When we left, Luka was recovering from a GI bug and still taking meds & transitioning back to his regular dog food. I was nervous to leave our sick pup with a new sitter but Amanda was knowledgeable about administering meds & caring for a sick older dog. She put us at ease and took great care of Luka while we were away. We returned to a happy, relaxed and healthy dog- would definitely recommend Amanda!”

About: I specialize in long walks/hikes, treat giving, good dog affirmations, and cuddles! Live and work in Avon, can go anywhere in Eagle/Lake county. Been taking care of all types of dogs for about 20 years. I have a flexible schedule and would be happy to work around your pets’ needs! Available all days of the week with a few days notice. I will do anything and everything possible to ensure your pet’s safety and wellbeing! I am unfortunately not able to board pets in my apartment.

About: I've had dogs my entire life, and have taken care of pets in Vail Valley since 2012. Friends, neighbors and their friends rely on me for anything related to their pets: walk, care, train, feed, transport, take to vet, you name it. It all comes very natural to me and dogs seem to love me back! I've taken care of cats too in the last 2-3 years. I'm working remotely and part-time, so I have plenty of time to look after and play with your pups! I usually work on Tuesdays and a few additional hours here and there. My schedule is very flexible so I can accommodate to your needs I will make sure to follow all of your suggestions and recommendations when looking after your pet, and will not let dogs off leash unless specifically asked to by you.

“We had the privilege of having Elizabeth as a pet walker and pet sitter many, many times. She is incredible with our 75 lb pitbull that lacks manners 🤦🏽‍♀️ and our 45 lb hound mix. These two are WILD together, and Elizabeth handled them with grace. She has no problem being firm with either of them when needed, and always snuggles them on the couch. Elizabeth had 0 problems walking both dogs on a double leash - they pull very hard - and sometimes runs with the little one (she’s crazy energetic). She did a fantastic job with keeping them fed every day and maintaining a walking schedule. At one point, one of them needed medicine and Elizabeth was happy to help administer all meds as needed. Elizabeth is truly a joy to have as bonus dog “mom” as we trust her fully with both of our babies. I can’t recommend her enough, as she gives us peace of mind while we’re away with daily photos and pup-dates of their behavior. Anyone would be lucky to have her pet sit/pet walk for them!”
