“Elizabeth was great! We have a very anxious 8 year old female dog. We needed someone to come over and take her out twice while we drove down to Boulder for the day. Elizabeth came over promptly, took pictures and sent them to me, and provided texts regarding the visit. She is so helpful and sweet - I will definitely use her again and highly recommend her!!”

“This is the second time Natalie has watched our 2 dogs. Once again, we are very happy with the time and care that she has given our dogs, especially because one is an 8-month old lab puppy. Natalie is very prompt, responsible and professional. We know they will be in good hands with Natalie!”

“Patty helped us out last minute with taking our girl Nala out for a walk, and we were so appreciative of her help! She was great with our dog, and we would definitely work with her again!”

About: I've had dogs all of my life, and currently my family has three. I have watched family friends dogs while they have been on vacation. I had a cat growing up and have some experience with them as well. I will begin full time work on the 13th of June, then my schedule will change week to week depending on my hours! Thursday-Sunday works best! I walk my dog daily, feed her, play with her, and interact with her throughout my day. I also bathe her when needed and have participated in doing these tasks for my dogs growing up.
“Michael has the magic touch with dogs. After 3 walks my boy looked at him with pure love and affection, such a short time for a great bond between them. I am so grateful to have found such a wonderful dog walker for my senior dog. The care, patience, and genuine kindness shown on every visit truly mean everything to me. My pup moves a little slower now and needs extra attention, and that is always met with understanding and compassion. I get great communication, reliable scheduling, and complete peace of mind knowing my dog is safe, comfortable, and loved. It’s clear this is more than just a job — it’s real care. Highly recommend, especially for anyone with an older dog who needs a gentle, trustworthy hand.”

“Shelby took care of our golden retriever pup while we were in Breckenridge on a ski trip. She took her on walks, to the dog park, fed her, and kept her company so we could enjoy our days on the mountain. Shelby sent pictures and was very responsive to texts. We would highly recommend her to anyone looking for dog care!”
About: The happiness and safety of a furbaby is always my top priority. I have fostered, owned, and cared for many unique dogs and cats. I have a great work ethic, I will follow your exact requests, and leave the home or job better than before! It is currently summer, I have one online summer class- so I am home majority of the time! I occasionally work at a local preschool from 3-5, and then am back home with the fur babies! I have minimal restrictions, if any, to what i’m able to do for you. I can feed as many times a day as needed, I can crate and I can help train. I will keep them off furniture if that’s what you prefer, and can help with special feeding instructions. Anything you need, that isn’t too un reasonable, of course.

About: I’ve spent years caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities — from energetic adventure pups to seniors who need a slower pace and extra patience. I’m especially attentive to routine, behavior cues, and emotional well-being. I take the time to learn what makes each pet feel safe and comfortable, whether that’s sticking closely to their schedule, providing calm companionship, or getting them outside for structured exercise. I have experience with: Puppies (potty routines, basic manners, consistency) Senior dogs (gentle walks, medication reminders, extra monitoring) High-energy dogs who need both physical activity and mental stimulation Anxious or shy pets, using calm handling and positive reinforcement I’m reliable, communicative, and proactive — you’ll receive regular updates, photos, and honest check-ins so you never have to wonder how your pet is doing. I treat every animal as if they were my own, with patience, respect, and genuine care. What truly sets me apart is that I don’t rush care. Your pet gets real attention, not just a check-in — and your peace of mind is just as important to me as their happiness structure my days around the pets I’m caring for, making sure they get consistent attention, walks, meals, playtime, and companionship — not rushed drop-ins. I have the flexibility to: Provide morning, midday, and evening care Take dogs out for regular walks and outdoor time Be present for longer stays and extended companionship Adjust schedules to match your pet’s normal routine I’m mindful of maintaining consistency, especially for pets who thrive on structure or need extra reassurance while their humans are away. Whether it’s a quick check-in, a long walk, or overnight care, your pet is worked into my day as a priority — not an afterthought. I communicate clearly about availability and will always let you know ahead of time if anything changes. I provide care exclusively in my clients’ homes, where pets are most comfortable and routines stay consistent. I follow your instructions closely and treat your space with the same respect I would my own. In your home, I: Maintain your pet’s normal feeding, walking, and medication schedule Provide companionship, playtime, and calm presence (not just quick check-ins) Keep your pet’s environment clean, safe, and low-stress Watch for behavior or health changes and communicate proactively Send regular updates and photos so you feel connected while you’re away I’m attentive to details — from securing doors and gates to respecting house rules and routines. For overnight stays, I ensure pets have consistency, comfort, and reassurance throughout the day and night. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, relaxed, and cared for — and for you to have total peace of mind knowing both your pet and your home are in trustworthy hands.
About: I have always loved dogs! I have an 11 year old family labradoodle back in Minnesota and I also helped take care of my roommate's border collie while I was in college. Additionally, in high school, I volunteered at the Animal Humane Society as a dog walker and I also worked at the Petsmart PetsHotel, where I spent my entire days entertaining dogs. During my time in Colorado, I've been working with dogs at Rocky Mountain Puppy Rescue and Dumb Friends League as well as dog sitting/walking regularly. I graduated from the University of Denver in 2019 and I'm currently living in Breckenridge as a ski instructor and working at a sushi restaurant. I can't have my own dog in my house (landlord rules), so I would love to hang out with your dog! During the summer I just work at a restaurant in the evening. I work Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 4:30-9ish. Other then that I’ll be around all day! I will make sure your fur baby's safety is my top priority. This means always using a leash unless your yard is fenced in or the dog has great recall. It's important to me to know if your dog is on medication and when/how to administer it as well as knowing what food and treats are okay for your pet to have.

“Rose was great! Communicative and helpful for midday walks. Understanding and compassionate to our girls. We’d have Rose back again as Kennedy, who can be very sensitive around new people, and Harvest both approved.”

About: I'll take your dog on all of the adventures! I've never lived without owning a dog and I absolutely adore these amazing animals. I keep my dog active and healthy and love to keep good company for him to enjoy life with. I'm always researching new health tips for my pup and would love to share them with you and your dog! I would like to keep as many dogs as I can active and healthy. I'm available most of everyday, except for days I am in class. I am a nursing student at Colorado Mountain College in Breckenridge and I really enjoy having dogs around as my study buddies. I would like to give what I can to every dog that I have the pleasure of meeting. These animals deserve the world and I'd like to help give them the best care they can get as frequently as they should. I’m currently a student and love to study at home with all the dogs and take plenty of walk breaks! The only time I’m not at home with the dogs is when I’m in class. I have a very friendly boy named Copper who just lost his older brother and is looking for friends to spend time and to play with
“Our large pup has loved her visits and walks with Eric! He’s been dependable, thoughtful, and incredibly caring throughout the ski season while taking care of our dog. We’ve had a wonderful experience with him and would highly recommend Eric to anyone looking for a reliable and attentive dog walker.”

“Lynnae was so helpful with our dog walking needs on our recent visit to Breckenridge. We had some last minute changes with another dog walker who could not walk Josie each of the days during our ski trip. We contacted Lynnae for a last minute booking (2 days before our arrival) and she was able to help us out. We did a video meet and greet, and she came by during the afternoons to take Josie out while we were skiing. Lynnae is friendly, responsible, and gave us a thorough reports and photos after each walk. We would not hesitate to book with her again.”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
