“Joan is wonderful! She watched our dog for a week and was in contact through photos and video the entire time. Our dog has separation anxiety so it was very important to us that she be in a calm and safe space. Joan took her for multiple walks a day, never left her alone and provided lots of places for her to curl up. She was able to spend a week stress free and we were able to enjoy the time away worry free. We will definitely have Joan watch her again!”

“Mozelle is absolutely fabulous!!! She sent constant updates, I was nervous about leaving my puppy and she made me so comfortable!!! Highly highly recommend her!!!”

“Bridget is incredible! She took excellent care of my high energy dog and send lots of updates. Bridget was very accommodating and flexible with my flight delays. Highly recommend!!”

“Great and quick communication! Very trustworthy! You can tell they have a real passion for animals. I felt very comfortable leaving Ajax with Jana and Colten a second time. Always my first choice for any boarding needs!”

“Demetria and Jonathan took such great care of Ham and we couldn’t be more grateful! He was given lots of love, pets, walks, and time laying around in their fenced backyard (which he LOVES to do). Truly felt that they treated him like he was one of their own and that’s the most you can hope for from a dog sitter. He barely wanted to even leave when we came to pick him up 😂 that shows you how kind they were to him!”

“Zach took great care of Nova! She got lots of exercise, and he sent me plenty of updates, so I always knew she was in good hands. I would definitely have Nova stay with Zach again!”

“BEST dog sitter EVER! Loryn and Max took care of our Labrador Stella for 10 days. She came home happy and healthy from her amazing adventures of hiking everyday and lots of love and attention from them both! I could tell Stella was having a great time by all the amazing photos they sent us. We will definitely be repeat customers. Stella is in love with them!!”
“Sue was absolutely amazing! We took a ski day and our dog stayed with her and had a blast, she was very communicative, sent photos, and made sure the dogs she had get along together with ours. She had repetitive doggies there and I’m sure our dog Cash will be one of them next time we come.”

About: Hello! I’ve been caring for my own and other people’s dogs for 25 years...a wide range of sizes and personalities. I’ve particularly been around Rottweilers, German Shepherds, Labs, Great Danes, Goldens, Aussie Shepherds, Havanese, Dachshunds, Huskies, Chihuahuas, Doodles of all kinds, and of course many wonderful mixes. I have had dog parties/sleepovers/boarded at my home and for others in their homes. I’m super happy to cater to your pup’s unique preferences...I can make special foods, pop pills down expertly, change diapers, hang out at the dog park, play fetch, hit the trails, whatever your best friend likes best. Making their day makes my day too! I’m currently working seasonally doing gardening, and am very flexible with my routine. Being around dogs and making them happy is something that brings me me a lot of joy! I will follow whatever normal rules established in your home, or bring them home with me to share space with my two small and friendly dogs.
“Karen was amazing and our dog just loved her! We had some time to kill before a wedding and were able to pick him up and take him for a hike. When we went back to drop him back off after our hike, our dog was genuinely happy to see her, it was great. If I could rate more than 5 stars I would. Super cool and great experience.”

“This was my first time using rover for my 6 mo puppy and of course was nervous to leave her for a few days but she had an amazing time! She was so loved and taken great care of. It was so awesome to get tons of daily updates!”

“Amanda was great! She responded quickly and was able to accommodate on short notice. She sent pictures and took Maggie on one of her favorite walks! I had a tired pup when I picked her up, which is always a guarantee that she had a good time. I will definitely be using Amanda again!”

“Kaylie and Axel were so incredibly kind to our beagle, Beau! We received daily updates and pictures. He was well cared for and they went above and beyond to take him on extra walks and adventures.”

Holly was absolutely amazing. She helped me on such short notice and my dog Hank absolutely loved his weekend with her and her dog Clover. I would recommend Holly to anyone. She asked really thoughtful questions when we met about Hank and sent some amazing photos along the way so I could see how happy he was. I’ll definitely reach out to her again next time we’re in town!

Tim is the best! He was more than accommodating with our crazy plans. Hunter, our 10 year old rescue of 2 years was in the best hands. Tim figured out Hunter’s quirks and gave him a week of his best life going for walks down the trail and playing in the snow, on top of being Hunter’s best friend for the week. Tim kept us updated with texts and pictures, calming our anxiety of leaving Hunter for the week. I can’t say enough about Tim and his heart and professionalism!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
