“Astrid had a great time over the 2 nights and 3 days she was boarded with Joan. It was lovely that Joan took the time to take our very energetic pup in long walks and adventures around town. Joan’s attention to detail about where and when she took Astrid out was appreciated, it helped set Astrid up for success. Throughout her stay Joan kept us up to date with pics and videos. Which was also appreciated.”

About: I'm a caring and experienced pet caregiver who genuinely loves animals. With 10 years of nursing experience, I know how important it is to treat each pet as an individual and give them the love and attention they need. I've taken care of dogs with different needs, including health issues like seizures and anxiety, so I’m comfortable handling special situations and making sure your pet feels safe and cared for. The dates I list as available are days when I or my spouse are off from work and home 100%. As I work part-time as a nurse (2 days/week), I have plenty of time to play with your pups and give them the attention they need during our available days. My husband, Paul, and I are in our 30s and have lived in Silverthorne for the past 6 years. I’m a nurse, while he’s an environmental scientist. We love the outdoors and enjoy exploring the beautiful trails around our home. Although I am newer to Rover, I bring years of hands-on experience caring for dogs with various needs. My husband and I have both cared for pups in every stage of life. We are fully dedicated to providing your pet with the love and care they deserve. We live in a clean, pet-friendly, spacious 3-bedroom duplex (no roommates). Our shared yard is smaller, but the surrounding walkable areas have plenty of trails for outdoor adventures and exercise year-round — summer or winter! I currently have one dog of my own, who is older and very good with other pups. He’s a calm, friendly guy and will make your dogs feel at home with us. I am experienced in managing multiple pets and ensuring everyone feels safe and loved. As a pet parent myself, I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy and compassionate. I’ll treat your pet as if they were my own, ensuring they feel safe, loved, and cared for while you’re away. If you think I might be the right fit for your furry friend, I’d love to chat or set up a meet-and-greet!

“Tracy was so accommodating and did such a great job taking care of our cat while we skied! She was very responsive and communicative and is in a convenient location for anyone looking for pet care while hitting the slopes!”

“I always feel comfortable leaving Kate with Scenic. I get a ton of pictures of Kate, bathing in the sun, snuggling on the couch, and enjoying her mini-vacation away from me! Will continue to rebook when I travel out of town!”

“This was my first time bringing Viola to doggy daycare so I was a bit nervous. Justin brought the worry down very quickly. He was amazing to Viola, she had a blast! Thanks again Justin!”

“Sue was absolutely amazing! We took a ski day and our dog stayed with her and had a blast, she was very communicative, sent photos, and made sure the dogs she had get along together with ours. She had repetitive doggies there and I’m sure our dog Cash will be one of them next time we come.”

About: I used to have a cat for 12 years. I am experienced watching my friends dogs in my house for a max of 2 weeks. Your animal will get a lot of attention because I am at home all day. I work at home 8-4 so your pet should have all the attention they need. For dogs, I will give them walks 3x a day. I have a yard for well trained dogs to play in. My townhome has 1 roomate, and I have quiet neighbors so your animal shouldn’t have anxiety staying with me.

“Jennifer and her family were awesome, and we will always use them in the future. We originally selected another sitter but at the last minute we decided not to use them. Jennifer accepted our dog the same day with only a couple of hours notice. We couldn’t be happier and thankful to have met her! Best sitters in Breckenridge!!!”

“Karen was fantastic with my cat Nigel! She’s sent photo updates, and I could tell he had a great time hanging with her for the day. Definitely recommend Karen to watch your pets, they’ll be so well taken care of!”

“Sara was amazing. Sarah demonstrated exceptional communication and flexibility. She kept us informed on Yanni's day-to-day activities and took excellent care of Yanni as if he was her own. Sara 's proximity to main Street Breckenridge was so convenient and she took the time to walk and exercise Yanni each day. Sara is an amazing person and we will definitely rebook with her in the future.”

“Jayme and her partner were awesome with our goldendoodle. We needed some last minute holiday care and they came in clutch. They even replaced some toys that our dog destroyed! We would totally recommend Jayme”

About: I volunteer at the Frisco animal shelter so I have experience with puppies, seniors, reactive dogs and everything in between. I’ve also owned two dogs through their whole lives and have done some dog sitting on the Trusted Housesitters website. I work as a firefighter/ paramedic, so every day I wind up in people's homes on 911 calls, and often they have dogs, and it takes every bit of my self control to stay focused on the emergency at hand, and not get down on my knees and reassure the dogs and give them love. I'm a dog person through and through. Currently I own no dogs, so I've been getting my fix through dog sitting and volunteering. My work schedule is 48 hour shifts, and then I have a block of 4 days off. I only pet-sit when I am off, so, your dog(s) won't ever be left alone. I'm a bit of a homebody so I'm happy to have the company as I putter around the house, and then hiking is my main activity I do every day, and I will take your dog with me, if they're up for it. If a mosey two houses down is all your old dog can do, I'm happy to do that too. I live in a ground floor condo at the very end of a sleepy street and there are open spaces and trails all around me. I also like to hop in the car and drive just a few minutes to lots of other trailheads nearby to get the dogs out - of course only if you're ok with that. Dogs can sleep on my bed and on my couches. I don't take on more than one dog at a time (unless they are from the same household), so your dog will have my full attention and love. Whatever their normal schedule is for food, medications, treats, bathroom, exercise etc. I will have no problem keeping them to their normal routine. I live alone in a quiet and uncluttered space where I'm sure your dog will feel right at home.

“Murphy was so tired after his time here! He is a very active dog, and having other dogs to play with made his time so rewarding! I could see in his eyes in the photos that were sent that he was happy as can be!”

“Theo was Ben’s first pup to sit through Rover. I was a little apprehensive just because he didn’t have any reviews yet, but after communicating with him I decided to give him the opportunity. He eased my mind by offering to do whatever it took to make me feel comfortable. I suggested a meet and greet & he agreed. He was super communicative and helped me feel at ease. While Theo was in his care, he sent frequent updates and photos. I was very happy with the level of service Ben provided. Would definitely use him again if I’m ever in the area again. I highly recommend!”

He took Yoshi on long walks, played fetch at the park and gave her lots of cuddles. Everything my pup loves. Yoshi also got sick (from eating something she shouldn't have under MY CARE) and Stuss kept me updated and took great care until I returned. He even checked in on her after he left. Stuss was the best sitter I’ve had. I would recommend his care to anyone.”
