About: I have had pets my entire life. I have house trained cats and dogs and get along well with pets of all temperments. I have stayed in other people’s home without a hitch and would love to huck a disk in the sun with your pup! I work full time, so this my side hustle. I will not commit to your pet if I do not have the time, your dogs deserve better than someone who forgets or doesn’t have time. I cannot house your dog at my place, but I will take good care if your home. I know the best walking routes for your ball of energy!
About: I’ve been around dogs all my life, having many in the family growing up, living with roommates’ dogs, and having my own. I even rescued a dog while living abroad and brought her to the U.S. I have experience with special needs dogs. My old glad went completely blind and had doggy dementia in her twilight years. I have also cared for a hearing-impaired pup. I would love to spend time with your four-legged fur babes. I’m an active person who will never skip a walk no matter the weather (unless I can’t physically reach your home due to snow/ice/etc). Puppy to senior, I will take sincere care of your best friend(s). I work from home so have a very flexible schedule with most days available on short notice. I understand that last minute things come up; I am happy to help out in a pinch! I am not able to provide care to your doggo(s) in my own home however would be happy to in yours (your dog’s preferred environment). About: I grew up caring for animals on our farm and have always had a deep love for them. My own fur baby Moge passed away a few years ago. He was such a sweet nugget who gave me plenty of experience. I understand how to read animal’s behavior and listen for cues of distress/anxiety. I have experience with dogs of different sizes and breeds. I will treat your fur baby as if they were my own and will respect boundaries and rules that you have in place for their training and schedule. I currently have a flexible schedule and I am able to accommodate many different requests including weekday and weekend house sitting or over night stays. Safety first, during walks I prefer dogs to be on harnesses so as to limit the potential for injuries due to sudden jerks. I know first hand how some pups can get scared of oncoming traffic or excited by other wildlife, your pet’s health is my top concern. Walking should help their health not hurt it. I always allow pets to warm up to me when doing drop in visits and do my best to minimize stress during the visit. An owner’s absence can be confusing and stressful for the pet, it’s important they feel loved and safe. I will do everything I can to adhere to the boundaries you have in place with your pet such as jumping, treats, boundary areas in the home, ect. We can discuss these in detail prior to booking.
About: Dogs are the best part of life! I will care for your babies like they’re my own! I have been doing this for awhile now & just love it. I work part time, but it is a remote position. About: I have been taking care of a large variety of dogs for 20 years. From eight weeks old to 16 years old, from pugs to chows and pitbulls to 140 pound malamutes I have cared for them all. I can come by to walk and feed your best friends once a day or stay and cook them meals as per your request. I want to make sure you and your loved ones are as comfortable as possible while you are away. I do freelance work so I have pretty open availability. Making sure you're needs are met so you are comfortable is my top priority. If for some reason I can't meet all of your needs I will tell you before committing to something that doesn't fit my schedule or abilities. I am here for you. How I care for your pets and home is mostly dependent on your requests. I give medicine, food and exercise as requested. I can simply fill a food bowl, measure servings and even cook protein and veggies for your dogs if that is what you want. I am happy to keep you updated or send you pictures if you'd like. Walks are as far/long/plentiful as requested. I want to provide you with the comfort of knowing someone is there to care for your loved one as you would while you are away.

About: I have had dogs ever since I could remember as a kid. I have experience sitting for small, big, old, young, and medically complex animals, also including cats and reptiles. I have administered medications/observed certain pets as well that needed a little extra attention. I currently work early mornings, but can switch that around, Friday-Wednesday, usually off by 3pm. I would be able to house sit any of these days and do walks any morning and afternoon! I ensure I understand expectations from every owner on their routines and desires. I ensure I keep the place clean and give the animals the space, as well as attention, they need! I try my best to mimick what their usual routine is so when the owners get back, the transition is smooth and less anxiety stricken for both parties.
About: I grew up with a rescue dog, raising him from a puppy all the way through his life. This came with challenges due to his background, and he required a lot of extra care and training. I am very used to puppies or dogs that may be extra energetic or need extra attention. I am still surrounded my family members' dogs, and I have housesat for other dogs in the past as well for weeks at a time. I thoroughly enjoy playing with them and helping out when I can. Although I don't have a dog myself right now, I will always take an opportunity to hang out with a dog while helping the owner out as well! I currently work a full time job, but my hours are flexible, so I have some time before/during/after work. I also get an hour break in the middle of my day, which is a great time to take a dog for a walk or stop by and let the dog out. Weekdays are best, but I am usually around on weekends as well. I don't currently have any pets, but when I had a dog we had an electric fence and were able to let him out to run freely. I am used to walking dogs on leashes, but happy to let them off leash or take to the dog park at the owner's discretion. I always discuss with the owner what toys the dog is allowed to have, how much to feed them, how often they should be let out, how many walks a day, how they act with other dogs, and overall care in the home.

walkers on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
