About: Hello, My name is Miranda, I am 29 years old, I have 2 fur-babies that are high-energy labs, they keep me on my toes, I love walking them and playing with them. I am very clean, as my husband and I had our own cleaning business. I will never skip a walk for a powder day, I don't ski or snowboard. I love dogs and enjoy the company of them. I'm always on time and rarely sick. I've lived in the high country for 10 years. I've had dogs of many different sizes and breeds my whole life. I love going on hikes and to the lake! Please contact me if you are interested in a local dog sitter. I own my own business in Breckenridge but now live in Alma. I am always on the lookout for more work I usually only work until 6. I wake up really early and stay up late so I will have plenty of time for extra activities! I do not bring dogs home because it is against my lease to have more than my dogs at my house. Dogs that I watch at their homes if the yard is fenced I will always stay outside with them and they will always be on a leash on walks and hikes.

“Kimberly was so attentive and passionate towards caring for my 2 dogs (German Shepard & Lab Mix) and truly asked all the right questions during the booking process/ meet and greet. When doing check-ins all weekend long she sent some photos of the pups and gave a little summary of their time together. I would 100% recommend her for any local park county dog owners or anyone passing through!”

“Jamie helped us out with our 2 dogs while we were visiting Colorado. We had a long trail day and couldn’t take them with us. Jamie was available for a meet and greet and the dogs loved her. She took great care of them while we were gone. We will definitely book her again the next time we are in the area.”

About: I’ve had pets in my home since I was 11, i’ve been responsible for taking care of friends and families pet needs since, walking, feeding, exercising their lovely animals most of my life! I adore it! My partner and I have alternating work schedules, so at any given moment, one of us is with the dogs! We have my our pup so we make sure we are capable of taking care of ours, and yours any day of the week! I have ample walking routes around my home a dog proofed house! We ensure all dogs get the stimulation and exercise they need! I also have separate rooms for feeding multiple dogs if need be!
“Jeremy has watched my cat a few times now, he is very professional and kind. Additionally, Jeremy goes out of his way to try to play and interact with my cat when he visits which I appreciate a lot! My cat is usually pretty shy and standoffish, but he has gotten to know and trust Jeremy and is friendly during visits. I'm very thankful for this because extended periods without me around can make him very stressed and have lasting impacts on his health. Would absolutely recommend Jeremy as a reliable pet sitter!”

About: Hi! As a kid I had multiple dogs through out the years; a Golden Retriever, Jack Russel, Chow mix, and now my parents have a 110 lb Golden doodle who I see a few times a year. Here in Colorado I have my own Wire Hair Terrier and "something else mix", named Iko. He's a sweet heart who loves to run, hike, back country ski, and lounge on the porch in the sun. I think dogs are happiest when getting enough exercise, attention, and socialization, and I promise to provide that for your pup. My husband and I petsit for friends often, and love having some extra pups in the house, it helps our dog get good healthy socialization and tuckers him out a bit! Both my husband and I work from home, so your pup wont be left at home alone for long periods of time. Please let me know if your pet does have any separation anxiety, or if being left alone is a concern. My house has a 1 acre fenced pasture for your pup to run around in, I'm also less than a mile from National Forest where I can take your dog on leashed walks/runs.

About: I've been taking care of and raising animals since I was a young child. Throughout my life I've owned many different breeds of dog, as well as sat for friends and family pets. I love to play with pets who are willing, or just hang out with them. My schedule is currently wide open for pet care as I've recently moved here from out of state. I can stay in your pets home, or just check in on them throughout the day. I'm currently not offering sitting in my home because I've got an old pup of my own, but I care for others pets as if they're my own. However if I'm pet sitting in someone else's home I follow the guidelines I'm given to the letter!
“Emma was very sweet with my dog Trixie who can sometimes be fearful of new people but she took to Emma immediately! Emma followed all my requests and was very communicative with me. Thank you!”

About: I have had dogs my whole life and value loving and walking my own dog more than anything. I will make sure your dog is safe and in good hands. I work part time so I have a fairly open schedule to help take care of your pet in the morning, early afternoon and evening. I can follow any of your direction easily on how you want your pet to be taken care of. I am big on making sure there is no eating hazards around and that dogs water bowls are full.
About: I have raised my (almost) 9 year old black lab myself and have extensive experience dog sitting all types of animals. I am the trusted sitter for all of my friends and family. I work from home, which gives me ample time to tend to the needs of animals and can spend plenty of time outside at our neighborhood dog park! Currently, I have one dog and one cat. I work from home, which allows me to spend plenty of time with the animals on a daily basis and am there for anything they need or want! While I do not have a fenced in yard, I do have an outdoor area for quick potty breaks. I live in a quiet neighborhood with a large outdoor dog park just a short walk away.
“We were both nervous to leave our boy Gunner as we’ve never left him alone especially for more than a couple days. Jeremy assured us he’d send us pics and take good care of our boy, and he stuck to his word. He did so well making Gunner feel comfortable with him, taking him for walks, and making sure he ate his food daily. Thank you so much, Jeremy, for putting our minds at ease so we could enjoy vacation with family. We will definitely reach out in the future. Highly recommended!!”

“Amazing service! I had an emergency and Roxanne stepped and save the day. I can’t thank her enough. She was extremely prompt and professional and super comforting that my pup would be taken care of. For sure recommend and will be using her services again too! Thanks again”

“Shannon was amazing. We have ring so we know she was on time. Came exactly when we wanted. We left complex instructions because we have two pets that require different food. She did an excellent job. Would hire her again in a heartbeat.”

About: I started pet sitting when I was a teenager and have loved doing so ever since! I have watched the pets of family members, friends, and community members, through word of mouth. I have worked with animals of all sizes, temperaments, and species! My most unique pet sitting experience was an axolotl! My longest pet sitting was a period of 6 months for 2 elderly cats. I am so excited to spend time with your pets! I work full time at an elementary school. I am able to provide walks, check ins, and face-to-face time after school (4 pm M-Th). I am also available F-S with much more availability. I am happy to host pets after a quick meet and greet with my pup to make sure that both pets feel comfortable! I am also happy to care for the pet in your home and to leave my pup with my partner!
“This is our second time using Dariia. It had been a while since we used her last, but my dog remembered her immediately. My dog is typically anxious when we're gone for a few days, but she was totally calm while we were gone.”

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Alma. On Rover:
- 86% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 93% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
