About: Hi! I’m Stuss — a firefighter/paramedic and lifelong dog person based near Keystone/Dillon. Outside of work I volunteer at the Frisco Animal Shelter and with Summit Lost Pet Rescue, so I’m comfortable with a wide range of dogs: puppies, seniors, shy dogs, reactive dogs etc. I’ve also owned two dogs through their whole lives, so I understand how much trust it takes to leave your best friend with someone else. My setup is simple: I only take one dog at a time (or two from the same household). That means your dog gets my full attention, a calm environment, and care that’s tailored to their routine — not a busy “pack” situation. I donate 20% of my earnings on Rover to the local animal shelter/rescue work I support. My work schedule is 48 hour shifts, and then I have a block of 4 days off. Some of those days I go on adventures, and some of those days I chill around the house. Those "rest days" are when I open my calendar up for dog sitting, so, your dog(s) will have my company all day while I'm at home doing chores, relaxing, and getting outside. I love to hike year round and I will take your dog with me, if they're up for it. I always match the day to your dog. Energetic dogs can join for longer walks/hikes, and seniors can take it slow with short strolls and extra couch time. About: Hi! As a kid I had multiple dogs through out the years; a Golden Retriever, Jack Russel, Chow mix, and now my parents have a 110 lb Golden doodle who I see a few times a year. Here in Colorado I have my own Wire Hair Terrier and "something else mix", named Iko. He's a sweet heart who loves to run, hike, back country ski, and lounge on the porch in the sun. I think dogs are happiest when getting enough exercise, attention, and socialization, and I promise to provide that for your pup. My husband and I petsit for friends often, and love having some extra pups in the house, it helps our dog get good healthy socialization and tuckers him out a bit! Both my husband and I work from home, so your pup wont be left at home alone for long periods of time. Please let me know if your pet does have any separation anxiety, or if being left alone is a concern. My house has a 1 acre fenced pasture for your pup to run around in, I'm also less than a mile from National Forest where I can take your dog on leashed walks/runs.

About: I have loved dogs and other animals for as long as I can remember. In 2nd grade we were assigned to write and illustrate a book. My book was titled “Dogs” and predicted that by 2050 dogs would have their own hottub and sing karaoke. I guess you can say I’ve always wanted to give dogs their best life! Luckily Rover is here now to provide a platform to meet new people and their pets. I have experience taking care of a wide variety of animals whether it be size, age, temperament, ability level/disabilities, etc. I have administered shots and have some grooming training under my belt as well. I live alone in an apartment with no other pets (besides my aquarium) just a few minutes south of town in a ground level unit. This allows me to accept most Rover requests! I can ensure you that I will care for them as if they are my own. I try to be attentive and understanding of each animals needs and emotions. I know staying with someone else can be unsettling for many animals and I just want to keep everyone safe and happy:) If it’s allowed, they’re more than welcome to sleep up in my bed with me too! I do have a couple other job but, don’t let this deter you! I work in a couple restaurants that are only open for dinner. Usually, i’m there 3-5 nights a week. This schedule does change sometimes. The shifts usually range from 4-6 hours. I let pets out before work and return home to do the same right after. This leaves all day to snuggle, go on hikes/walks, go swimming in the summer, play fetch, etc. Whatever is on you and your dog’s agenda! When I leave the house I usually put on Dog Tv on YouTube I always follow owners exact instructions whether it be at my place or theirs. I’ve also lived in the area for about 10 years and am very familiar with my surroundings. We do live in an area where you have to be careful about wild life. Proud to say I have never had any incidents! Living here that long I’ve learned different areas to take dogs on walks on or off leash, good areas for dog friendly or not so dog friendly dogs, or just a different place to play fetch.

About: I absolutely love all animals! I am also very good at keeping up with training. In the past, I volunteered with Spencer Kennel and Pet Rescue in O'Fallon, Illinois. Here in Colorado Springs, I fostered two pit bull terriers for a year long each. Last year, I worked as a dog walker at Sunrise and Woodmen Kennels. I am a kind, responsible person who will ensure the happiness and safety of your pets. When an animal starts acting strange, I am quick to notice, and I am not afraid to contact the owner to ask questions about that behavior. My cousins are veterinarians, so I have the ability to contact them in case of an information emergency. I have a Great Pyrenees Mix and a very fluffy grey cat. I live in Fairplay and work in Breckenridge. My partner is able to stay home with my pets on days when I am needed for overnights. It would be ideal to pet sit near Frisco/Silverthorne/Breckenridge, so that I can easily get to and from your home. If I am having a pet in my home, it will always be kept on a leash outside since I do not have a fenced in yard.

About: Hi! I’m Stuss — a firefighter/paramedic and lifelong dog person based near Keystone/Dillon. Outside of work I volunteer at the Frisco Animal Shelter and with Summit Lost Pet Rescue, so I’m comfortable with a wide range of dogs: puppies, seniors, shy dogs, reactive dogs etc. I’ve also owned two dogs through their whole lives, so I understand how much trust it takes to leave your best friend with someone else. My setup is simple: I only take one dog at a time (or two from the same household). That means your dog gets my full attention, a calm environment, and care that’s tailored to their routine — not a busy “pack” situation. I donate 20% of my earnings on Rover to the local animal shelter/rescue work I support. My work schedule is 48 hour shifts, and then I have a block of 4 days off. Some of those days I go on adventures, and some of those days I chill around the house. Those "rest days" are when I open my calendar up for dog sitting, so, your dog(s) will have my company all day while I'm at home doing chores, relaxing, and getting outside. I love to hike year round and I will take your dog with me, if they're up for it. I always match the day to your dog. Energetic dogs can join for longer walks/hikes, and seniors can take it slow with short strolls and extra couch time. I live in a ground-floor condo at the end of a quiet street with trails and open space nearby. With your permission, I also drive a few minutes to local trailheads for variety, and I kind of specialize in knowing quiet places to hike without the crowds. About: I was a foster parent for the Larimer Humane Society for years, have been around animals since I was a child. I love hanging out with pets of all shapes and sizes. Cant wait to walk and talk to pets.
