“Everything about Koda’s stay with Corinne was perfect. She accommodated us stopping by a couple times to pick up Koda for hikes (since dogs weren’t allowed at our condo). She even offered to pick him up once to let us avoid the construction traffic back to her house. She did a great job feeding Koda his antibiotics and eye drops too. Corinne was very capable with our independent Great Pyrenees and he clearly loved staying with Corinne and her son. I even rescued a dog while living abroad and brought her to the U.S. I have experience with special needs dogs. My old glad went completely blind and had doggy dementia in her twilight years. I have also cared for a hearing-impaired pup. I would love to spend time with your four-legged fur babes. I’m an active person who will never skip a walk no matter the weather (unless I can’t physically reach your home due to snow/ice/etc). Puppy to senior, I will take sincere care of your best friend(s). I work from home so have a very flexible schedule with most days available on short notice. I understand that last minute things come up; I am happy to help out in a pinch! I am not able to provide care to your doggo(s) in my own home however would be happy to in yours (your dog’s preferred environment). He was such a sweet nugget who gave me plenty of experience. I understand how to read animal’s behavior and listen for cues of distress/anxiety. I will treat your fur baby as if they were my own and will respect boundaries and rules that you have in place for their training and schedule. I currently have a flexible schedule and I am able to accommodate many different requests including weekday and weekend house sitting or over night stays. Safety first, during walks I prefer dogs to be on harnesses so as to limit the potential for injuries due to sudden jerks. I know first hand how some pups can get scared of oncoming traffic or excited by other wildlife, your pet’s health is my top concern. Walking should help their health not hurt it. I always allow pets to warm up to me when doing drop in visits and do my best to minimize stress during the visit. An owner’s absence can be confusing and stressful for the pet, it’s important they feel loved and safe. I will do everything I can to adhere to the boundaries you have in place with your pet such as jumping, treats, boundary areas in the home, ect. We can discuss these in detail prior to booking.

I have administered medications/observed certain pets as well that needed a little extra attention. I am still surrounded my family members' dogs, and I have housesat for other dogs in the past as well for weeks at a time. I thoroughly enjoy playing with them and helping out when I can. Although I don't have a dog myself right now, I will always take an opportunity to hang out with a dog while helping the owner out as well! I currently work a full time job, but my hours are flexible, so I have some time before/during/after work. I also get an hour break in the middle of my day, which is a great time to take a dog for a walk or stop by and let the dog out. Weekdays are best, but I am usually around on weekends as well. I don't currently have any pets, but when I had a dog we had an electric fence and were able to let him out to run freely. I am used to walking dogs on leashes, but happy to let them off leash or take to the dog park at the owner's discretion. I always discuss with the owner what toys the dog is allowed to have, how much to feed them, how often they should be let out, how many walks a day, how they act with other dogs, and overall care in the home.

“Everything about Koda’s stay with Corinne was perfect. She accommodated us stopping by a couple times to pick up Koda for hikes (since dogs weren’t allowed at our condo). She even offered to pick him up once to let us avoid the construction traffic back to her house. She did a great job feeding Koda his antibiotics and eye drops too. Corinne was very capable with our independent Great Pyrenees and he clearly loved staying with Corinne and her son. We will not hesitate to book with her out again if/when we are ever back in the area with Koda and can’t have him stay with us. Thank you so much Corinne!!!”
