About: I’ve been caring for fur babies since I graduated high school, giving both puppies and senior dogs the special attention they need. I love animals of every shape and size and treat them like my own—because let’s be honest, they run the household anyway. Your pet will get a happy, stress-free stay with plenty of love, snuggles, and top-tier spoiling. I work a full-time job during the day, but I’m available for drop-ins and visits in the late afternoons and evenings. I’m also free all day on Sundays, as well as one select weekday depending on my schedule. If you communicate your needs ahead of time, I’ll always do my best to make it happen. Your fur baby’s safety and happiness are my top priorities. I come to your home so your pet can stay in their favorite place, surrounded by familiar smells and routines. I follow your instructions carefully and keep your home secure, tidy, and respected. You’ll always get clear updates so you know your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for.
About: I worked at an animal rescue that taught me about dog’s personalities, body language, and overall how to be caring, loving and patient with them! Starting January 13th I have 1 college class from Monday through Thursdays in the afternoon. I am also starting a part time that will take most of my Friday and Saturday. Please reach out and see if my schedule works for you! At my home pets will get there time outside in my fenced yard to potty and play. Inside we can cuddle and hang out! Overall they will get the love and care needed even away from their home!
About: A lifetime dog-lover! Volunteer dog walker at Colorado Animal Rescue. Have been a proud owner of Labrador retrievers and a basenji! Dog walking is my sole pursuit, so you can expect wide availability: 7 days a week from dawn to dusk. Walk at the dog's preferred pace -- happily jog with a dog needing a higher level of activity. Expect me to follow these rules to keep your dog safe and healthy: - Maintain your dog on leash always. - Avoid contact with people and other dogs. - Small treats are provided only to reward desired behavior -- unless the owner specifies no treats. - Have fun! Always! I love dog-walking so much that I am happy to walk your dog any time from sunrise to sunset, seven days a week including holidays! At this time, I am not inviting pets into my home. I am always happy to visit with your dog in your home. I will keep the dog safe, stick closely to the dog’s normal routine, and respect the home as if it were my own. And potty breaks, of course!
About: I grew up with labradors and golden retrievers as family pets. Throughout high school, neighbors relied on me to walk and feed their pets. I also have experience taking care of cats and bunnies. At home, I have a spoiled toy poodle that is very affectionate. I am a local elementary school teacher looking to fill my summer schedule. I have very few responsibilities this summer before school starts again in August. I have a two story condo that is surrounded by great neighborhoods to walk. I also live one mile away from a great local park. I have reliable 4x4 transportation.
About: If you’re looking for a trustworthy, compassionate sitter — look no further! As a proud employee of the Colorado Animal Rescue in Glenwood Springs, I specialize in daily dog care, cleaning, enrichment, and adoptions. I’ve spent my whole life surrounded by animals — dogs, cats, horses, goats, and more — and I bring that lifelong experience to every pet I meet. At home, my two mountain-loving cats keep me company and remind me why I do what I love! I currently work part time and am available Thursday-Monday for all of your pet care needs. Whether you're on a weekend getaway or need an emergency trip somewhere, I've got you covered! Having 2 cats of my own and growing up with countless dogs, cats, and horses, I understand the importance of timely outs for dogs, and a plentiful amount of enrichment for your dogs and cats.
About: Aloha, my name is Laura. I have a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine and have been pet sitting for 22 years. I offer medication administration (oral & injections), nail trims, basic grooming, baths, subcutaneous fluids, anal gland expressions. I am especially familiar with diabetics, hyperthyroidism, renal failure and other metabolic issues. I am retired so I have all day to spend with your four-legged child but if you have a special needs or geriatric I will modify. I first gather information of your typical daily routine: diet, exercise, medications (quantity and frequency). I will mimic the routine unless your fur baby needs extra walks/hikes/play time. We have a lot of land and a river but if your dog is geriatric/post-op/sprinter this will be modified or eliminated. As stated above I assess every dog (age, behaviors, medical conditions, etc) and modify the safety of the environment to each individual. I specialize in special needs and geriatrics.
About: I have over 10 years of professional experience caring for all types of animals! I currently work for the UC Davis Koret Shelter Medicine Program and previously worked for many years at the Dumb Friends League (now Humane Colorado) in Denver, providing hands-on care for dogs and cats of all ages. I’ve also provided dog walking and pet sitting professionally, as well as for friends and family. I’m experienced with medicating pets (oral and injectable) and comfortable caring for special needs animals, including those with behavioral challenges such as fear, dog aggression, or leash reactivity. I’m passionate about animal welfare and making sure every pet I care for feels safe, happy, and loved. My husband and I live in New Castle, CO with our pug, Biscuit, and our cat, Charlie! I work remotely with a flexible schedule, so I can be available when pets need me, making sure I can give them plenty of love, attention, and care. I am very respectful of each owner’s wishes and make sure all of their pet’s needs are met. My goal is to give owners peace of mind, knowing their pets are safe, happy, and well cared for.
About: I’ve spent my entire life around animals from dogs and cats, to horses, goats, and chickens, providing consistent care for everyone from energetic puppies to sweet seniors needing extra TLC. I offer the best of both worlds: I’m an active person who loves hiking and long walks, but I’m just as happy to enjoy a quiet day at home with your pups. I can’t wait to meet your dog! For daycare and boarding I’m primarily available Friday through Sunday, however, I often have flexibility on Thursdays and Mondays, just send me a message and I’ll do my best to make it work! For dog walks I’m available all day Friday through Sunday, and Monday through Thursday after 5pm. I will always adjust my care routine to your dog’s likes and needs. Whether at my house or yours, and based on your dog’s needs, I like to be available for 2 long walks a day, supplemented with shorter potty breaks in between. I also believe that everyday should include time for your dog to do something they love (hikes, fetch, puzzle toys, dog park, etc.).
About: I've been caring for dogs since I was young, my own dogs also including fosters and rescue dogs, which give me early hands-on experience with different temperament. As a new adult I continued this work and have been professionally employed in a kennel for almost 2 years now. I'm comfortable with puppies, senior dogs, anxious or high energy dogs, and dogs with unique needs. I focus on safe handling and consistent routines to keep them comfortable and safe. Pet care fits naturally into my routine. I enjoy spending time with pets and schedule visits around my other commitments so I can give pets consistent attention and care. Its rewarding to have structure in my week while doing something I love. I provide pet care in the comfort of the pets own home. I follow all instructions carefully, maintain a safe and clean environment, and make sure pets feel comfortable and secure. I respect each pets routines and preferences to create a calm and trusting experience.
About: I’ve loved dogs my whole life and have been lucky to grow up with them and have my own now. I’ve done a lot of dog sitting and walking, so I know how to keep pups happy and healthy. My goal is to make every walk a fun adventure while giving your furry friend the specific care and attention they deserve and need! I currently am a barista but don’t work shifts longer than 4 hours! So I have plenty of time to prioritize your pet and make sure he or she gets the love attention and exercise they require! In my apartment, I prioritize an active lifestyle for the dogs I care for. While I primarily focus on walking, my space is set up with everything a dog needs, since I have one of my own. Although I don’t have a backyard, I love spending time outdoors, ensuring your pup gets plenty of fresh air and exercise during our walks and playtime.
About: I have grown up around and taken care of dogs, cats, and reptiles. I love animals and am confident, intuitive, and at ease around them. I am responsible and can adapt to whatever needs you pet may have. I am patient, reliable, and caring and you can trust me to take care of your pets as I would my own, so you can have peace of mind when you are away from home. I am currently working part-time and have plenty of time and flexibility Ito devote to your pet and house-sitting needs. I am very responsible, and when I have pets under my care, I prioritize them above everything else. Something important to note about my WEEKEND SCHEDULE DURING THE WINTER SEASON ONLY. I coach snowboarding ONLY on Saturday and Sunday from 9-2:30. I am available for walks and drop-ins outside of these hours. I am available to housesit on the weekends as well, as long as your pet has a doggy door or can stay on their own for that period of time. After coaching, I can give my full attention to your pet. If you have questions, please reach out to me! During the week M-F, I am available full-time for house sitting/pet sitting and drop-ins! I am responsible and will be respectful of your home when I am taking care of your pets and housesitting. You can trust me to take care of your pets and your space as if it were my own.
“Shannon is amazing! She is so responsible and responsive to questions. Most of all she is very good with my dog. He is cautious of new people but she won his confidence! Highly recommend Shannon!”
“Laurie was great! She sent so many photos of Breck and made us feel that she was well taken care of. She also followed all of our requests and went above and beyond. I know our pup is in good hands with Laurie and we will be using her again!”
