About: Ever since I can remember, I’ve been surrounded by animals. Growing up with three large dogs and two cats gave me a strong foundation in animal care and a lifelong love for pets. When caring for a pet in your home, I like to do a meet and greet with the dog first if that is a possibility. I listen well to instructions and will ensure your dog has the best walk, time or visit I can provide! I have had dogs ranging from large Bernese mountain dogs like my own to a small maltepoo (my parents dog) who has an extremely sensitive stomach and requires extra attention. I also volunteered at the SPCA in San Francisco for 3 years and the Dumb Friends League in Denver for 4 years which gave me exposure to handling dogs from all walks of life - some of them easy and mellow, others extremely shy and required gentle handling and patience, while others were aggressive and required someone who understands how to calm and work with an aggressive dog. I've cared for my own dogs, roommates' dogs, friends' pets, Trusted Housesitter stays, and Rover sits over the past 10 years. I've cared for dogs from puppyhood to 13 years old. I can take them to the dog park or on hikes, or if they're good with bikes, I can take them on even longer run/bike rides. I am very respectful and clean when staying at a client's house. I treat it like my own (if not better). I love going for walks with your pup and keeping them on a leash. I also don't give in to the cute puppy eyes when I'm eating my food and keep them to their parents' approved food and treats.

I live in a 2br 2bath apartment with a small patio. The dog parks close by as well as lots of places to walk around town. I take my own dog Ulysses to Crown mtn park, Basalt mtn, or up by Sopris at least once a day. The Rio Grande trail is right by my place as well.

I'm available for morning and evening care, overnight stays at your place, and drop-ins during the day. Just tell me your pet's routine and we'll find a rhythm that works for both of us. In your home, I respect your space completely. I follow your instructions to the letter, keep doors and gates secured, stick to your pet's normal routine, and leave things exactly the way I found them. I'll send photos and updates at each visit so you always know your pet is safe, fed, and happy. I'm careful with the little things that matter: locking up when I leave, bringing in mail or packages if you'd like, and watching for anything off with your pet's behavior or health so I can flag it early. If something ever comes up, you'll hear from me right away. Above all, I treat every pet like my own and every home like I'd want mine treated, with care, respect, and attention to detail.
About: I worked at an animal rescue that taught me about dog’s personalities, body language, and overall how to be caring, loving and patient with them! I have a part time job and also have a couple college classes but it does not affect my time with dogs in my care. The doggie will always get long walks and cuddles from me! At my home pets will get there time outside in my fenced yard to potty and play. Inside we can cuddle and hang out! Overall they will get the love and care needed.
About: I’ve owned and trained two dogs from puppyhood—a Husky and my current German Wirehaired Pointer, Lenny. Training and building a strong relationship with my dogs has always been important to me. Having lived in the Roaring Fork Valley for over 12 years, I spend most of my time outdoors hiking, walking, and exploring. About: I have taken care of all kinds of dogs and cats for the past 8 years. Including some who needed extra care. I’m happy to help anyone in need and make sure their pets get all my love and attention.
