About: I’ve been caring for fur babies since I graduated high school, giving both puppies and senior dogs the special attention they need. I love animals of every shape and size and treat them like my own—because let’s be honest, they run the household anyway. About: I strive to treat everyone's furbabies with the highest level of care as if they're my own. I've cared for every age of dog and cat for...really my whole life. I can administer medications and keep an eye on and assist more "special needs" furbabies if needed. I am a Biology major and try to learn as much as I can to care for animals the best I possibly can. I am currently working on animal first aid but I do know human FA so I can spot an emergency and care for minor wounds. I am currently working as needed at my job but, even then, my days are really open. I do have medical appointments here and there so sometimes I just need to leave the house for those but I try to return to the house expeditiously because I dont want the animals to be alone for too long. I understand not leaving dogs (especially) for too long between potty breaks so I can work around that but I try to stay at the house for 95+ percent of the time I am sitting. I purposely work around the animal's schedule so that they can be as comfortable and cared for as possible. I try to get as much information from the owner as possible so that I can make the time as similar to when the owner is around. I know changes can be stressful so avoiding any as much as possible is the best. I am known to be a cuddler but if they want their space I can definitely give it. I can give outside time to the best of my abilities and can transport in my own car with great safety if needed (e.g. if they love lake play, etc.). For younger animals, I can give regular care and make sure the space stays clean and cared for as best as possible. I understand that they need more supervision and help. I also try my best to keep an eye on outdoor heavy animals and shy animals to make sure theyre doing alright during my stay as well.

I have a Chihuahua mix of my own that I rescued in 2020, and he is such a sweetheart and a major lover of cuddling. During my downtime, I can be found reading, hiking, cleaning, or doing yoga. For a small additional fee, I would love to help you with any other needs you may have, such as house work, organizing, cleaning, or light yardwork. I strive to meet all the needs and desires of your fur bab. From walks, to hikes, to overnight stays, I aim to make myself available! I work in an office setting M-Th 8a-5p, but I typically have flexibility with many breaks and a long lunch. I work from home on Fridays. About twice a month, I am on-call on the weekends (8a-8p), and will provide more details if that overlaps with your booking. I live in Rifle, so I offer drop-in visits and dog walking from Glenwood Springs to Parachute. For overnight stays, I will travel from Aspen to Grand Junction. I have a fenced yard for potty breaks, and a doggy door that leads to my little yard. My dog doesn’t use the doggy door, so I am happy to keep it closed if that is your preference. I love to go on walks with dogs, and will walk them for whatever amount of time they are used to or suits their energy level. I have a sweet, small dog that is friendly to all animals he meets. He will play with your pet, or give your pet space, he is happy either way.

About: Hey, I’m Marie (and my husband Loki also pet sits with me) and we’d love the chance to spend time with your pets! We have pet sat many dogs of all ages and sizes over the years, from rescues to purebreds, young and old. We are active people who love going outside for walks and hikes as much as we love cuddles from furry friends. We sit at your house, or board pets in our own home with a shaded fenced in yard. I hope you’ll choose us to spend some time caring for and loving your pets! Hope to hear from you! Please note we do pet sit multiple dogs at a time. Some days we have up to 12 or 15 dogs when it’s extremely busy. I work from home and usually am not out of the house for longer than 1-2 hours, at most 4-5 hours. Loki husband doesn’t start working until 3pm most days so your pets have us home a lot! In our home: we have a doggie door and fenced in yard. We only accept dogs at are friendly with others at this time, because we often watch more than one dog at a time. Up to 15. In your home: about the same as above! My husband and I will usually stay at your home together and will try to leave it cleaner than we found it. We pull sheets and get the load started so when you get home, your pup is happy, and you only have to transfer the sheets to the dryer. We consider ourselves great guests and have gotten great feedback from owners happy to come back to a clean house.

About: I have grown up with always having animals around. I have lived on multiple farms, and have volunteered with several animal sanctuaries, including one for wildlife in Costa Rica. I also have spent the last five years fostering animals with the Humane society as I lived in Asheville and completed my schooling. Through this experience, I have worked with neonatal newborns, pregnant and nursing mothers, potty training- ages, senior pets, and those who take medication. As I create this account, I am traveling and petsitting on the road. My schedule is very flexible because of this, and so I am open to long or short stays. About: I’ve owned and trained two dogs from puppyhood—a Husky and my current German Wirehaired Pointer, Lenny. Training and building a strong relationship with my dogs has always been important to me. Having lived in the Roaring Fork Valley for over 12 years, I spend most of my time outdoors hiking, walking, and exploring. When your pup stays with me—whether for an hour, a day, or overnight—you can count on them getting plenty of exercise, fresh air, and attention. They’ll come home happy, tired, and ready to snuggle. I work from home so I usually get out for a walk or run in the morning. Afternoon jont to split up the day and then an evening activity depending on what is on the schedule. I have a fenced backyard and Lenny (my pup) to add to the fun. She’s a great companion to other dogs but also great for training.

About: I’ve spent my entire life around animals from dogs and cats, to horses, goats, and chickens, providing consistent care for everyone from energetic puppies to sweet seniors needing extra TLC. I offer the best of both worlds: I’m an active person who loves hiking and long walks, but I’m just as happy to enjoy a quiet day at home with your pups. I can’t wait to meet your dog! For daycare and boarding I’m primarily available Friday through Sunday, however, I often have flexibility on Thursdays and Mondays, just send me a message and I’ll do my best to make it work! For dog walks I’m available all day Friday through Sunday, and Monday through Thursday after 5pm. I will always adjust my care routine to your dog’s likes and needs. Whether at my house or yours, and based on your dog’s needs, I like to be available for 2 long walks a day, supplemented with shorter potty breaks in between. I also believe that everyday should include time for your dog to do something they love (hikes, fetch, puzzle toys, dog park, etc.).

About: I am based in Carbondale, CO. I am currently pet/house sitting full time throughout the summer so I'm able to provide a high level of care for pets and homes throughout the valley! I've cared for my own dogs, roommates' dogs, friends' pets, Trusted Housesitter stays, and Rover sits over the past 10 years. I've cared for dogs from puppyhood to 13 years old. I've also cat-sat for friends, Trusted Housesitters, and Rover clients over the years. I'm happy to take them on walks, hikes, dog parks, and potty/play breaks throughout the day. The longest I've watched someone's pet was for 2 months, and I loved it! I'm also happy to take them camping if that's their jam. Feel free to reach out with any other questions! A note on transportation - I have a regular vehicle (Subaru Outback) in addition to my ambulance camper. I also have a bike I often enjoy cycling throughout the valley, so parking availability at your home should not be an issue. I currently am full time pet sitting for the summer. I am very attentive and love morning, midday, fetch, and evening walks. I can take them to the dog park or on hikes, or if they're good with bikes, I can take them on even longer run/bike rides. I am very respectful and clean when staying at a client's house. I treat it like my own (if not better). I love going for walks with your pup and keeping them on a leash. I also don't give in to the cute puppy eyes when I'm eating my food and keep them to their parents' approved food and treats.
