About: I've had pets since I was little. My passion is to love on the four-leggeds as if they were my own. I am there to help your pets when you need to be away from them. I am solely in the business of caring for animals. I am very flexible. Don't be afraid to ask and I will tell you if I can't make it work. I will treat your home as if it were my own. My clients comment how most of the time they can't tell I've been there as I leave my surroundings in very good condition.

Natalie did a wonderful job taking care of my cats for two weeks, with stop in visits! My cats were well taken care of, and Natalie was always consistent with her schedule and with sent several pics and an update each day with a Rover Postcard. Natalie is professional, reliable, thoughtful and a great communicator. I hope to hire Natalie again.

About: I live on a 16-acre farm, making it extra safe for your fur babies. I'm home full-time, so I can give them my full attention and love. I walk them on our property where they can enjoy a creek and lots of space to play. My kiddos and I love throwing the ball, playing fetch, and giving lots of snuggles. I have loved animals since I was a little girl and my kiddos do, too. I’ve had turtles, hamsters, dogs, cats, hermit crabs, fish, and a super-special fish named Superman, whom I even took to college with me. If you need something last minute, please don’t hesitate to reach out. If you need help with pickup, I can help with that as well. If you will be leaving for a long period of time, I can help with that, too. I am home and happy to help in any way possible and I will love your fur baby like they are my own 🐾❤️ I don't just provide basic supervision and love; I offer tailored care for pets at opposite ends of the age spectrum. I have experience managing the energy of puppies, utilizing positive reinforcement to maintain your potty training and crate routines. Equally, I am deeply patient with senior pets who need slow-paced walks, joint support, and are on a medication schedule. I’m happy to help with~ • Perfect Day-Care Solution for Glenwood Caverns & Hot Springs Visitors •Overnight dog stay • Weekend pet care • Extended stays (month or more) • Holiday stay (Memorial Day, Easter, Christmas, Thanksgiving, Labor Day, ect.) • Last-minute bookings • Vacation care 🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾 I have a small farm in New Castle and I am happy to watch your fur baby while you work or go on vacation. I have traveled before and I know the stress that can be added when there isn’t a safe place for our fur babies to go. I am excited to help take the pressure off and love on your fur baby while you are gone. Peace of mind, love, and safety are my priorities. I am home full-time too. Whether your dog needs medication, extra patience, or just lots of love, they'll be cared for as if they were my own 🐾

About: I’ve been pet sitting for years, starting back in my teens, and I’m comfortable caring for a wide range of animals including dogs and cats. I have experience with both puppies and senior pets, including those who need extra attention like medication administration (including insulin) and more structured care routines. I’m reliable, attentive, and treat every animal like they’re my own. Whether it’s walks, feeding, training support for young dogs, or gentle care for older pets, I adjust to each animal’s needs. I’m also happy to take care of small extras like watering plants or keeping an eye on your home while you’re away, so you can come back to everything in good shape. I work a full-time job, but I’m able to come home during my lunch break to check in on my own puppy and provide mid-day care. This keeps me consistently involved in daily pet care even during the workweek. At this time, I am only offering weekend availability for boarding, so I’m fully available to focus on providing attentive, structured care during those stays. I make sure pets are comfortable, on their normal routines, and well cared for while they’re with me. When boarding a dog in my home, I do my best to accommodate their normal routine and make them feel as comfortable as possible, like they’re at home. I have a fenced-in yard, and my own puppy enjoys plenty of outdoor playtime, so dogs who are active will get lots of safe exercise and enrichment. If a dog is more of a relaxed, homebody type, I’m just as happy to keep things calm with indoor time, rest, and companionship. I adjust to each dog’s personality and energy level. For any care—whether boarding, drop-ins, or walks—I follow the owner’s instructions closely, including feeding schedules, routines, and any special needs or medications, to make sure each pet is cared for consistently and safely.

About: I've cared for animals my whole life: dogs, cats, rats, parrots, fish, and more. Right now I share my home with three senior cats I adore, so I'm right at home with pets who need a little extra patience, a medication schedule, or just someone who reads their quirks and knows when 'she's hiding' means she's fine and when it doesn't. Whatever your pet needs, I've got it covered: feeding and fresh water, meds and pills (even the sneaky ones), playtime and walks, litter and cleanup, and overnight stays so they're never alone. I'm reliable, I show up when I say I will, and I'll send you photos and updates so you can actually relax while you're away. I'm always happy to start with a meet-and-greet so you and your pet can get comfortable with me before booking anything. Tell me your pet's routine and I'll keep it exactly the way they like it. Senior pets, anxious pets, shy pets, high-energy pets, and the occasional exotic are all welcome. I'd love to help take care of your best friend like they're my own. I do part-time software work from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time for pet care throughout the day. Since I'm home for much of the day, I can handle midday visits, feedings, and check-ins that a 9-to-5 sitter can't. I'm available for morning and evening care, overnight stays at your place, and drop-ins during the day. Just tell me your pet's routine and we'll find a rhythm that works for both of us. In your home, I respect your space completely. I follow your instructions to the letter, keep doors and gates secured, stick to your pet's normal routine, and leave things exactly the way I found them. I'll send photos and updates at each visit so you always know your pet is safe, fed, and happy. I'm careful with the little things that matter: locking up when I leave, bringing in mail or packages if you'd like, and watching for anything off with your pet's behavior or health so I can flag it early. If something ever comes up, you'll hear from me right away. Above all, I treat every pet like my own and every home like I'd want mine treated, with care, respect, and attention to detail.

About: I’ve grown up with all sorts of dogs differing in size from chihuahuas to golden doodles. Within the past two years I started pet sitting for a friend while she was on vacation (six dachshunds) and loved it enough to make it my side hobby! I’m currently a full time College student taking online courses at CMC, so I’ll have plenty of spare time to care for your animals throughout the day/week! While my pets are allowed to roam our property as much as they please under constant supervision, I completely understand that some fur-baby’s are runners and must stay on the leash or in a fenced in areas. I’m completely flexible to any requirements or concerns you have for your fur-baby!

About: I’ve had lots of pets growing up, a variety of different dogs big and small, and some cats as well. I currently have two dogs and often pet sit for family and friends, and I also work at a doggy daycare! Although I do have more experience with dogs, I love all animals and can absolutely take care of any animals and needs they may have. I currently work a full time job as a dog daycare attendant, and my days off include Mondays and Tuesdays. My hours vary, but usually range from 7am-3pm or 2:30-8:30pm. My shifts are often shorter but expect at last two days where I work 8 hours. If I’m staying for over a week, I could even possibly bring your dog to work with me given you would want that and they are friendly! I have a decent sized yard with a fence and make sure to keep water bowls full with how hot it has been. I take my doggos for walks or even car rides when its not too hot outside, and I would definitely do the same for your doggos! Any specific care requests, like maybe your doggo has to be tucked in, or need to watch their food be “prepared” in order for them to eat it, I will do so with pleasure! Oh and of course, lots of love and play time, given thats what they want!

About: I have years of experience taking care of both dogs and cats. I was the main person to take care of both a cat and dog growing up starting when I was ten. I currently have two dogs, but I also love cats! My wife is a veterinarian, so I am around a lot of animals and am prepared in case of an emergency (hopefully there aren't any). Being a teacher, I have summers off and am looking for dogs to walk or check in on during the day or cats to check in on. I am currently not available to stay overnight as I also have a baby at home. I am a compassionate and caring person, which is the first thing that your dog or cat will notice about me. I will check in on them and spend time with them to make sure everything is going great when you are gone!

About: Hi! I’m Christina, an experienced pet care professional with years of hands-on experience working with dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. As a professional dog groomer, I’ve learned how to read canine body language, build trust with nervous pets, and provide calm, patient, individualized care. Whether your pup loves long walks, playing fetch, hiking, or simply curling up on the couch for cuddles, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and right at home while you’re away. I treat every pet as if they were my own, and I know how important it is to keep you updated, so you can expect plenty of photos and messages throughout their stay. I’m comfortable administering medications, following detailed care instructions, and caring for puppies, senior dogs, and pets with special needs. My goal is to give your pet a fun, stress-free experience while giving you complete peace of mind. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry family members! I currently work full time at a grooming salon in ocean springs, yet my schedule is flexible to be able to take your pet on walks, play time or to be able to do drop in. Safety, trust & environment are big things in the relationship with your pet care provider. I plan to write everything you tell me down along with making copies to ensure I have all the information on your pet at all times. I also believe in sending plenty of pictures & videos of your pet to ensure that trust is built.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in New Castle. On Rover:

  • 95% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 95% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
