“I've booked Suzanne twice now--she's an excellent, communicative, and caring sitter. It's so nice to know that your pet is in good hands while you're away. I highly recommend Suzanne to anyone looking for a sitter!”

About: Hi! I’m Aspen and I’m an upcoming senior at CSU! I’ve grown up with dogs and cats in my family, so caring for animals has always been part of my life. I’ve helped with feeding, walking, playtime, and caring, especially for my current senior dog Bailey. I’m very responsible, patient, and truly love being around animals. They always put a smile on my face. I’ll care for your pets like they’re my own! Please don’t hesitate to ask any questions you may have :) I’m going to be working part-time this summer but my schedule is still pretty open especially on weekends (Fridays and Sundays specifically). During the week if I’m working I can still do services late afternoon! I am located in New Castle but am willing to travel up to Gwood/Carbondale or Basalt. My home doesn’t have a fenced yard, so for safety and comfort, I’d prefer to care for pets in their own home or take them on walks/hikes or fun outings. I’d make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and affection, and I will always prioritize the owner’s routines closely. I want to make sure they feel calm and cared for while you’re away!

“We are so grateful for Sarah and the care they gave our dogs! We have two pups who don’t always get along, and she handled them with so much patience, understanding, and skill. It gave us real peace of mind knowing they were in such capable hands. Sarah kept us updated, followed our instructions carefully, and clearly made the effort to get to know each dog individually. We could tell our dogs felt comfortable and cared for. We would absolutely recommend her to anyone—especially those with pets that have a bit more complex personalities. Thank you again!”

“Raquel was excellent! She dropped in to take my dog on walks to the dog park each day and was there at the prearranged time we had discussed for each day. She sent me pictures of my dog playing with other dogs which I always enjoy seeing. Raquel was also flexible when my schedule changed and that was very helpful for us.”

About: I have grown up with all kinds of animals my whole life, mainly being dogs & cats, (small, medium and large) so I know exactly how to take care of them! I am super attentive to animals and my surroundings so if you have puppies they never be chewing on anything besides toys. I love to work with and take care of animals. I would love to help someone out and give them the love, time and assistance that their pet needs. Whether it’s walks, house sitting or just some play time. And I truly feel that more times than not we need animals more than they need us. I am really just a girl who has a massive heart for your furry companions, feel free to contact me with any questions! I’m currently working a freelance position so I have plenty of time to devote and play with your pups! I’m available on weekends to pet sit and can do most week days depending on work but always reach out! I would treat them as my own with love and compassion but make sure they are behaving. They would be allowed couch and bed cuddles (if owner approves)

“Nicholas was great! Very quick to respond and my dog liked him right away during the meet and greet when Nicholas did a great job making Dually comfortable and happy. Vist notes were detailed and I felt like Dually was well taken care of while I was away.”

“Truely amazing sitter! Detailed updates at every visit. Variety of playtime even with her kids to wear out our active dog. Always on time & attention to any request. You can easily tell the care for our pet & respect for our house is genuine.”

“Jake always takes the best pics. He is reliable and super-friendly.”

“Kat was awesome! She checked up and took care of my furry boys (2 cats) while I was out of town for a week and a half. She sent me updates and photos after every check in. Kat is very dependable and friendly to animals. I highly recommend Kat to pet sit your little loved ones!”

About: I have several years caring for dogs, cats, horses, reptiles, birds, you name it! I love all animals and seem to have a special bond with them. I am really good with timid and elderly pets, and always make sure they are as comfortable as can be. I currently work part time in a professional grooming salon bathing and training to groom dogs. I will have plenty of time in the afternoons and weekends to spend time with your fur babies. I am respectful and responsible when I visit your home. I will make sure your baby will get the right amount of potty breaks, on time feeding and meet all their needs. I love to get outside, go on hikes and visit the river. When available, I have a safe, fenced in 3 acres for playtime and sniffing. I have 3 friendly dogs but also have the ability to separate when needed.

“Windsor was wonderful! Daily check-ins to let us know how our cats were doing which kept us at ease the whole trip! Our cats ended up eating better for her than they ever do with us!”

“Claire was very professional, caring, and very well organized. She asked many questions that were important that we hadn't thought of and did a great job keeping us informed. She clearly loves dogs and even though our dog can sometimes be standoffish to new people, Claire was great with her and they became great friends. I would recommend Claire to ANYONE in need of the services she provides.”

“Jovany was great with our pups and went the extra mile to help us. We came from out of town and didn’t know we weren’t allowed to have pets unattended so we were so excited to see that Rover could help us get to the hot springs. We’re so thankful and will use this service and hopefully Jovany again!”

“Katrina is the best! My dogs loved having her come over, and she took excellent care of them. I would definitely recommend, and will use her services again next time I go away.”

“Paige was great! She was very communicative and took great care of my (slightly skittish) dog! Paige made me feel very comfortable that my dog was well taken care of while I was out of town!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs and cats of my own for the past 18 years, and offering services on Rover since 2021. I love going for long walks with the pups and cuddling with kitties. My last pooch crossed the rainbow bridge at 14 years, so I am familiar with senior dog care and administering topical and oral medications. I’m home on weekends, and working a 9-5 during the week. Dogs who are not kid friendly would be more of a challenge, but feel free to message and we can see how to make it work. I have a 2 year old tuxedo cat named BingBong at my home in New Castle and 1/2 custody of a very friendly 5 year old lab/Australian shepherd mix dog named Onyx. I work a full time 9-5 Monday through Friday, but happy to stop by before and after work. My schedule is pretty open on the weekends! I prefer drop in visits and walks in your pet’s home, environment with limited availability for boarding, house sitting, and doggie day care upon request.

“Marie is fantastic. She came by to meet Jasper before our scheduled drop in days and really took the time to get acquainted with him. She is extremely responsive and trustworthy..and also a dog whisperer! She sends updates and pictures and loves taking Jasper on adventures. I highly recommend Marie.”

“I've booked Suzanne twice now--she's an excellent, communicative, and caring sitter. It's so nice to know that your pet is in good hands while you're away. I highly recommend Suzanne to anyone looking for a sitter!”

Aspen S.
“Aspen is my daughter and I’m happy to write a reference for her in regards to why I believe without a doubt, she would be a great choice for a pet sitter as well as house sitter. We have had numerous dogs and cats Aspen’s entire life and she has growing up taking care of multiple animals, including feeding, potty time, play time, daily affection, vet visits, and growing up, watching me train the dogs, as well as the cats as we had very well behaved animals her whole life. Aspen is kind, responsible, detail oriented, and very trustworthy. She is a senior in college and has achieved over a 4.0 her entire academic experience. I only mentioned this because she is a perfectionist and would follow someone’s needs for their animal care needs absolutely as directed with kindness and a genuine love for animals. Growing up Aspen helped take care of our Labrador and our Husky which both lived to 14 years of age, two Chihuahuas, one of which we still have who is 12 years of age, a boxer, who recently passed away at 13 years of age, and three kitties two of which we still have as well. Our pets always have been and always will be an actual part of our family, and being raised this way is another strong reason why I feel Aspen would be a great choice as a pet sitter house sitter as she would view it as taking special care of someone else’s family member just as we do in our own household,”
