We couldn’t have asked for better caregivers for our fur baby Conan! They not only took care of his physical needs, but also his emotional needs. ( thunderstorm support!) In addition, Chris and Laura provided regular updates and photos during his stay, which gave us peace of mind. We feel blessed to have found them, especially with us being new to the area. We will definitely recommend them, as well as continue to take Conan to them in the future. We would rate them as 10 stars if we could! Brian and Evie Novak

Michael is a very nice person who took in my 2 small dogs last minute while we were visiting Glenwood Springs for a family weekend getaway. My dogs were stressed out staying at a hotel and I needed to find a sitter fast. Michael greeted us outside of his very nice community located right near the Colorado river. He was very welcoming and patient and gave excellent care to my dogs. He followed all of my care instructions and my pups were happy and wagging when I picked them up. I would highly recommend him to watch your pets!

Charlotte was so great with our dog. He is usually very wary of new people, but he warmed up to Charlotte and the others in the house quickly and easily. I would definitely feel great about leaving him in her care again.

Bonus- she is a professional pet groomer! I will do everything I can to accommodate your pets specific needs. I’m able to feed, walk, give meds and plenty of love! My animals are allowed on beds and couches at my house but I can keep to whatever your preferences are in your home.

About: I have owned dogs for over 10+ years. I have experience with senior care (from my own baby girl that passed in December of 2025). I will always love your fur babies as my own. Dogs mean the world to me. I work full time from home, which means I can let them potty as often as they need to be let out. We live near two little lakes, so I can take them on scenic walks outside to enjoy fresh air on my lunches or after work. I am a pretty active person, so if they are an active pup, I can work with that. If they prefer to be more chill & not as active, I can also do that. I don't have a fenced yard, but it's not a problem to let them out to potty, or to go for walks. Dogs are welcome on the furniture. Please let me know your pups bedtime/morning schedules! I can also learn to do injections if needed, or any other medication administration - if you just show me how you normally do it. I would love to also send you all the updates you could possibly want & photos while they are in my care.

Megan was wonderful to our dog, who is older and needs special attention. She sent lots of photos and updates to ease our minds while being away. We could tell when we picked him up, that he was well taken care of and content. I highly recommend her, and will definitely take our dog to her again when we're in her area.

I treat each dog like part of my family and focus on creating a safe, calm, and fun environment while their owners are away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, allowing me to provide consistent attention, companionship, and care throughout the day. I have a flexible schedule and can accommodate feeding times, walks, play sessions, potty breaks, and any special care instructions your pet may need. I enjoy spending time with animals and make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while in my care. Whether it's a quick drop-in visit, daily walks, or overnight care, I am committed to keeping your pet happy, comfortable, and following their usual routine as closely as possible. My pup has separation anxiety. I left her with this wonderful family for 4 days. She assimilated right into the family. Lu, Alejandra and Valentina gave her all the love she needed. Walks to and from school, time for play in dog park, rides in the car on family expeditions and lots of snuggles. I did not see any sign of the usual stress when I picked her up. YES I recommend them - Lu is a family package. Wonderful.

About: I have several years caring for dogs, cats, horses, reptiles, birds, you name it! I love all animals and seem to have a special bond with them. I am really good with timid and elderly pets, and always make sure they are as comfortable as can be. I currently work part time as a dog groomer. I will have plenty of time in the early afternoons and weekends to spend time with your fur babies. I am insured! I am respectful and responsible when I visit your home. I will make sure your baby will get the right amount of potty breaks, on time feeding and meet all of their needs. I love to get outside, go on hikes and visit the river. When available, I have a safe, fenced in 3 acre yard for playtime, running, ball throwing and sniffing. I have 3 friendly dogs to play with, but I do have the ability to separate them in a different area when needed. All dogs are allowed inside the house as well.

Nevada will treat your pet like her own, providing lots of love and exercise! Birdie always comes home happy and smiling!

About: I have a lifetime of experience caring for both dogs and cats, and I understand that every animal has unique needs, personalities, and routines. I’ve worked with pets of many different temperaments, behavioral challenges, and health conditions, so I’m comfortable adapting my care to ensure each pet feels safe, understood, and well cared for. I approach every sitting opportunity with a strong sense of responsibility and professionalism, while also providing genuine love, patience, and attention. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, senior, or requires extra care, I strive to create a positive and comfortable experience for both you and your pet. I am currently working in healthcare Monday-Friday 7am-4pm so weekdays are best for evening sitting or boarding pets that can handle being alone for that time. I am completely free on the weekends. I am an early riser and love to get out and enjoy the sunshine with a pet but am happy to stay close to home for pet needs. I do prefer to walk on leash as I don’t have a fenced in area and do like to ensure safety of the pets I care for and others around. There is a fenced in dog park a short walk from my apartment to let dogs run off leash if approved by owner. I don’t have any pets in my home so if I am to sit at my residence the pet would be in a secure and private environment. I keep a clean and safe household for all types of pets. I also am respectful and receptive to all household and pet needs on an individual basis.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - New Castle

Echo loved staying with Mae and her furry friends. Echo is a timid dog and Mae gave her the time and space to get comfortable and by the end Echo had made a new vest friend. Mae had excellent communication with frequent pictures/videos and updates. I have never used this service before but after my experience with Mae I would absolutely ask her to take care of Echo again.

  • Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
