“We were extremely lucky to have found Chris & Laura on Rover. They took care of our Laborador and treated him like he was king of the house. We received lots of pictures and updates which made us extremely happy and able to relax and enjoy our time away. We will definitely have Chris & Laura watch our baby again!”

“Charlotte was so great with our dog. He is usually very wary of new people, but he warmed up to Charlotte and the others in the house quickly and easily. I would definitely feel great about leaving him in her care again.”

“Suzanne was wonderful in accommodating a last minute request for care. She was super flexible on time and pickup and was very attentive. She took Bodee on many walks and adventures while in her care and even sent pics. 10/10 experience and highly recommend.”

“Mae is truly a dog whisperer. From the second we dropped off our dog Sasha, we knew she was in loving hands. Mae kept us updated the entire time with photos and messages, and you could just feel how much she genuinely cared. Sasha is usually shy and nervous around other dogs, but somehow she instantly connected with Mae’s two pups who were so calm and friendly. That alone speaks volumes. Mae followed all our instructions, fed Sasha just right, took her to the park, and made sure she felt right at home. Her space is warm, clean, and set up perfectly for dogs to feel safe and relaxed. You can tell Mae puts her whole heart into this. We are so grateful we found her and would absolutely trust her with Sasha again. If you’re looking for someone who will love your dog like their own, Mae is the one. Thank you Mae! You’re amazing!”

“Marie was fabulous! Our dog, Lannister, had the best time being spoiled by her. Loved the photos and the daily updates. We can’t say enough good about our experience with Marie! We will use Marie again and again!”

“David was very kind with Trigger and when we picked Trigger up we could tell he was very well taken care of. We travel a lot and are thankful for people like David. We would definitely recommend David to anyone needing their boarded. Would give 10 stars if we could!!!”

“Kirsten and her family were very easy to work with. Our puppy had a great stay with them and seemed to really enjoy the company of Hank. We would book with Kirsten again.”

About: I’ve owned and trained two dogs from puppyhood—a Husky and my current German Wirehaired Pointer, Lenny. Training and building a strong relationship with my dogs has always been important to me. Having lived in the Roaring Fork Valley for over 12 years, I spend most of my time outdoors hiking, walking, and exploring. When your pup stays with me—whether for an hour, a day, or overnight—you can count on them getting plenty of exercise, fresh air, and attention. They’ll come home happy, tired, and ready to snuggle. I work from home so I usually get out for a walk or run in the morning. Afternoon jont to split up the day and then an evening activity depending on what is on the schedule. I have a fenced backyard and Lenny (my pup) to add to the fun. She’s a great companion to other dogs but also great for training.
“My pup has separation anxiety. I left her with this wonderful family for 4 days. She assimilated right into the family. Lu, Alejandra and Valentina gave her all the love she needed. Walks to and from school, time for play in dog park, rides in the car on family expeditions and lots of snuggles. I did not see any sign of the usual stress when I picked her up. YES I recommend them - Lu is a family package. Wonderful.”

About: I grew up on an Ohio farm with border collies. Family and friends trust me to take care of their puppers and cats while they travel. I currently live in a house that also has a fenced in back yard. While I take care of your pet, you can count on pictures of them! I work 2/3 overnight shifts a week with an adult with autism. I am typically more available on Wednesday through Saturday. But I am willing to do more if my schedule allows more! Don’t hesitate to reach out. I have a huge fenced in backyard in Carbondale. I have one 6 month old Australian Shepherd. I also have a car and am willing to drive to provide convenience and care.
“Chonlada and her boyfriend took such good care of our puppy during our vacation. She sent us great photos of the fun they had together and our pup was so happy and healthy when we picked her up. She had a great backyard to run around in and another sweet dog to play with. I would definitely recommend Chonlada for her amazing care. Thank you!”

“C était une première fois pour ma part que j’en faisais garder ma chienne par une inconnue mais je dois dire que Claire est d une gentillesse incroyable et elle sait nous rassurer en nous envoyant régulièrement des photos de notre chien . Elle est passionnée ! Merci encore Claire !”

Mae is gentle and kind. Minnie is a delicate senior miniature dachshund who thrived while Mae took her into her home as I travelled. Minnie fit in right away. Mae’s photos reassured me all was well. I could see Minnie was on alert at first, then saw her relax and enjoy her stay. So thankful!
