About: A lifetime dog-lover! Volunteer dog walker at Colorado Animal Rescue. Have been a proud owner of Labrador retrievers and a basenji! Dog walking is my sole pursuit, so you can expect wide availability: 7 days a week from dawn to dusk. Walk at the dog's preferred pace -- happily jog with a dog needing a higher level of activity. Expect me to follow these rules to keep your dog safe and healthy: - Maintain your dog on leash always. - Avoid contact with people and other dogs. - Small treats are provided only to reward desired behavior -- unless the owner specifies no treats. - Have fun! Always! I love dog-walking so much that I am happy to walk your dog any time from sunrise to sunset, seven days a week including holidays! I invite pets into my home and am always happy to visit with your dog in your home. I will keep the dog safe, stick closely to the dog’s normal routine, and respect the home as if it were my own. About: I have grown up with always having animals around. I have lived on multiple farms, and have volunteered with several animal sanctuaries, including one for wildlife in Costa Rica. I also have spent the last five years fostering animals with the Humane society as I lived in Asheville and completed my schooling. Through this experience, I have worked with neonatal newborns, pregnant and nursing mothers, potty training- ages, senior pets, and those who take medication. As I create this account, I am traveling and petsitting on the road. My schedule is very flexible because of this, and so I am open to long or short stays. About: I’ve owned and trained two dogs from puppyhood—a Husky and my current German Wirehaired Pointer, Lenny. Training and building a strong relationship with my dogs has always been important to me. Having lived in the Roaring Fork Valley for over 12 years, I spend most of my time outdoors hiking, walking, and exploring. When your pup stays with me—whether for an hour, a day, or overnight—you can count on them getting plenty of exercise, fresh air, and attention. They’ll come home happy, tired, and ready to snuggle. I work from home so I usually get out for a walk or run in the morning. Afternoon jont to split up the day and then an evening activity depending on what is on the schedule. I have a fenced backyard and Lenny (my pup) to add to the fun. She’s a great companion to other dogs but also great for training.

About: Hey, I’m Marie (and my husband Loki also pet sits with me) and we’d love the chance to spend time with your pets! We have pet sat many dogs of all ages and sizes over the years, from rescues to purebreds, young and old. We are active people who love going outside for walks and hikes as much as we love cuddles from furry friends. We sit at your house, or board pets in our own home with a shaded fenced in yard. I hope you’ll choose us to spend some time caring for and loving your pets! Hope to hear from you! Please note we do pet sit multiple dogs at a time. Some days we have up to 12 or 15 dogs when it’s extremely busy. I work from home and usually am not out of the house for longer than 1-2 hours, at most 4-5 hours. Loki husband doesn’t start working until 3pm most days so your pets have us home a lot! In our home: we have a doggie door and fenced in yard. We only accept dogs at are friendly with others at this time, because we often watch more than one dog at a time. Up to 15. In your home: about the same as above! My husband and I will usually stay at your home together and will try to leave it cleaner than we found it. We pull sheets and get the load started so when you get home, your pup is happy, and you only have to transfer the sheets to the dryer. We consider ourselves great guests and have gotten great feedback from owners happy to come back to a clean house.

About: Trustworthy and reliable human looking to take care of your precious pets! I have many years of experience in animal care and have two dogs of my own! I’m working a seasonal job at the ski resort but my spring and summer is going to be very open. I also have a retired mother who is at home full time and she is also looking for some extra work. Bonus- she is a professional pet groomer! I will do everything I can to accommodate your pets specific needs. I’m able to feed, walk, give meds and plenty of love! My animals are allowed on beds and couches at my house but I can keep to whatever your preferences are in your home.

I’m happy to help anyone in need and make sure their pets get all my love and attention. I’m currently a nursing student at the University of Tampa and am flexible with afternoons/mornings during the week. I am also available all day Friday-Sunday. For daycare and boarding I’m primarily available Friday through Sunday, however, I often have flexibility on Thursdays and Mondays, just send me a message and I’ll do my best to make it work! For dog walks I’m available all day Friday through Sunday, and Monday through Thursday after 5pm. I will always adjust my care routine to your dog’s likes and needs. Whether at my house or yours, and based on your dog’s needs, I like to be available for 2 long walks a day, supplemented with shorter potty breaks in between. I also believe that everyday should include time for your dog to do something they love (hikes, fetch, puzzle toys, dog park, etc.).

About: I’ve had several dogs since I was a kid. Currently we have 4, including one puppy. I’m used to taking care of all dog personalities, like nervous puppies, grouchy old dogs, and hyper pups. I work occasional nights about twice a week from 4:30-10 at a restaurant. I would be out of the house at that time, but I often get cut early so we can further discuss when booking. I am comfortable crating dogs. I am also used to administering pills to dogs and cats, even those who don’t love to take their medication.

At times, life got a little too busy for me to continue with this enjoyable “work”, but now I am able to re-cultivate this passion once again. From walking your dog, to taking them on adventures and hikes, to overnight stays, I am available for your precious pet’s need. I have a Chihuahua mix of my own that I rescued in 2020, and he is such a sweetheart and a major lover of cuddling. During my downtime, I can be found reading, hiking, cleaning, or doing yoga. For a small additional fee, I would love to help you with any other needs you may have, such as house work, organizing, cleaning, or light yardwork. I strive to meet all the needs and desires of your fur bab. From walks, to hikes, to overnight stays, I aim to make myself available! I work in an office setting M-Th 8a-5p, but I typically have flexibility with many breaks and a long lunch. I work from home on Fridays. About twice a month, I am on-call on the weekends (8a-8p), and will provide more details if that overlaps with your booking. I live in Rifle, so I offer drop-in visits and dog walking from Glenwood Springs to Parachute. For overnight stays, I will travel from Aspen to Grand Junction. I have a fenced yard for potty breaks, and a doggy door that leads to my little yard. My dog doesn’t use the doggy door, so I am happy to keep it closed if that is your preference. I love to go on walks with dogs, and will walk them for whatever amount of time they are used to or suits their energy level. I have a sweet, small dog that is friendly to all animals he meets. He will play with your pet, or give your pet space, he is happy either way.
