If a dog is more of a relaxed, homebody type, I’m just as happy to keep things calm with indoor time, rest, and companionship. I adjust to each dog’s personality and energy level. I listen well to instructions and will ensure your dog has the best walk, time or visit I can provide! I have had dogs ranging from large Bernese mountain dogs like my own to a small maltepoo (my parents dog) who has an extremely sensitive stomach and requires extra attention. I also volunteered at the SPCA in San Francisco for 3 years and the Dumb Friends League in Denver for 4 years which gave me exposure to handling dogs from all walks of life - some of them easy and mellow, others extremely shy and required gentle handling and patience, while others were aggressive and required someone who understands how to calm and work with an aggressive dog. I look forward to working with you and your dog! I’m currently home most of the time outside of running or babysitting (and i will let you know if i have a shift that overlaps w your dog’s care). I can offer house sitting if my dog, Aspen, can come with me. I also offer boarding one dog at a time (or 2 if they are both yours) from my townhome in Basalt willits. I take the dogs out every 2-4 hours and Aspen (outside of when we’re sleeping) and I go on a walk every morning. I will do the same for your pup! I've cared for my own dogs, roommates' dogs, friends' pets, Trusted Housesitter stays, and Rover sits over the past 10 years. I've cared for dogs from puppyhood to 13 years old. I can take them to the dog park or on hikes, or if they're good with bikes, I can take them on even longer run/bike rides. I am very respectful and clean when staying at a client's house. I treat it like my own (if not better). I love going for walks with your pup and keeping them on a leash. I also don't give in to the cute puppy eyes when I'm eating my food and keep them to their parents' approved food and treats.

About: I’ve owned and trained two dogs from puppyhood—a Husky and my current German Wirehaired Pointer, Lenny. Training and building a strong relationship with my dogs has always been important to me. Having lived in the Roaring Fork Valley for over 12 years, I spend most of my time outdoors hiking, walking, and exploring. When your pup stays with me—whether for an hour, a day, or overnight—you can count on them getting plenty of exercise, fresh air, and attention. They’ll come home happy, tired, and ready to snuggle. I work from home so I usually get out for a walk or run in the morning. Afternoon jont to split up the day and then an evening activity depending on what is on the schedule. I have a fenced backyard and Lenny (my pup) to add to the fun. She’s a great companion to other dogs but also great for training.
About: I have grown up with always having animals around. I have lived on multiple farms, and have volunteered with several animal sanctuaries, including one for wildlife in Costa Rica. I also have spent the last five years fostering animals with the Humane society as I lived in Asheville and completed my schooling. Through this experience, I have worked with neonatal newborns, pregnant and nursing mothers, potty training- ages, senior pets, and those who take medication. As I create this account, I am traveling and petsitting on the road. My schedule is very flexible because of this, and so I am open to long or short stays. Every animal is unique, and I love to get to know their personalities and preferences! It is my goal to ensure that animal and animal parent both are happy and comfortable.

About: Ever since I can remember, I’ve been surrounded by animals. Growing up with three large dogs and two cats gave me a strong foundation in animal care and a lifelong love for pets. Over the years, I have volunteered more than 130 hours with animal shelters and rescue organizations, gaining hands-on experience with a wide variety of tasks including walking, bathing, administering medications, transporting animals to and from veterinary appointments, and fostering dogs in need in my home. I’m also a full-time dog mom and currently work part-time from home, which allows me to maintain a flexible schedule and provide attentive care. First thing in the morning I let my pups outback into the fenced in yard. I then feed them breakfast around 7:30am. We love to go to the park or for walks, we do this every day. Some days we will head up to a lake or reservoir for some swimming. We have dinner in the evening and potentially another walk. When caring for a pet in your home, I like to do a meet and greet with the dog first if that is a possibility. When being in your home I can provide the dog with treats and a slow introduction to gain their trust. Once this has been completed, then I will go about their daily routine per your request.
About: I have taken care of all kinds of dogs and cats for the past 8 years. Including some who needed extra care. I’m happy to help anyone in need and make sure their pets get all my love and attention. I’m currently a nursing student at the University of Tampa and am flexible with afternoons/mornings during the week. I am also available all day Friday-Sunday. About: Lifelong animal, pet, and nature lover! I have been caring for other people’s pets for over 15 years. At times, life got a little too busy for me to continue with this enjoyable “work”, but now I am able to re-cultivate this passion once again. I work in an office setting M-Th 8a-5p, but I typically have flexibility with many breaks and a long lunch. I work from home on Fridays. About twice a month, I am on-call on the weekends (8a-8p), and will provide more details if that overlaps with your booking. I live in Rifle, so I offer drop-in visits and dog walking from Glenwood Springs to Parachute. For overnight stays, I will travel from Aspen to Grand Junction. I have a fenced yard for potty breaks, and a doggy door that leads to my little yard. My dog doesn’t use the doggy door, so I am happy to keep it closed if that is your preference. I love to go on walks with dogs, and will walk them for whatever amount of time they are used to or suits their energy level. I have a sweet, small dog that is friendly to all animals he meets. He will play with your pet, or give your pet space, he is happy either way.
About: I strive to treat everyone's furbabies with the highest level of care as if they're my own. I've cared for every age of dog and cat for...really my whole life. I can administer medications and keep an eye on and assist more "special needs" furbabies if needed. I am a Biology major and try to learn as much as I can to care for animals the best I possibly can. I am currently working on animal first aid but I do know human FA so I can spot an emergency and care for minor wounds. I am currently working as needed at my job but, even then, my days are really open. I do have medical appointments here and there so sometimes I just need to leave the house for those but I try to return to the house expeditiously because I dont want the animals to be alone for too long. I understand not leaving dogs (especially) for too long between potty breaks so I can work around that but I try to stay at the house for 95+ percent of the time I am sitting. I purposely work around the animal's schedule so that they can be as comfortable and cared for as possible. I try to get as much information from the owner as possible so that I can make the time as similar to when the owner is around. I know changes can be stressful so avoiding any as much as possible is the best. I am known to be a cuddler but if they want their space I can definitely give it. I can give outside time to the best of my abilities and can transport in my own car with great safety if needed (e.g. if they love lake play, etc.). For younger animals, I can give regular care and make sure the space stays clean and cared for as best as possible. I understand that they need more supervision and help. I also try my best to keep an eye on outdoor heavy animals and shy animals to make sure theyre doing alright during my stay as well.
About: I live on a 16-acre farm, making it extra safe for your fur babies. I'm home full-time, so I can give them my full attention and love. If a dog is more of a relaxed, homebody type, I’m just as happy to keep things calm with indoor time, rest, and companionship. I adjust to each dog’s personality and energy level. For any care—whether boarding, drop-ins, or walks—I follow the owner’s instructions closely, including feeding schedules, routines, and any special needs or medications, to make sure each pet is cared for consistently and safely.

I have dog sat for neighbors and friends for years. I currently have a 7 year old Pyrenees/lab mix and he lives the best dog life. About: I have leash trained and kennel trained dogs over the years and train animals through gentle repetition and reward.
