Dog trainer, walker, lover!
I am proud to be the "crazy dog lady." I've been a professional dog walker for over a decade- my dream job! I was the shelter trainer and a board member of a California shelter, then Behavioral Lead at a shelter in Colorado, amongst many other involvements with animal rescues and shelters. I am a professional, positive reinforcement (no shock collars!) dog trainer in addition to working at my vet for 5 years. I'm passionate about dog rescue and have volunteered at rescues in the US, France, Guatemala and Peru over the span of almost 20 years now. I would love to take care of your pet- whether it be walks, visits, or overnight care! I love all breeds, sizes, and energy levels. I partner loving care with structured care, catering to your dogs needs while being responsible, compassionate, and fun! Upon request I am happy to include small training sessions with your dog to learn a new trick or two- or just basic manners! :)

Claire took the extra time to make sure our dog was comfortable with a new routine. She won him over immediately and even provided some helpful training tips. She shared lots of photos and updates, even a short video. Very happy after our first visit!

Claire was great! She was really easy to communicate with and sent tons of pictures of our cats! Our cat Vader is very timid and she did a great job of respecting his space and making him comfortable. She provided us peace of mind while we were traveling & we couldn’t recommend her more! :)
Claire is amazing!! She sends great pictures, and spent sooooo much time with our kitty. Pepper LOVES her, and we’d definitely book with her again!
Claire was so attentive with photos and summaries for each check-in. She really put our ‘leaving the dog’ guilt at ease and we came home to a happy, healthy pup!
