Dog trainer, walker, lover!
I am proud to be the "crazy dog lady." I've been a professional dog walker for over a decade- my dream job! I was the shelter trainer and a board member of a California shelter, then Behavioral Lead at a shelter in Colorado, amongst many other involvements with animal rescues and shelters. I am a professional, positive reinforcement (no shock collars!) dog trainer in addition to working at my vet for 5 years. I'm passionate about dog rescue and have volunteered at rescues in the US, France, Guatemala and Peru over the span of almost 20 years now. I would love to take care of your pet- whether it be walks, visits, or overnight care! I love all breeds, sizes, and energy levels. I partner loving care with structured care, catering to your dogs needs while being responsible, compassionate, and fun! Upon request I am happy to include small training sessions with your dog to learn a new trick or two- or just basic manners! :)

Working with Claire for the first time was like getting back together with a well acquainted neighbor or friend. It felt almost too easy. Claire showed up to walk our two Labradoodles when she said she would and shared photos of the walk. She communicates well and makes working with her uncomplicated. I can definitely recommend Claire.
Provided lots of pictures and videos and from what I can tell my cats felt very comfortable around her and had a good time. Thank you Claire!
Claire took the extra time to make sure our dog was comfortable with a new routine. She won him over immediately and even provided some helpful training tips. She shared lots of photos and updates, even a short video. Very happy after our first visit!

Claire was great! She was really easy to communicate with and sent tons of pictures of our cats! Our cat Vader is very timid and she did a great job of respecting his space and making him comfortable. She provided us peace of mind while we were traveling & we couldn’t recommend her more! :)
