In fact, she trained Darla to paw at bells when she needs to go outside (it worked!). Most importantly, she makes Darla's time w/her a positive one by taking her on walks to the beach and the frog pond. I always feel like she's getting a little "dog-cation" while I'm away.”

About: I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember. I grew up with one since I was six, and that bond taught me how much care and attention our furry friends really need. I also spent four months volunteering at a shelter as part of a school project, where I learned even more about caring for dogs. That experience only deepened my passion for making sure every pup gets the love and walks they deserve. I’m currently a student on summer break, so I have plenty of free time to dedicate to pet care. Aside from the occasional golf tournament usually twice a month that’s around 6 days total. I’ll be spending most of my time in Monterey. If you’re heading out of town for a few days, I’d love to help take care of your dog. I’m reliable, flexible, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals! When caring for pets, safety and trust are always my top priorities. I make sure to follow any specific routines or instructions provided by the owner whether it’s feeding, medications, or walking preferences. In your home, I respect your space and keep things clean and calm to make sure your dog feels comfortable and secure. I always check for anything that could be unsafe, like open gates or small items they could chew on. I treat every pet like they’re my own giving them lots of attention, a safe environment, and a routine they can rely on.

Louie went into her arms upon arrival which was a great sign to me. We would use Kelly again without hesitation. It also warmed my heart that she indicated a willingness to welcome Louie again too!”

“Yessina and Sophie and their 3 children were the perfect introduction for my 6 month old puppy, Pixie, to experience her 1st dog sitters! They were very kind and gentle with her and her shyness didn’t faze them. Buster my 8 year old terrier who is cautious around strangers, but a real gentleman, picked his spots to lay down and wait patiently and was calm when I arrived. Even though both dogs refused to eat while they were there for the day, I was very happy with the care given by this family. They really listened to me and followed my suggestions! I’m planning on returning and rebooking with them!”

About: I've had dogs and other small animals in my life since I was a kid. I've had my current baby for more than 12 years. We enjoy walks together but she's unable to go far now, so I'm looking for some other furry friends to help me get my steps in! I am a freelancer and do many types of jobs which I can work around a regular or occasional dog walking, check in, and boarding schedule. I have a lovely fenced yard with a large artificial grass area for pups to do their business or lat in the warm sun. The area is quiet with no additional dogs as neighbors. Since I've been walking my current dog every day multiple times I day, I am very experienced keeping my eyes open for potential issues and will request you let me know if your dog may greet others on a walk. It's totally fine if it's not something you allow or would be stressful to your baby.
