“Debra is amazing! My dog Winter felt right at home the moment she arrived. Debra has a very large backyard for dogs to roam around and play. Her home was very clean, inviting and accommodating. She took my dog for several walks throughout the day and sent several pictures and updates. Debra is someone I trust completely and will always count on her for the future. I highly recommend Debra.”

“Jatin is truly amazing! He house trained Deemo so well and I am truly impressed! We dropped off a routy dog and picked up a house trained dog after four days of boarding. Thank you!”

“Julie was amazing. Our first time using Rover and 100% would book her again. She sent pictures and updates frequently and I think Oreo would have chosen to stay longer if he had the option.”

“Tracey takes such good care of our girl Ruby. Ruby is always happy to see Tracey when we drop her off and she is always happy and relaxed when she comes home which tells me she is comfortable with Tracey and had a good time. Ruby has daily walks and play time outside and inside too. Tracey sends regular updates/photos and we received a video on this trip as well. I never worry about Ruby when she is with Tracey. Tracey is the absolute best and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a kind, reliable, and professional dog sitter to care for your pets.”

“I had a wonderful experience with Dipanjana and felt completely at ease leaving my dog in her care. She was attentive, communicative, and clearly genuinely cared about making my dog feel comfortable and happy. I received regular updates and photos, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. My dog came home relaxed, happy, and clearly well cared for. I truly appreciated her professionalism and kindness throughout the stay. I would absolutely trust her with my dog again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter.”

“Stasha & her boyfriend were wonderful! It was our first time boarding our pup and I was very nervous. She kept us updated throughout the day, and communication was great. She would send pictures as well! We will definitely book with her again.”

“Wendy took great care of me and my husband's two cats and kept us updated the whole time! Both are indoor-only cats and them having their own room to stay in was a big deal. Their room was spacious and allowed for more than enough room for them to play and run around in and even had a nice window view. Would definitely book again in the future!!”

“This was our first time using Kimberly’s services for our chihuahua terrier, Zoe. Kimberly was excellent and took good care of Zoe and sent us regular updates and pictures. Zoe seemed very comfortable and happy. Highly recommended!!”

“Michael and wife Patti gook wonderful care of Gigi for a week. Without hesitation, I booked them for a return visit. Their house and yard is ideal-- fully-fenced front and rear, no restrictions on furniture, and a dog door (their own little dog recently passed away, sadly.) They even invited Gigi to sleep on their bed. Patti took Gigi on a couple of walks to the beach and gave lots of tummy rubs. It was clear from Gigi bouncing around their house when I returned to pick her up that she absolutely enjoyed her doggy vacation!”

“I just wanted to give a huge shoutout to Yolanda for taking such amazing care of my dog while I was away! 🐾❤️ From the moment we met, I could tell my pup was in great hands. Yolanda was not only professional and reliable but also incredibly kind, patient, and loving with my dog. I got regular updates, adorable photos, and total peace of mind knowing my dog was happy, safe, and well cared for. It’s never easy leaving your pet behind, but Yolanda made it feel effortless. I came home to a calm, happy dog—and that says it all. If you're looking for someone trustworthy and genuinely passionate about animals, I can't recommend Yolanda enough!”

Thomas cared for my dog for the first time over the 4th of July. Hank isn’t always the easiest to find ideal boarding situations for due to his separation anxiety, but Thomas made my work trip out of state as low stress as possible for both Hank and me. Hank gots lots of walks, cuddles, and customized care with photos and frequent updates to boot. We will definitely be using Thomas in the future if he’ll host Hank again. Highly recommend :)

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
