She has a special gift with building immediate trust and rapport where my pups improve and in turn I learn new ways to interact with them for the better. Heidi has provided in-home boarding, walks, training and sitting for my animals. I couldn’t ask for a better person to care for my them than Heidi.”

“Ariana is wonderful! She took care of my pup Luna for a long weekend and it felt so good to know Luna was in good care! She is a great communicator and sent lots of pics and updates. Arianas home is well set up with a large gated outdoor space. Luna loved her right away upon meeting her, which was great to see. I definitely hope to have Ariana sit Luna again in the future and highly recommend her to others looking for loving, responsible care for their pets.”

My little Shih Tzu became fast friends with sweet Franny who is 3 years old. Their home is so peaceful and calm. “We have been boarding our dog Coco multiple times at Maralina's place! I did a real research to find a good spot for Coco to stay. Well, we did! Maralina and her husband are very good care takers and have good facilities. Most important, the dogs have plenty of room to play, she has a nice field up in the mountains where the dogs can play all day. And they do! Supervised all the time, so no worries. Maralina sent us pictures of Coco every day, so we were sure that while we were having a good time, she was playing ball all day. I definitely can recommend Maralina to everybody, they are the best! Because we are leaving back to Europe, Coco won't go there anymore, and I regret it, I know it is going to be hard to find a gem like this in Europe! Thanks again Maralina!”

“Michael and wife Patti gook wonderful care of Gigi for a week. Without hesitation, I booked them for a return visit. Their house and yard is ideal-- fully-fenced front and rear, no restrictions on furniture, and a dog door (their own little dog recently passed away, sadly.) They even invited Gigi to sleep on their bed. Patti took Gigi on a couple of walks to the beach and gave lots of tummy rubs. It was clear from Gigi bouncing around their house when I returned to pick her up that she absolutely enjoyed her doggy vacation!”

About: I've always been a dog lover, and was a dog sitter for a long time before getting my own dogs. I've had two 80+ pound dogs for over 14 years, both lived until they were almost 15! I have experience with training puppies all the way to senior dog care (diapers and all). I have a 1 story home with only 3 steps (but also have a ramp). Dogs are my spirit animal, I care for each as if they were my own. I'm a teacher and work 4 days a week. I am available Friday-Sunday for full time pet care, with additional days possible if there are school holidays. I have a fenced front yard and a 1-story home with only 3 steps up to the door (and have a ramp if needed to bypass steps). There are 2 other people who live in my home, a mid-40's male and a 7 year old child. Your dog will need to be comfortable and gentle with children and men in the home. I prefer dogs that are crate-trained, but may accommodate dogs that are not depending on their temperament. I also have a large backyard with trees, chickens, and lots of space to run and play! I love big dogs, the bigger the better! I am used to walking two 80+ lb dogs and can handle up to 2 dogs at a time.

About: I have taken care of dogs for 6+ years and have had dogs in my home all my life. My current baby is, Daisy, 130lb Irish Wolfhound. This means I have thorough experience with large dogs and walking them. I also love smaller friends and know how to care for them as well. I am very active and love walking dogs. My first priority is that they are safe, but secondly that they have so much fun and feel cared for. I also make sure to send pictures of your friends while you are away. I am currently in a Masters program at UCSC until May 24th. I could do early morning walks and walks after 3p until then. After that, until June 29th, I am available at all times in the day. :) I have a fence in my yard and while at client's homes I make sure to follow their safety directions. Safety is my first priority!
