About: I’ve been personally caring for both cats and dogs for over 3 years, in addition to volunteering at the SPCA. Through that work, I’ve gained experience with animals of all ages, sizes, and temperaments — from playful puppies to senior cats needing extra care. I’ve helped socialize nervous rescues, maintained routines for high-energy pets, and provided gentle support for older animals. What sets me apart is my calm, patient approach and the genuine connection I build with every pet. I treat them like family and always prioritize their comfort and trust. Pet care fits into my weekly routine naturally. I work part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility to care for pets throughout the day and on weekends. I enjoy staying active and love having pets as companions on walks and during downtime at home. I always follow detailed care instructions and make safety a top priority—whether in your home or mine. I ensure pets are secure, supervise playtime, and keep their routines consistent. I also provide updates with photos so you feel connected and confident while you're away.

About: I love all and every fur baby. Have been pet sitting for many family friends for many years. I currently watch over 2 senior dogs for the past couple years. I also have experience with caring for puppies and understand the time and care that goes into raising these little fur babies. I am a senior at San Diego State and am home for the summer. I typically have plenty of free time with a break from classes. I love animals and would love to spend as much of my free time as possible caring for them and hanging out with them. I am a very diligent rule follower with specific requests regarding the care for your dog/cat. I will deliver the best care I can do for your pets like they are my own. I love my 2 cats with all my heart and will make sure your pets get the same love that I would give my own boys.

“Terra is fabulous, friendly, fun dog sitter/walker. My dog adores her, that’s all I need to know! She is a great communicator, replying to messages very quickly. And her end of visit reports and photos are full and detailed. I could not be happier, or more relieved to have found her.”

About: I have been caring for dogs for 30 years. They are my supportive and lovable. I enjoy caring, walking and playing with the all doggies. I’m have mostly open availability. I love to walk and play with dogs. Caring for the dogs is my number one priority in life time I feed, walk, play and love my dogs everyday. When at my friends and family I treat their dogs as mine. Lots of love and attention

About: I’ve been caring for pets since 2017. Caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. If your pet needs a buddy during the day or while you’re away, I’d love to keep them company! I’m super flexible with bookings and canceling! I can be up early. I love exercise (I work in fitness) so I can take dogs on long walks, to the beach, and on hikes even. I can always do midday check ins and evening feedings. Before having a new pet in my home, I inspect my home and “pet proof” it. Potentially hazardous objects will be put away. Gates and doors will be closed so that the pet doesn’t have access outside freely. I will let them explore my home. Accidents are ok and easy to clean up. I will communicate with the client about entering their home. What their protocols are, shoes on or off, where pet-related items are located. I will always ask details about the clients pet. Their personalities, how they react to doorbells, mail persons, being in public, favorite toys, etc.

“I have a 155lb Great Dane and I am very weary of letting just anyone walk him because of his size and strength. Caity might not be big, but she’s mighty! The first walk I got cute pictures and updates, and when she showed up for the second walk it was like I no longer existed and it was the Oceyn and Caity show! That made me feel good that he has a good time with her. I’m pregnant and on bed rest so I can’t walk him myself… but even when I can walk him again I still plan to keep Caity around 😊”

About: My entire life I have had at least one dog in my family. My sister is a Vet Tech and my Dad was a dog groomer. I feel that I can provide a safe environment for your pet but also leave you with the confidence knowing your pet is well taken care of as they are a part of the family. Also be sure that your home will be secured and looked after as well so you can leave and feel that everything is taken care of! I work from home and am available for your dog to come here during the day or for me to walk your dog as needed. I live in a house with a fenced in backyard that your pet would be secure in. I work from home and am looking to make extra income doing the things I love, help service others and taking care of pets. Thanks I would treat someone else's home like mine. I have house and dog sat for years and am extremely trustworthy. Also can help with light chores, taking out trash and collecting mail.

About: I’ve been around all ages of dogs my whole life and have cared for them in many ways. I fostered two 8 week old pups a few months ago and would like to keep helping one walk at a time. I’m in the process of a career change and will have weekdays available starting after 12:30. I might be able to accommodate a weekend just let me know a week ahead. When I open doors I always open them slowly and carefully to make sure not to startle any sleeping dogs. When I greet your dog I’ll come down to his or her level unless you prefer me not too. For those extra shy ones I’ll get low and have my back to him or her until he or she is comfortable approaching me.

“Andrea is great with Maverick. He's very needy and has separation anxiety. She has great patience in getting Maverick to leave the house when he doesn't want to. Thank you Andrea!”

“Whitney is phenomenal! She has looked after and walked our dog quite a few times and has taken such wonderful care of her. She is always on time and takes our dog on amazingly long walks which is so appreciated Bc our dog is a husky and has so much energy. We highly recommend her :-) and feel lucky to have someone so trustworthy to watch after our fur baby!”

About: I’ve had many pets throughout my life, including a variety of farm animals. From Chihuahuas to Blue Heelers, kittens to senior cats, I’ve cared for animals at every stage—from energetic newborns to seasoned companions who require extra attention. I’ve had my fair share of training young pets and supporting older ones. For the first time in my life, I currently don’t have any pets of my own, so caring for the fur babies of friends and peers is always a joy! I have a fairly flexible schedule since I primarily work from home. With my contract position ending soon, I’ll have even more availability throughout July! I have a large, fenced yard with plenty of space for running and playtime. I'm within walking distance of Bicentennial Park and a nearby dog park. Crates are also welcome if your pet needs one.

“Genesis is an absolute gem!!! My pup is more of a difficult dog to deal with because of her reactive nature. Genesis is so sweet, caring, & patient with her. I was SO nervous to have a dog walker because of my dog’s temperament but I am so grateful to have come across Genesis. I will 100% be requesting walking services again. Thank you for taking such great care of my babies!”

About: I absolutely love animals. I have a cuddly black cat and big german shepard back home in CO. I've grown up taking care of them, and also regularly pet sit and walk dogs for friends and neighbors. Their pets are always excited to see me and feel safe around me. I am currently a college student and have random free time, mostly afternoons and evenings as well as weekends. I have a car so can easily commute to and from school and work. I make sure to ask the clients how best to care for their pets and anything I may need to know. I love to play with lots of toys, go on long walks, and give cuddles to pets that like cuddles!

About: Full time pet care professional - your pets are my priority! I’ve never met a dog I didn’t love, and I can’t wait to meet yours! Every pet is unique, with their own personality, and I am excited to take care of them and earn their trust to become a reliable sitter that they enjoy seeing. Fast paced and playful or laid-back and lounging, conforming to your pets lifestyle is important to me - I also send updates at least once a day, as well as pictures, so you don’t miss your babies too much! About Me: As a full time sitter, I get lots of 1 on 1 time with my furry guests! I love having a head to pet or ball to throw throughout the day, and spend a majority of my time at home with my ever-growing, extended fur-family. I have extensive experience with fear-free basic training, including walk fundamentals, as well as trust building training and practices. I am also well versed in administering medications (liquid, pill, and subcutaneous) to pets with special needs and health conditions, including senior dogs (I love a frosted face!) I have a darling, 15 year old, Chinese Crested named Kovu who spends her golden years napping and welcoming her furry friends with a sniff and a shake. Having two special needs dogs in recent years, I know how hard it is to leave your little loves behind. I am also independently insured as a pet sitter, daycare provider, pet trainer, and pet taxi through Pet Care Insurance (PCI). About My Home: My home features a large, fenced-in yard on a quiet street with tons of space for pups to run around and play. When the weather allows, they’re given free rein of the inside and outside of my home. The maximum time a dog is ever alone in my home is 2 hours (when I need to grocery shop or go to an appointment), but there is always a dog-loving adult family member home in case of an unexpected emergency. I am not a sitter who boards as many pets as possible, as that is too stressful on the dogs and is not the kind of care I would want my baby to receive. I only allow up to 2 pet families to book on any day, and my rates reflect the individual attention, love, and calm environment that your pups receive in my care. I like to have a hands-on approach when pet sitting, and anything we can do together, we do together! Pups love coming over to my home because they know they’re in for a fun time!

“Nancy was great with walking our 3 girls. She was open to meeting beforehand. One of our girls had a potty accident and Nancy was kind to clean it and dispose of the garbage. Will definitely be booking her for future bed needs !”

“This was my second time booking a dog walk with Audrey and she was great! Super caring and communicative, she made it easy to not worry about my pups at home.”

Aylene H.
“Aylene is good with taking care of pets, she used to care for my black lab when she was as around and she loved her. Always up and active with her and being very playful and nice I say she is a really great sitter.”

Matt R.

“Matt was friendly, responsive, and great with my 2 larger dogs! He took the time to do a meet and greet before their first walk, and gave timely updates.”

James P.
“Jamie has always been a loving and responsible caregiver of animals since very young. He has a special ability to calm and support any pet so that they follow and adore him. I would highly recommend him for any job that ensures your pet’s loving care and consideration.”

Isabela V.
“Isabela is amazing with our cats. We have 3 crazy cats, 2 siblings and 1 older one. With 3 cats, it is very necessary that our litter boxes are cleaned every day because of the smell and wanting to keep the area as clean as possible. Almost every other cat sitter we have had, does not do the litter upkeep how we like except for Isabela. She is one of the only sitters that makes sure the litter boxes are pristine. We love that she is also a cat owner/lover because it is difficult for people to understand the necessity of a clean litter box. She is always the first person we recommend to our friends and family whenever they need a sitter.”

Sharlet M.
“Sharlet routinely takes of our cat and dog. She love our babies as if they were her own. Our dog get so excited when she notices Sharlet walking up the driveway. Sharlet is able to follow directions and if any clarification she will ask. We always make Sharlet our first request when needing care for our fur babies. Sharlet enjoys our fur babies as much as we do!!”

Olivia D.
“Hello! Olivia would be perfect for this position. She has always been surrounded by animals throughout her life, whether they be her own or pets in her surrounding social/familial circle. She has taken great care of my dogs on various occasion (1 of which has major anxiety) and has always been able to handle anything they throw at her. She gives them plenty of snuggles and love as well. ◡̈ She is extremely responsible and attentive and I believe she would be successful as a pet sitter.”

Tyler S.
“I have had the luck to be able to have tyler has a housemate and roommate for about 4 years as we traveled around the US. One of our fellow travel buddies was my dog Pippin. My now 9 year old Cavachon. Tyler was always considerate to Pippins needs and would walk him/feed him/ or simply take him on adventures even while I was at work, all without having to be asked. Tyler is a kind soul who loves animals and will always put their safety and well-being first. Now we are in different cities, but Pippin and our new pack-mate, a 3 year old Samoyed named Bao Bao, still love visiting and hangout out with Tyler! I fully endorse Tyler to be a dog walker because he is trustworthy, considerate, and kind to both humans and animals alike. I say 2 thumbs while Bao Bao and Pippin say 4 paws up!”

Del Cerro dog parents share their Rover experiences
We’re so happy we found Kaylea! Being new to the area, we were pretty nervous about finding someone to walk and watch our dog, Mazie, since she’s usually very shy around new people. But Kaylea did an amazing job helping Mazie feel comfortable. It normally takes several visits before Mazie warms up to anyone, but Kaylea had her leashed and out for a walk in no time! Communication was clear and easy, and she was punctual and kind. We’ll definitely be booking with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable dog walker.

Rayleen is great !! Felt Comfortable booking with her last minute to walk our energetic pup. She offered to do meet and greet before hand which didn’t work out but we felt confident that with her experience and great communication her first meeting and walk with Rigatoni would go smoothly and she did not disappoint . Looking forward to using Rayleen again :-)

Genesis is an absolute gem!!! My pup is more of a difficult dog to deal with because of her reactive nature. Genesis is so sweet, caring, & patient with her. I was SO nervous to have a dog walker because of my dog’s temperament but I am so grateful to have come across Genesis. I will 100% be requesting walking services again. Thank you for taking such great care of my babies!
