“Krystal's love of dogs is evident and her current bestie, Duke, was a welcoming partner! We left our sweet Piper with Krystal for a week and Piper seemed to adjust well and was in good spirits when we picked her up. I think she even missed Krystal and Duke for a day or so after we returned home! Krystal kept us abreast of how Piper was doing and was responsive to our questions. I was amazed by how unfazed she was by the cold, wet weather that hung over the Fox Valley the week we were away; seemingly taking the additional 4 muddy paws in stride! We would happily re-book with Krystal the next time we need to leave town.”

“Olivia took care of our dog, Nix for a week. She did an awesome job and sent many pictures and updates. Nix had a great time, she had plenty of exercise and was considered one of the family. I would not hesitate to use Olivia again in the future. Thank you Olivia '!”

“Sara was awesome! Got pics and updates and so understanding when our plane was delayed! The dogs had a nice fenced in backyard to play abs got lots of love♥️ We absolutely love her and will use her again.”

“Highly recommend Kristin handled my large-breed dogs with so much patience and confidence. It’s clear she have a genuine love for animals and understand how to manage different personalities and energy levels. The communication was excellent”

About: I have had horses and dogs along with all sorts of animals my whole life. I have assisted with litters of puppies and worked years in a veterinary clinic. My animals are my family and I will care for yours in the same way! I work Monday through Friday 8-5 and am off on the weekends I would be available after work and on the weekends. If that works let me know! I also take my small dog to work with me and my springer goes to daycare next to my work. I have a large fenced in backyard! Pets are like family in my home!! They are allowed on furniture! I have many years of experience from 6 pounds to 150 pound Great Danes.

“This is the second time my best buddy stayed with Kelly. I can’t recommend them more highly. Everything is just super easy and it felt like they genuinely wanted to treat my guy like a member of the family. While on vacation, it was so great seeing daily pics and updates. He got cuddles and play, came back tired but that’s great. Again, I would give 10 stars if it was possible.”

“Maria took such great care of our pup while we were away! She sent us pictures with updates, which made us feel connected! I highly recommend Maria for care, we will be booking again for future needs!”

The communication was great—we received regular, fun updates and photos of our dog, which gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. It was clear our pup was being well-cared for and having a blast. We highly recommend!”

“Very nice couple! We could tell they really cared about our dog and wanted to give her a good experience. She is older and has many different medications that need to be given at all different times and they handled all this very well. Highly recommend.”

“I absolutly love Alex and her husband. They are very flexible and are wonderful with my boy. They have always welcomed him with open arms and are so easy and a joy to work with. “Korri and James are very thoughtful and caring and I really appreciate all the communication (updates and photos) while Mica is with them. They really treat Mica like she’s part of their family and do such a great job in learning Mica’s personality. It’s hard for me leaving Mica, but I am so grateful to have found Korri and James for a safe and comfortable place for Mica to stay while we’re away. Thank you both so much!”

“Kristina is an amazing sitter, she goes all out to care for your pup. She even went out to find the specific food I feed my dog when I forgot to bring it. Highly recommend her!”

About: I’ve been around dogs, cats and other pets my whole life. I grew up on a hobby farm and have over 10 years of experience caring for pets of all ages—from kittens and puppies to seniors. I currently have two dogs of my own and know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pet. Becca was Awesome! We needed to book last minute and she was able to accommodate. We recieved lots of pictures and updates. My wife and I were very thrilled with the updates. Bo is extremely tired and I can tell they played alot. Would recommend Becca to anyone. We look forward to future bookings.

Flawlessly amazing and kind! I just cannot say enough about Brittany and her kindness in caring for our high energy baby boy. She completely understood his need to burn energy outside and go for a walk. He was treated so well. Lots of cute pictures. I also am dealing with mobility issues with a broken foot I had surgery on. She was so understanding of my situation and picked him up at our house and brought him to me so he would not pull me on a leash. A really excellent experience for our dog and me!!!! We are all looking forward to using Brittany again. Thank you very much!!!
We loved working with Kimberly. She watched our dog for the first time and suggested a meet and greet to make sure she was a good fit with her own dog. We loved that and it made us trust her from the start. When we met her, Kimberly asked us many questions about our dog that made us feel like she would take very good care of her. Also, Kimberly’s home is quite literally the perfect set up for dogs. We know that our dog loved staying there and we enjoyed the updates Kimberly sent us throughout her stay. We will definitely be using her again in the future!

Mary was amazing!! My dog does not normally like new people but he loved Mary and she took great care of him. I even had to book last minute because of a funeral. I was able to be fully present with my family at our time of loss because my dog was so well cared for. Thanks Mary!!

Hannah was an exceptional dog sitter. She treated our dog as if he were her own, sent tons of photos, he was so happy with her! I think he honestly even forgot we existed while he stayed with her. She is very accommodating. Next time we go to Green Bay, we will always ask Hannah to watch our boy first!

Sarah and Kiernan were so kind, professional, and thorough. They were wonderful communicators- with learning about our pup’s needs and providing updates and photos/videos. Our pup came home happy and tired from the walks and playtime. Highly recommend this mother-son team!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
