About: Hi, I'm Melissa! I grew up surrounded by pets, and that passion grew into a lifelong career in animal care. I bring over a decade of professional facility experience to Rover, including serving as a Pack Leader at Tailwaggers Doggy Daycare and spending seven years as a specialized Caregiver at the world-renowned Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Utah. There, I worked with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and behavioral needs, including dog-selective and dog-aggressive behaviors. I work from 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM – 6:30 PM (about 25 hours a week), which leaves my entire midday window from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM wide open for lunchtime walks, playtime, and companionship. I am also available for quick check-ins before my morning shift, and my evenings are completely free after 6:30 PM for late-night cuddles and dedicated overnight stays. Because my daily job already centers around professional feeding, medicating, and cleaning, keeping your pet's routine seamless and sanitary between my shifts is second nature to me! About: I’ve cared for dogs for several years, including my own dogs and pets for other families. I’ve done everything from quick drop-in visits and walks to staying with pets for several days while their owners are away. I’m comfortable with different routines and can also give oral medication when needed. I make sure pets get plenty of attention and that their normal routine stays as consistent as possible. My work schedule varies from week to week, so my availability depends on the dates requested. I only accept bookings that work well with my schedule and your pet’s needs. Before booking, I’m happy to discuss your pet’s normal routine, how long they are comfortable being left alone, and any specific care they need so we can make sure I’m a good fit. About: Please read the entire profile. I did grow up with a Dalmatian dog. My dad was a firefighter, and came home with Pepper Christmas morning. My sister had a mini goldendoodle. I would stop daily after work around 3:45pm to play and take walks. I took a separation package from my employer 5/1/25 and now would like to offer walks, daycare, drop in visits and boarding . With boarding, For larger dogs, they WILL be crated at night. Your dog will be crated when I play pickleball in the mornings. I do have a crate(s). Please note if sending a request there may be a delay in responding due to pickleball between 9:30 - 12:30 approximate times. I currently have two dog walking appointments from 11:45am -1:45pm Monday-Thursday. Having retired 5/1/25, I have the time to provide loving care, playtime and walks with your pet. I will provide pictures and updates to you. No fence but can play fetch in the front/backyard or take your dog to dog park if they are ok with it. Please provide details or special needs. About: I have been around animals my entire life. From the family dog, to my own dog, and pet sitting for family and friends. I have experience with all sizes and breeds! I absolutely adore animals in general and am working towards having my own daycare/boarding center one day. I work from home and can watch your furbabies here anytime! I have some days of the week where I am off for the full day and can drop in at your place as well. My pupper is my baby and treated just like my son! I view dogs as part of the family which means snuggles on the couch and in bed. Time outside walking or playing fetch is a must! About: My love for animals started at a young age along with my desire to protect and care for them. What I can offer you is my commitment, dedication, and loyalty. I've completed a year working as a Kennel Assistant at the Central Maui Animal Clinic in Kahului. Basically what I do is clean kennels; set up kennels so it's more of a "comfy" feeling for the animals; take dogs outside to play & poop; provide food & water; and lastly, administer medications if necessary. I admit that I'm not quite comfortable administering medications, but if you explain it to me thoroughly, then I'll be more than happy to do it! I've had a fair share of what it's like working with animals. I mostly specialize in puppies; dogs; kittens; and cats. With that being said, it's safe to say that I do have some experience, but not quite as advanced. I wish I could expand on the services that Rover suggests, but the services that I can offer you are: house sitting; drop-in visits; doggy day care; and dog walking. I look forward to meeting up with you and your lovable fur babies. I'm currently working full-time, 4 10 hour shifts a week from 7:30am to 5:30pm. That means that I have 3 days off (Sunday - Tuesday) and work Wednesday - Saturday. The days that I'm off, I can provide the services that are stated above in "Pet Care Experience". The days that I do work, I can provide house sitting services and drop-in visits since I mostly work through the whole day. Living in a low income apartment has made it difficult for me to care for pets, so it will be very unlikely that I'll be able to care for your pets in my home. Hence, this is why I won't be able to provide any boarding services. I like to think of myself as a very respectful, considerate, compassionate, and trustworthy person. As I've gotten older, I realized that everyone has boundaries. My utmost purpose is to prove to you that you can trust me and that I'll be respectful towards caring for your pets and household as if they were my own.

About: I have trained two puppies in my life. I have had dogs since I was in 4th grade. Animals have always gravitated towards me. I make sure to treat them with love and kindness. I do also have a dog right now who’s 13, so I have a lot of experience with cleaning up messes and getting them outside in a timely manner. I’m currently working part time as bartender. Would love to start my day with some animal love! My mornings will be free and I am looking for something extra fun to do this summer. With love and kindness. For walks I make sure to be gentle but firm. Let them sniff for a bit, because I’m not in a rush. I will also be mindful about the hot pavement on their feet. I also like to make sure they have water for after the walk.

About: I have grown up with pets, dogs specifically my entire life! I love dogs of all ages, all shapes and sizes! Having an animal companion to spend time with is some of the best company you can ever have! In my family I have helped raise/train puppies, we have also fostered in my household, and I have taken care of animals for friends and family. I am a very active person, I teach phy ed, so I love getting out for walks or runs. I am a teacher, so during the summer my hours are pretty flexible. I do have to teach summer school in the mornings for a short period of time, but then I am available for mid morning or lunch time pet breaks! Making sure all animals are safe and well taken care of is very important to me. Following instructions on how a dog best responds is very critical. Dogs are animals of habit when trained, so I want to continue to follow routines and expectations that their owner has. In my full time job I am trusted with children and I understand that for many people, pets are loved just as much as a child.

About: I have been lucky to have owned pets nearly my entire life. Mostly dogs, but a cat and fish as well. My family fur baby passed in 2022 after nearly 14 years being our companion. I watch friends and family pets, and help them spur of the moment requests to drop in and let pets out. I recently retired, so I can be flexible with your needs for pet sitting. I can do drop in visits, or overnight at your place or mine. There are no other pets or children at my home. I will follow your instructions on feeding and handling your pet.
