About: Hi, I'm Melissa! I grew up surrounded by pets, and that passion grew into a lifelong career in animal care. I bring over a decade of professional facility experience to Rover, including serving as a Pack Leader at Tailwaggers Doggy Daycare and spending seven years as a specialized Caregiver at the world-renowned Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Utah. There, I worked with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and behavioral needs, including dog-selective and dog-aggressive behaviors. Currently, I keep my skills sharp working part-time as a Kennel Technician at a daycare and boarding facility right here in Green Bay. ​Because of my professional background, I’m highly experienced with administering medications, recognizing subtle body language, and reinforcing basic training. I know how important routine is, so I am more than happy to strictly follow whatever household rules you have set for your pet. Whether your furbaby is a social butterfly or a quiet soul who needs a patient, gentle approach, I have the intuitive skills to make them feel safe and loved. ​When I’m not caring for your pets, I’m hanging out with my own senior "puppy," a 9-year-old dog named Alba (pictured with me!), and my 14-year-old "kitten." I love house-sitting, overnight stays, and dog walking, and my ultimate goal is to give you total peace of mind while you're away. I can’t wait to meet your furbabies! My part-time schedule as a local kennel technician makes me incredibly flexible for pet sitting! I work from 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM – 6:30 PM (about 25 hours a week), which leaves my entire midday window from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM wide open for lunchtime walks, playtime, and companionship. I am also available for quick check-ins before my morning shift, and my evenings are completely free after 6:30 PM for late-night cuddles and dedicated overnight stays. Because my daily job already centers around professional feeding, medicating, and cleaning, keeping your pet's routine seamless and sanitary between my shifts is second nature to me! My goal is to keep your pets in their happiest, most comfortable element, which is why I specialize in caring for them right in their own home! With over a decade of professional animal facility experience and a huge heart for all creatures, I pride myself on being the next best thing to you when you’re away. I am fully backed by Rover and prioritize open, consistent communication—sending you regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing they are in safe hands. As a major bonus, I am an exceptionally tidy person who genuinely enjoys cleaning. About: PLEASE read the Entire profile as it contains details of my daily activity while I care for your dog. I grew up with a Dalmatian dog. My dad was a firefighter, and came home with Pepper Christmas morning. My sister had a mini goldendoodle. I would stop daily after work around 3:45pm to play and take walks. I took a separation package from my employer 5/1/25 and now would like to offer walks, daycare, drop in visits and boarding . During your boarding, Larger dog's WILL be crated at night. Your dog will be crated when I play pickleball in the mornings. I do have a crate(s). Please note if sending a request there may be a delay in responding due to pickleball between 9:30 - 12:30 approximate times. I currently have two dog walking appointments from 11:30 - 2:00pm Monday-Thursday. Your pet will be crated during this time. I have the time to provide loving care, playtime and walks with your pet. I will provide pictures and updates to you. Looking forward to having your dog while you are away 🐾🦴 No fence but can play fetch in the front/backyard or take your dog to dog park if they are ok with it. About: I have a lifelong passion for animals and extensive experience caring for pets of all shapes and sizes. Throughout my life, I have owned and cared for dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, gerbils, hamsters, and horses, giving me a strong understanding of the unique needs of a wide variety of animals. My love for animal care began at a young age, when I would regularly walk and help care for friends' dogs, including tasks such as nail trimming and basic grooming. During high school, I volunteered at my local humane society, where I gained hands-on experience walking and caring for shelter dogs. I have a full time job but it is flexible and i can do drop ins before wotk, lunch break and after. I am also free most weekends. I have a fenced in yard and 2 friendly dogs that love other animals. About: I’ve cared for dogs for several years, including my own dogs and pets for other families. I’ve done everything from quick drop-in visits and walks to staying with pets for several days while their owners are away. I’m comfortable with different routines and can also give oral medication when needed. I make sure pets get plenty of attention and that their normal routine stays as consistent as possible. My work schedule varies from week to week, so my availability depends on the dates requested. I only accept bookings that work well with my schedule and your pet’s needs. Before booking, I’m happy to discuss your pet’s normal routine, how long they are comfortable being left alone, and any specific care they need so we can make sure I’m a good fit. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable while their owner is away. I carefully follow instructions for feeding, walks, medication, and anything else your pet may need. I respect your home, keep things clean, and make your pet’s safety a priority. About: I have trained two puppies in my life. I have had dogs since I was in 4th grade. Animals have always gravitated towards me. I make sure to treat them with love and kindness. I do also have a dog right now who’s 13, so I have a lot of experience with cleaning up messes and getting them outside in a timely manner. I’m currently working part time as bartender. Would love to start my day with some animal love! My mornings will be free and I am looking for something extra fun to do this summer. With love and kindness. For walks I make sure to be gentle but firm. Let them sniff for a bit, because I’m not in a rush. I will also be mindful about the hot pavement on their feet. I also like to make sure they have water for after the walk.

About: Ive grown up handling anything from horses to chinchillas. I have an absolute love for all animals and will treat your sweet pet like my own! There has never been a time in my life where I did not have a dog in my house! Since the age of 15, I have raised and trained every dog I've owned with tremendous success! I am currently fly working as a flight instructor so my schedule has a ton of flexibility built into it. I could be available every few hours if needed. I live in an apartment with my Frenchie Berlin and my Fiancé. We are an active family and love being outside so your dog would get plenty of walks/runs! Inside the home, we encourage as much play as possible.

About: Over my 12 years of experience, I have pet sit all types of different animals for several neighbors, friends, and family members…including my aunt’s 9 cats. I currently am working part time as I am in college which my college schedule is now very flexible for the fall semester. I wanted another low stress job I would enjoy so I figured why not be around adorable pets ! I treat all pets with kindness and the respect they all deserve. I emphasize their emotions with how they must feel with their owner gone and try to give them extra love and attention to help.

About: I am 27 years old, and have been house and dog sitting since I was 14. I grew up with dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits, fish etc. so always have been an animal lover. I love hiking, running, being outside, and overall staying active! I grew up with border collies, so I am used to high energy dogs but love all sizes and breeds. I love hiking and finding dog friendly spots! I work from home, so available to walk/care for your dog during the day or after work. I work Monday through Friday remote. So I could walk and care for your pet during my lunch hour, before/after work, or on the weekends! I am very careful and aware of my surroundings especially when caring for someone’s pet. I understand every animal is different and needs their own unique care!
