About: Evy, 13, and her mom Sharisa have a soft spot for one of our favorites of God’s creation: the dog. We have many years experience caring for and loving our three dogs ranging from scared rescue puppy, on- alert adult rescue momma, to 15 year old forgetful deaf senior! We know the difficulty in finding someone to come into your pets home to care for them in their environment so we would like to provide that service to you! Evy enjoys training commands and tricks, while Sharisa soaks in the kisses and snuggles and loves long walks. Let us know how we can help you and your furry companion! We are a homeschooling family so we have quite a flexible schedule to be able to meet morning, middle of day, and evening needs for drop in home visits and dog walking. We specifically offer drop in visits in client’s home and dog walking in your neighborhood. We are happy to give medications or other special attention.

About: Over my 12 years of experience, I have pet sit all types of different animals for several neighbors, friends, and family members…including my aunt’s 9 cats. I currently am working part time as I am in college which my college schedule is now very flexible for the fall semester. I wanted another low stress job I would enjoy so I figured why not be around adorable pets ! I treat all pets with kindness and the respect they all deserve. I emphasize their emotions with how they must feel with their owner gone and try to give them extra love and attention to help.

About: I have grown up with pets, dogs specifically my entire life! I love dogs of all ages, all shapes and sizes! Having an animal companion to spend time with is some of the best company you can ever have! In my family I have helped raise/train puppies, we have also fostered in my household, and I have taken care of animals for friends and family. I am a very active person, I teach phy ed, so I love getting out for walks or runs. I am a teacher, so during the summer my hours are pretty flexible. I do have to teach summer school in the mornings for a short period of time, but then I am available for mid morning or lunch time pet breaks! Making sure all animals are safe and well taken care of is very important to me. Following instructions on how a dog best responds is very critical. Dogs are animals of habit when trained, so I want to continue to follow routines and expectations that their owner has. In my full time job I am trusted with children and I understand that for many people, pets are loved just as much as a child.

“Melanie has been great with all my pets! I have a dog that she let's out and walks, which she does so well, but I also have two smaller pets that she gives love to when she stops in as well! She sends many pictures and leaves informative comments! I plan on being a returning customer of Melanie for as long as I can, she is great and I 100% recommend!!”

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life beginning very young. At four, my family started fostering cats (mamas and kittens, too) and I would help out with feeding and offering love. I loved to get all cozy and read the cats books. This love carried forward throughout my youth with four cats, a German Shepard mix, a malamute, a boxer and pit. My house was always full and, as the oldest sibling, I had the bulk of the animal chores which I loved. I got a cat as soon as I could when I moved out on my own and about five years ago I got a rescued pup of my own at 8 weeks. I dedicated so much time to gently training him and just pouring love into him. I can definitely help with training and love working with dogs on walking well on leash. I also really believe in positive reinforcement for your pets - they just want to make us proud! I love long walks with dogs and lots of coregulation cuddle time. I am a yoga teacher and teach about 10 classes per week (Monday evenings to midday Friday). Other than that I work remotely from my computer, so I can flex my time. I really value a slow paced life, so being able to really take my time and go for walks/hikes, cooking a gourmet dinner at home for myself and cuddling up with a good book. I do my best not to work on weekends, so I have a lot of time to enjoy life! I have always been a very regimented, schedule following pet owner. I think it helps create consistency and eases anxiety for animals. Routines help animals thrive. I think frequent bathroom breaks are important. Long walks early in the day before the world is busy and it gets too hot in the summer are a priority. I also really love snuggling up and just having quiet, calm time with pets. I am happy to follow whatever guidelines/special requests pet parents have. I know how important it is to keep things consistent for pets! There’s never any judgement from me!

“Karissa is an amazing dog walker and individual. She and her husband stopped by for the initial meeting. Our Cooper took right to her. She is very flexible. We have had a number of service people at home, along with changes and Karissa has been a great constant for Cooper. She is always on time and professional in her communication. I would highly recommend her.”

About: I am very proud to be a "fear free handler". That's a big thing for me, if an animal is uncomfortable, I am 100% uncomfortable along with them.. learning their little quirks and finding ways to do things in the best way possible for that specific animal is what I do and I absolutely love doing it. I promise your animal will be cared for deeply while in my care. My passion has always been working with animals, providing them with the care and respect they deserve and I have extensive experience in the field. I’ve worked in horse barns, animal shelters, and dog boarding facilities, and I’m skilled in administering all types of medications, including insulin. Whether it’s feral cats or reactive dogs, I have the patience and expertise to help them adjust and thrive, including building trust with new people. I understand how intimidating change can be for animals, and I’m dedicated to making those transitions as smooth as possible. Currently, I’m expanding my skills in training dogs with behavioral challenges. I’m already working with a client who has made tremendous progress under my guidance. Additionally, I’ve dedicated countless unpaid hours to caring for animals, driven solely by my love and commitment to their well-being. When you entrust me with your pet, I promise to care for them as if they were my own, providing compassion, patience, and unwavering dedication in every situation. I do have a full time job but I only work 7 hours at a time and I can watch your babies before/after that. ❤️ I am a perfectionist. If you tell me you want something done in a specific way or at a certain time, please let me know!! I'd be more than happy to jump through hoops to give your baby(s) what they need when and how they need it. I will put your animal above everything else, that's what I'm paid for and that's what I love doing.

“Erin is reliable and has great communication.”

About: Hi! I’m Priscilla, and I have had dogs all my life until 2024 when mine (pictured with me) passed. I used to be incredibly active and am particularly interested in dog walking after recovering from some health issues that caused weight gain so if you have a dog that likes to be active we could be a great fit! I’m experienced with a wide variety of animals - I’ve cared for dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits, horses, and cows. I enjoy all dogs from small to large and love dog walking. I also love cats. I have a calm demeanor that most animals respond great to and can gently correct rowdy pets. I am dependable - if I say I’ll be there, I will. I can’t wait to meet you and your dog! (Or cat!) Let’s schedule a meet and greet to see how we all get along. I have a pretty flexible winter / spring in 2025 and since losing my dog would love to walk dogs again so feel free to message me and get on my calendar. Please provide me with any specific details that I should be aware of when entering your home and caring for your pet. I will do my very best to respectfully adhere to them.
