About: I have grown up with 1-2 dogs since I was 5 years old and helped my parents train our second dog when I was 11. I love watching my parents dogs whenever they need and I have two dogs of my own that are my fur babies. I am a nurse who works 3 days a week and every third weekend so I usually have most of the week available. I love dogs and would really enjoy this experience in my free time. I have a fenced in yard and have two dogs of my own. I also have a kennel if needed, and can section off parts of the house with dog gates.

I'm an experienced pet-sitter & excited to help pet parents in the area! I decided to come on here and find some extra jobs to fill my spare time during this winter break! I am experienced and reliable and I truly think that pets are a part of the family. I have experience working with multiple dogs too, and size is not a concern for me. I grew up with a Saint Bernard so I do not shy away from pet sitting for big dogs! I do work a typical work day from 8-5 on weekdays, so more independent furry friends may suit me better. However, weekends are always open for me and I can easily dedicate my weekend time to your pet. I treat pets like family. About: My partner Jonah and I are huge dog people, eager to take care of your fur baby! We unfortunately are not in a place yet to have our own, so we are using Rover as a way to spend some quality time with dogs in the area. Jonah grew up with dogs and is used to having them around. I’m confident handling different personalities and energy levels, and I always treat pets like they’re my own. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine! I work full‑time, Monday through Friday, from 9–5, and I occasionally work overtime on the weekends. Because of that schedule, most dogs may be alone for up to 8 hours during a workday. I don’t host pets in my own home, but I’ll happily come to yours so your pets stay comfortable in their own space. I follow your instructions closely and make sure your pets feel safe, cared for, and loved while you’re away.

Having an animal companion to spend time with is some of the best company you can ever have! In my family I have helped raise/train puppies, we have also fostered in my household, and I have taken care of animals for friends and family. I am a very active person, I teach phy ed, so I love getting out for walks or runs. I am a teacher, so during the summer my hours are pretty flexible. I do have to teach summer school in the mornings for a short period of time, but then I am available for mid morning or lunch time pet breaks! Making sure all animals are safe and well taken care of is very important to me. Following instructions on how a dog best responds is very critical. Dogs are animals of habit when trained, so I want to continue to follow routines and expectations that their owner has. I have a senior dog myself now and have been adapting his care to adhere to his age. I have trained puppies before with potty training, teething, and walking on a leash. I have lots of experience with different dogs, and I ask a lot of questions so I completely understand your needs and your dogs needs. And no matter what they are, it is never a chore to me. My work is a hybrid format so I can easily tailor it depending on your schedule and my work needs. Lots of walk time and trips to the dog park if you like dog parks. I like to put less emphasis on how I take care of your dog and a high emphasis on how YOU want me to care of your dog. Every dog is different and I’m adaptable!
