Hi, I’m Melanie! 🐾 I’m a full-time pet sitter and dog walker with years of hands-on experience caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I started pet sitting through Rover in 2019 and transitioned to full-time pet care in 2022 — and I truly love what I do! I’m a wife, mom of two boys, and cat mom to four cats of my own, so I understand how important it is to find someone you trust to care for your pets like family. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, senior, anxious, or needs a little extra patience and attention, I’m happy to adapt to their individual needs and routine. I have experience with: • Dogs of all sizes and energy levels • Cats (including multi-cat households) • Senior pets and special-needs pets • Puppies and kittens • Bunnies, guinea pigs, birds, chickens, and other unique pets Before pet sitting full-time, I spent nearly 10 years as a print technician and was a department lead for over a year. That experience taught me the importance of reliability, communication, organization, and attention to detail — all things I now bring into my pet care business every day. When caring for your pets, I focus on making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while keeping you updated with plenty of communication and cute photos along the way! Very friendly and helpful in coming up with a plan to give Shia her Bexacat pill daily while I'm gone. We both came up with the solution to grind the daily pills into a powder and mixing into her soft food.
Melanie was so personable and we loved meeting her. Our dog absolutely loved her. She was very responsive and so sweet overall.
Melanie has taken care of our cats numerous times and is always prompt with communications, sends pictures of our happy pets, and leaves the boxes clean. Even our anxious cat comes out to see her which is an impressive feat lol
Melanie is amazing to work with and takes such good care of the dogs!
