“Melanie has been great with all my pets! I have a dog that she let's out and walks, which she does so well, but I also have two smaller pets that she gives love to when she stops in as well! She sends many pictures and leaves informative comments! I plan on being a returning customer of Melanie for as long as I can, she is great and I 100% recommend!!”

“My last minute request resulted in Shanna giving Coda a walk he desperately needed. Coda is training to walk without pulling and Shanna used the directions given. She provided excellent feedback on how Coda did after the walk.”

“Jenn took the time to meet me and Tucker the day prior to his scheduled visit. It was appreciated she took the time and interest to make sure we felt comfortable with her visiting our home and that Tucker took to her. Tucker knew almost immediately through her engagement with him that she was his new best friend! Upon Jenn visit I received a text of her arrival and then feedback when the visit was completed with adorable pictures and a feeling of ease that my fur baby’s needs were met. Thank you Jenn, we look forward to your future visits.”

“Erin was prompt and on time for the visits, and we felt comfortable having her walk Iris. We appreciated the visit updates and pictures! We’ve already booked Erin for more future visits!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was in high school, giving me over 20 years of hands-on experience with dogs of different sizes, ages, and personalities. I’m a lifelong animal lover and have also volunteered at the Humane Society, where I gained experience caring for and interacting with animals from many different backgrounds Pet care is already a regular part of my daily life. I have two dogs of my own and enjoy staying active with them. I’m happy to work with pet parents to provide walks and care that fit their pet’s normal routine. I’m dependable, flexible, and will make sure your pet gets plenty of exercise, attention, and companionship while they’re in my care. I understand how much trust it takes to put your pet in someone else’s care. I always follow the owner’s instructions and respect each pet’s individual routine, personality, and comfort level. I pay close attention during walks and visits and prioritize safety at all times. I’ll treat your pet and your home with the same care and respect I would want someone to show my own.
“Amme does a great job scheduling times and walking my dog each week. Willie gets a full walk and Amme really cares about my dog. She’s very kind and caring and goes the extra mile on every visit! Thank you so much for spending time with my best friend when I’m not able to. I feel so much better each time that he is getting the attention he needs and deserves and Amme provides that each and every time.”

About: I have owned 6 dogs, 1 cat (family pets), a bearded dragon and 4 hamsters throughout my lifetime. I have also cared for other small animals such as guinea pigs, rabbits, leopard geckos, and more! I am consistently doing research on a variety of animals (even ones I never plan to own) because I liked to be informed about all different types of care. I am mostly available in the afternoons as I am a college student and part-time employee with two businesses. However, I am available in the early(ish) mornings on select days. Given enough notice I can make myself more available and work around my class and work schedules. I am very thorough when it comes to animal care. I research immensely when it comes to new species, and I follow directions carefully to ensure everything is done properly. I know how much my animals mean to me, which means other peoples animals mean just as much to them.
About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs and cats my entire life, so caring for pets has always come naturally to me. While I’m not able to have any furry companions of my own right now because of my current living situation, I truly miss having them in my life. I’d love the opportunity to give your pet plenty of love, attention, playtime, walks, and, with your permission, a few well-deserved treats! I’ll care for your pet as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I currently work full time at home Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm however, my schedule is flexible and I am able to take breaks throughout the day. I can make almost anything work with enough notice. I provide care in my client’s home so pets can stay in the environment where they feel happiest and most comfortable. I understand that keeping their normal routine helps reduce stress while you’re away. I’ll make sure your pet receives plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, fresh food and water, and lots of love. I’ll also follow any specific care instructions you provide to ensure your pet’s routine and needs are met every step of the way.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 9 of all ages and sizes. They all are unique in care and I’m willing to provide that I’m currently enrolled at NWTC so I have plenty of time to care for your pets needs. I’ll treat them like they’re my own, follow their normal routines and keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages while you’re away. Whether your pet needs a long walk, some playtime, lots of cuddles, or simply someone to keep them company while you’re away, I’m happy to give them the attention and care they deserve.
About: I have hands-on experience caring for and working with dogs of all breeds and ages. I worked as a dog bather for a few years, where I gained experience handling and caring for a variety of breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I’ve also walked friends’ dogs, giving me experience with different energy levels and personalities. I’m patient, responsible, and always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I’m excited to give your pets the same love and attention I would give my own! I have a flexible schedule since I run my personalized resin pet tag business from home. This allows me to easily fit pet care into my daily routine while still having time to dedicate my full attention to the pets I’m caring for. I enjoy spending my free time with animals, so pet care is a great fit for my lifestyle! I am currently only interested in dog walking and drop ins! During walks I will ensure your pet is safe and well cared for. I will take all the necessary measures to ensure your pet’s safety.
About: I’ve taken care of all types of animals since I was a child for friends, neighbors, and family. I also have 10+ years of experience working in an animal hospital and I am comfortable with administering medical treatment when needed. I am relatively new to the area with an open schedule during the day that allows me to spend plenty of time getting to know your companion animals. Safety is a priority for me so I make sure to follow your specifications pertaining to your animal. No two animals are alike and I will ensure that I follow your guidelines on what is right for you and your pet.
About: I’ve been around dogs for most of my life family and friends pets and enjoy playing and taking care of them when needed love dogs of all sizes I’m currently working full time but love animals and helping with them where I can. Going on walks or just throwing a ball around I can do it all. Whether your fur baby likes to lounge around or be active I enjoy both and with 3 children at home keeping track and cleaning up after them is a regular past time of mine.
About: My love for animals started at a young age along with my desire to protect and care for them. What I can offer you is my commitment, dedication, and loyalty. I've completed a year working as a Kennel Assistant at the Central Maui Animal Clinic in Kahului. Basically what I do is clean kennels; set up kennels so it's more of a "comfy" feeling for the animals; take dogs outside to play & poop; provide food & water; and lastly, administer medications if necessary. I admit that I'm not quite comfortable administering medications, but if you explain it to me thoroughly, then I'll be more than happy to do it! I've had a fair share of what it's like working with animals. I mostly specialize in puppies; dogs; kittens; and cats. With that being said, it's safe to say that I do have some experience, but not quite as advanced. I wish I could expand on the services that Rover suggests, but the services that I can offer you are: house sitting; drop-in visits; doggy day care; and dog walking. I look forward to meeting up with you and your lovable fur babies. I'm currently working full-time, 4 10 hour shifts a week from 7:30am to 5:30pm. That means that I have 3 days off (Sunday - Tuesday) and work Wednesday - Saturday. The days that I'm off, I can provide the services that are stated above in "Pet Care Experience". The days that I do work, I can provide house sitting services and drop-in visits since I mostly work through the whole day. Living in a low income apartment has made it difficult for me to care for pets, so it will be very unlikely that I'll be able to care for your pets in my home. Hence, this is why I won't be able to provide any boarding services. I like to think of myself as a very respectful, considerate, compassionate, and trustworthy person. As I've gotten older, I realized that everyone has boundaries. My utmost purpose is to prove to you that you can trust me and that I'll be respectful towards caring for your pets and household as if they were my own.

About: Ive grown up handling anything from horses to chinchillas. I have an absolute love for all animals and will treat your sweet pet like my own! There has never been a time in my life where I did not have a dog in my house! Since the age of 15, I have raised and trained every dog I've owned with tremendous success! I am currently fly working as a flight instructor so my schedule has a ton of flexibility built into it. I could be available every few hours if needed. I live in an apartment with my Frenchie Berlin and my Fiancé. We are an active family and love being outside so your dog would get plenty of walks/runs! Inside the home, we encourage as much play as possible.

“Meg is amazing!!! She has been a total life saver. I work long hours in the health care field and she has been walking Benny everyday during the week . She comes between 11:00-1:00 everyday. Benny loves her! He is a much happier dog with a way better quality of life. Her training experience has made a difference. I notice he walks better on his leash with me and my son since Meg has been walking him too. I would highly recommend Meg.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
