“Brooke and her husband were absolutely amazing! Dozer was so well taken care of while we were away. Brooke is so knowledgeable about pet care as well, which left us feeling at ease knowing our baby would be properly cared for. Also, pictures and videos, and updates from Brooke daily were an added bonus. Great yard and pet area for him to feel comfortable and “at home”. Thank you so so much! 💕”

“Chelsea was amazing great communication always keeping us updated on how Dexter was doing and sending lots of pictures some issues with our flight and she so understanding definitely recommend Chelsea for your pets needs we will definitely be using her again”

“Kristal and Scott did a wonderful job taking care of our Rosie Rae. They kept us updated and sent pics daily. I recommend them highly. Very nice couple and very clean house Will absolutely use them again.”

“Heather and her husband were so great with our dog, Sheeva. It was our first Rover experience and we had a wonderful experience with them. They sent photos and updates every day so we could see how she was doing and that was very much appreciated. Sheeva was a happy and tired girl when we picked her up so it was clear she had a great time. We will be booking with Heather again!”

“Holly was great! My dog Ivy loved staying at their place. She made a new best friend and loved the extra attention. Highly recommend and will use them again when we go out of town.”

“Denise and Jon took wonderful care of our two pups for a week! Ellie is very timid around new people and they went the extra mile to make sure she felt right at home. 10/10 would recommend Denise and Jon to anyone looking for amazing dog sitters. ❤️”

“Shana is amazing with our cockapoo. She treats him like he’s her family and sends me daily update and pictures. Gary loves going for sleepovers whenever we go on vacation. Definitely recommend”

“What can I say? Melissa was amazing. Needed a sitter for our Weimaraner at the last minute. Needed to leave town for family reasons. Called the usual suspects. They gave me the dog and pony show. No pun. Ridiculous what you got to go through to board your dog these days. A few of my friends and customers recommended Rover. I went on there and checked it out. In about 30 minutes from first seeing it, to signing up, I had already booked Melissa to watch our dog Kaiser. I arranged to bring him over, and she couldn't have been any more sweet. I can really tell that she loves animals. Very cool chick too. Our dog was in good hands the couple days he was there. When we got him back, he was well rested, and had none of the anxiety boarding can bring on. It's great to know I have someone that I can rely on if we leave town for any reason to watch after our pooch. I couldn't recommend her anymore. Thank you!”

“Becca was Awesome! We needed to book last minute and she was able to accommodate. We recieved lots of pictures and updates. My wife and I were very thrilled with the updates. Bo is extremely tired and I can tell they played alot. Would recommend Becca to anyone. We look forward to future bookings.”

“Savannah was great with my dog. She kept me updated and was very flexible. We were traveling through a winter storm and I was so thankful that she was so flexible. Thanks again Savannah.”

“Jasmine was fantastic! She is very professional, always responded quickly to any questions, and took great care of our puppy. She helped with some training (as the puppy was only 12 weeks old) and her own dog, Stryda, was a great playmate and teacher for our puppy.”

“Chad and Beth were the best! I couldn’t have asked for a better experience - they sent lots of pictures, made sure Tucker was active, and took him on fun adventures. He was so happy when I picked him up and I’m hoping I have the chance to utilize their service again :)”

“We loved working with Kimberly. She watched our dog for the first time and suggested a meet and greet to make sure she was a good fit with her own dog. We loved that and it made us trust her from the start. When we met her, Kimberly asked us many questions about our dog that made us feel like she would take very good care of her. Also, Kimberly’s home is quite literally the perfect set up for dogs. We know that our dog loved staying there and we enjoyed the updates Kimberly sent us throughout her stay. We will definitely be using her again in the future!”

“Did an amazing job taking care of my special needs Frenchie (blind). She kept me updated, sent pics and allowed my granddaughter to visit him while he was there. Definitely use again.”

“Colleen was a wonderful furmama replacement. We have traveled across the country using Rover along the way and we couldn’t be happier finding her. Any Packers who need a caretaker should look no further. Well even if you aren’t a Packer. ?”

“Samuel was wonderful and communicated everyday with us, sending updates and multiple photos of our two dogs. We have never left them before and he was very understanding and made them comfortable and happy. Fantastic experience! I will continue to only board with him going forward- Thanks again for a great experience!”

“Daniel was fantastic! We choose him to dog sit out German shepherd for her first over night not at home. We did a meet and greet first and then she stayed over for the weekend. He made me feel very comfortable and even sent me some photos of my pup! Timber really seemed to enjoy her stay and the adventures (walks) they went on! We will definitely keep Daniel in mind when we need another dog sitter.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Kaukauna
Both Cate and Andy were so kind and loving to my two dogs when we went away for the weekend. They welcomed them into their home. The dogs both had good playtime in their beautiful fenced backyard. Cate and Andy sent pictures and video during their stay to keep me updated! They were so wonderful.

Krystal and her dog Duke were great with Jack on his 7 day stay. I was nervous because he was attacked at feeding time by a sitter’s dog in the past, but Krystal put my mind at ease and promised if there was any issue she would find a way to keep them separate and make it work. I had no reason to be nervous, everything went fine and Jack had a good time. We will choose Krystal and Duke again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
