“Chelsea was easy to communicate with and made the whole process easy. We did a meet and greet beforehand and I felt very comfortable with her. I knew my dog was in good hands and will definitely use her again!”

“Anu and her family did a wonderful job of taking care of our Trooper. He had a fantastic time and took quite the nap after getting home from all the playing! They made sure they knew Trooper’s routine and we received pictures and videos multiple times a day to keep us updated on how he was doing. I highly recommend Anu and her family to care for your pet!”

“Friendly and responses quick to your messages . Also she was great with Sam !! Gave me updates on how he was doing ! I would recommend her to anyone looking for a dog sitter !”

About: I grew up with all kinds of animals including dogs, cats, horses, ducks, and rabbits. I also had a great deal of time with other animals such as cows, and chickens at my Grandpa's dairy farm. One of my past jobs was being a dog sitter, to care for them, and do some training as well. I loved it! 🙂😁 I now have a German Shepard and Husky mix named Apollo, and I love teaching him new things, spending time with him, and of course taking care of him. 🥰❤️ I'm currently working as a house cleaner, and although I love the job, I would like to work some more hours. Sometimes clients cancel or reschedule cleanings resulting in less hours. I'm looking to do this hopefully full time, as I miss working with dogs. 🙂😁 I currently have a huge yard, but I can also give walks if suggested. I'm welcoming any animals except cats due to my boyfriend being allergic. I will do my very best to help any of your fur babies feel at home. 💌😁
“Daniel was fantastic! We choose him to dog sit out German shepherd for her first over night not at home. We did a meet and greet first and then she stayed over for the weekend. He made me feel very comfortable and even sent me some photos of my pup! Timber really seemed to enjoy her stay and the adventures (walks) they went on! We will definitely keep Daniel in mind when we need another dog sitter.”

“Kayla was absolutely fantastic and our pup Doc looks forward to the next time he gets to go back. Kayla sent us updates every day, she sent pictures, and she sent a video! She is very kind and went above and beyond when his hip dysplasia acted up and he wasn’t feeling the best-she did everything she could to make him comfy and in less pain. Thanks Kayla-our family is happy we found you and we will definitely book again ?”

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was ten. From a litter of beagle puppies to King & Queen to Sandy our cocker spaniel and Pepper the Schnauzer. In married life I had golden retriever and multiple Tri Shelties. Also have the pleasure of grand dogs to care for occasionally. My last Sheltie Cooper passed 10/2020 and I would love to care for your precious fur baby. I am an active retired female with lots of time & energy to care for your loved one. My hours are very open and I can be flexible with schedule I have a nice backyard with long leads/leash to connect pet indoors before letting out. Also very nice trail walks in area. I enjoy keeping your dog in good shape with a little exercise and a calm relaxing home to come back to
“My dog Luna spent a week at Anna & George's home, which was her 1st time with a pet sitter. She did well, and I appreciated that Anna shared a couple photos during Luna's stay, which helped reassure me since it's a new relationship. Anna kept Luna's routine, including walks and some play time, and gave her lots of TLC.”

“I don’t know what I would do without Kimberly she is so fantastic. She taught LaRena how to shack this overnight visit. LaRena didn’t want to leave she has so much fun. I can’t thank Kimberly enough I had day surgery and I didn’t worry at all about what I was going to do with LaRena”

“Brooke and her husband were absolutely amazing! Dozer was so well taken care of while we were away. Brooke is so knowledgeable about pet care as well, which left us feeling at ease knowing our baby would be properly cared for. Also, pictures and videos, and updates from Brooke daily were an added bonus. Great yard and pet area for him to feel comfortable and “at home”. Thank you so so much! 💕”

About: I grew up with dogs and cats but don’t currently have any pets of my own. Looking to spend some time caring for your pets! I currently work from home three days per week, and I am looking to spend some time outside of my house with animals. I am available daily/weekly for walks, drop-ins, and overnights. I can follow any directions you leave for me in order to best care for your pet. I am available for walking, playing, feeding, and snuggling (first and foremost), but can provide a variety of other services as needed.
“Luna was a little anxious about being away from home, but Jennifer did a great job providing her the attention she needed. She was very accomodating, and I would book with her again.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Menasha
Kathy accommodated me with a meet n greet the day before boarding. Zoe and Sadie enjoyed their time at Kathy's house playing with the other dogs. Kathy was very helpful and interested in learning about the dogs background and eating habits. In 2 out of the 3 photos Sadie was smiling which tells me she was enjoying her time there. I will book again another time.

It was our first time using Rovers and leaving our dog, PJ, with someone who was not family. Mark and Susan were great with her and provided us updates over the weekend while away. Appreciated them having a meet & greet prior to us leaving her for the weekend. PJ got lots of walks and attention and was very content under their care. Overall, a great first experience. We will definitely reach out to them in the future when are in need of care for PJ.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
