Miss our pets; want to love yours
I've taken care of pets for family and friends since I was a teenager. Over the past several years, we've had to put down our two pets. We miss having a pet but don't want to commit to one full time right now. We would love to care for your pets in our home. We love to walk and play with pets and show them the love and care they deserve. There is a dog park nearby, and if it's your desire, we would be happy to take them there.

Susan & Mark did a great job with my dog, Reggie! It was his first time w/ a dog sitter that wasn't family or friends, & he came home healthy & happy! They texted updates & photos, which was nice, and were just really organized & quick to reply to texts throughout the entire process. They live in a nice, clean house in a good neighborhood to walk in. It's a dream come true to have nice, helpful people as an alternative to boarding at a facility, where there are lots of dogs and noise to stress him out. Will definitely, confidently, reach out to Susan & Mark again to care for Reggie!
It was our first time using Rovers and leaving our dog, PJ, with someone who was not family. Mark and Susan were great with her and provided us updates over the weekend while away. Appreciated them having a meet & greet prior to us leaving her for the weekend. PJ got lots of walks and attention and was very content under their care. Overall, a great first experience. We will definitely reach out to them in the future when are in need of care for PJ.
Susan & Mark were absolutely great! My dog can be a little anxious at first, but they handled him calmly and patiently, and he seemed comfortable during his stay. When I picked him up, he was relaxed and clearly well cared for. I would absolutely book with them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a caring and reliable sitter! 🐾💕

We left Casey in the care of Susan and Mark while we went on a family vacation. He was so happy to stay with them and obviously well cared for! We hate to leave our puppy, ever, but have such peace of mind knowing he is with Susan and Mark where he is receiving all the pets, treats, walks and snuggles he could need. Thank you both ❤️

Schedule
I work full time, and my husband works part time from home but has to be out of the house for a few hours each day. I do not work far from home if I would have to come home to let your dog out during the day. We are home most weekends and not on the go very much.

Our yard is not fenced in, but at least we do have a yard for the dog to be out in. We love to walk and would include your dog in our walks. We also love to play with dogs indoors. There is a dog park nearby and we would take the dog there if that was your desire. We don't mind snugging up on the furniture with dogs. We require a harness for walking as opposed to just a collar.
A typical day
We have walking trails nearby and can also play in our yard or walk throughout the city. There is a dog park nearby if you think your dog would enjoy going there. We welcome your dog's favorite toys to have while you are gone.
