“Our one year old Bernese mountain dog, Maize, spent four nights with Jeff. She is curious, loves to be outside and check out new smells. His yard was perfect for her! Jeff was perfect for her. He took her on walks and gave her plenty of time to explore his backyard. Maizie was exhausted and slept the whole afternoon when we brought her home. I'm sure she was dreaming about her new friend. Super Experience! We already have another time booked.”

I have experience with temperamental or reactive animals as well. I have a beagle/boxer mix who gets daily walks and has a big fenced in yard to enjoy at our home. I also have two cats, a classic brown tabby and a petite tuxedo girly. We are unique as we bring all of our animals camping so they get to experience the outdoors with us! My animals are treated like my children and part of the family which is exactly how I would treat yours. I honestly prefer animals over humans.

About: I have experience caring for animals of all kinds, though I can currently only offer in-my-home care to dogs. I have always had family pets growing up. I got my own dog when I was in high school. I currently own 2 well-mannered dogs, a hunting labrador and a scent detection pit-mix. I have more than 2 years of professional gun dog training experience, and have trained over 50 puppies/dogs. I currently work from home, so I will be able to accommodate any schedule your pet may need. My own dogs recieve 2 feedings per day (5am and 5pm). We often take a morning walk (typically no less than 1-2 miles, less if I am walking a young puppy or senior dog with mobility issues). Also evening walks if weather is appropriate. I do not allow my dogs to do strenuous activity or rough play right after a meal. The yard is not fenced, so dogs will be on leash or long-line and fully supervised when outside the home. For off-lead outdoor fun we will take trips to the local dog park (not a very heavily trafficed dog park, usually empty). I have experience providing oral and subcutaneous medication to pets, should your pet need medication while in my care.
