Even though it was a short stay, we could tell our dog had a great time especially with Mercy, their adorable pug! About: I have taken care of dogs since I was ten. From a litter of beagle puppies to King & Queen to Sandy our cocker spaniel and Pepper the Schnauzer. In married life I had golden retriever and multiple Tri Shelties. Also have the pleasure of grand dogs to care for occasionally. My last Sheltie Cooper passed 10/2020 and I would love to care for your precious fur baby. I am an active retired female with lots of time & energy to care for your loved one. My hours are very open and I can be flexible with schedule I have a nice backyard with long leads/leash to connect pet indoors before letting out. Also very nice trail walks in area. About: Hi, I’m Melissa! What sets me apart is my deep lifelong passion for animals. Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I’ve cared for dogs and cats from their very first days all the way through their golden years. On top of that, we’ve had horses for over 20 years and many outdoor cats too! Right now, I have a super flexible schedule since I’m not working outside the home, which means I have lots of time to spend with your pets. About: Please read the entire profile. I did grow up with a Dalmatian dog. My dad was a firefighter, and came home with Pepper Christmas morning. My sister had a mini goldendoodle. I would stop daily after work around 3:45pm to play and take walks. I took a separation package from my employer 5/1/25 and now would like to offer walks, daycare, drop in visits and boarding . With boarding, For larger dogs, they WILL be crated at night. Your dog will be crated when I play pickleball in the mornings. I do have a crate(s). Please note if sending a request there may be a delay in responding due to pickleball between 9:30 - 12:30 approximate times. I currently have two dog walking appointments from 11:45am -1:45pm Monday-Thursday. Having retired 5/1/25, I have the time to provide loving care, playtime and walks with your pet. I will provide pictures and updates to you. No fence but can play fetch in the front/backyard or take your dog to dog park if they are ok with it. Please provide details or special needs. I look forward to providing belly rubs, snuggles and loving care.

“Highly recommend Chelsea! She was very easy to communicate with and was able to take Voss on short notice when we had to be in town unexpectedly. My dog had a fun day playing with her dogs in the fenced back yard and house. She even trimmed his nails for us which was really great. We’ll be back if we need care in Oshkosh again!”
