She was unavailable for our most recent vacation, so used Rover for the first time and ended up deciding to go with Bobbi (and her family) and have our 2 doggies stay with them for our time away. We had a quick meet and greet to make sure our 2 doggies got along well with her dog, which went great. Bobbi sent reassuring messages and pictures every single day of our 12 day trip. Typically when we pick our pups up from our other sitter, particularly after a longer trip like this, they cry with joy to see us... run all over with excitement they cannot contain. This time when we picked them up, they seemed happy to see us, but not nearly as excited as usual, which to us indicated they MIGHT have preferred to just continue to hang with Bobbi and crew. About: I've been taking care of dogs on my own since middle school. We've always had a family dog in the household as well as friends and neighbors who would need help with their little ones. I have a BS in Animal Science, have worked as an emergency vet assistant/triage tech for the last 3 years, and have some professional dog training experience. I currently have 2 guinea pigs, and a 2-year-old AND 1-year-old pitty/lab mix that love to come to work with me and go on all sorts of outdoor adventures! About: After being an elementary teacher for the last 15 years I have decided to stay home and join Rover while my kids are in school! I will of course be available after school and weekends too! I would stop daily after work around 3:45pm to play and take walks. I took a separation package from my employer 5/1/25 and now would like to offer walks, daycare, drop in visits and boarding . With boarding, For larger dogs, they WILL be crated at night. Your dog will be crated when I play pickleball in the mornings. I do have a crate(s). Please note if sending a request there may be a delay in responding due to pickleball between 9:30 - 12:30 approximate times. I currently have two dog walking appointments from 11:45am -1:45pm Monday-Thursday. Having retired 5/1/25, I have the time to provide loving care, playtime and walks with your pet. About: I’ve had and taken care of many different breeds in my lifetime, mostly medium to smaller mixed breeds and I’ve also taken care of doodles I currently have 3 dogs and 2 cats that I spend my days with. Always start with a morning walk down our local hiking trail We have gates to keep them in safe spaces including keeping our daughter away from them if necessary but she’s also very gentle with them

“We have had the same dog sitter since our 5 year old dog was born. She was unavailable for our most recent vacation, so used Rover for the first time and ended up deciding to go with Bobbi (and her family) and have our 2 doggies stay with them for our time away. We had a quick meet and greet to make sure our 2 doggies got along well with her dog, which went great. Bobbi sent reassuring messages and pictures every single day of our 12 day trip. Typically when we pick our pups up from our other sitter, particularly after a longer trip like this, they cry with joy to see us... run all over with excitement they cannot contain. This time when we picked them up, they seemed happy to see us, but not nearly as excited as usual, which to us indicated they MIGHT have preferred to just continue to hang with Bobbi and crew. It honestly couldn't have went better! We are so happy to have found Bobbi!”

“Krystal's love of dogs is evident and her current bestie, Duke, was a welcoming partner! We left our sweet Piper with Krystal for a week and Piper seemed to adjust well and was in good spirits when we picked her up. I think she even missed Krystal and Duke for a day or so after we returned home! Krystal kept us abreast of how Piper was doing and was responsive to our questions. I was amazed by how unfazed she was by the cold, wet weather that hung over the Fox Valley the week we were away; seemingly taking the additional 4 muddy paws in stride! We would happily re-book with Krystal the next time we need to leave town.”

“For a recent week - long vacation, we left our 3 year old golden doodle with Jeff. This was our first time using Rover and leaving her in someone else's home. After an initial meet and greet, we felt very comfortable with Jeff and Ember loved his fenced in yard. We liked the photo and written updates we received while vacationing. Jeff provided daily walks and outside time. He respected Ember's schedule and tried to maintain her schedule. In addition to our toys and treats, he also provided some. We will definitely use Jeff's boarding for future get aways.”
