We are accommodating and have many repeat guests. Our regular daycare dogs are best friends. Shelby took great care of our dog Charlie for a short weekend stay! She was also very flexible and accommodating when we had a few schedule changes. Would definitely book again next time we’re in the area!
This was our first time leaving our Birdie with Shelby and we couldn't be more grateful for the care she was given. When we met for the meet and greet prior to booking, it was clear that Shelby and her family really care about the well-being of their clients. And that was confirmed during Birdie's visit. Less than a week before her scheduled stay, Birdie experienced a pinched nerve resulting in two medications that would need to be administered daily. I contacted Shelby ahead of time to let her know about the situation and she had no issues with either. Then, while we were away, Birdie developed a reaction to one of the medications causing severe tummy distress and loose stools. Shelby contacted us right away to inform us and worked with us to change her to a bland diet and get her to the vet and back to their place. This also entailed adding more meds to be administered. Being so far away during a medical issue is extremely stressful. We were so appreciative of the constant communication and updates we received, which set our minds at ease knowing Birdie was being well taken care of. We can't thank Shelby, her daughter and husband enough for the above and beyond care they gave to Birdie. We highly recommend them and would have no hesitation in booking them again.
She was awesome. I would definitely book with her again. I highly recommend her for anyone looking for someone to care for your dog.
Shelby was very understanding of our anxious guy! She was patient with him as he acclimated to a new place. Great communicator and very friendly!

Schedule
Recently we have switched things up. My Husband Paul, is home full-time. I work part-time. I have the luxury of being home in the middle of the day. We have plenty of love and attention to give. My husband and adult children also love dogs, we work as a team. My dogs are rarely to never, without an adult. We have two training periods per day with our dogs and include any dogs that are here as well. Our home is VERY PUPPY PROOF, as we have had the joy of raising puppies in our home recently. My spots fill up quickly so plan ahead. I can’t wait to meet your dogs! Shelby, Paul and Alyssa.

Safety, trust & environment
I have two friendly Bernedoodles who will gladly run the backyard with your pups! They prefer multiple short visits to the backyard and one or two long play sessions. We go out with the dogs and PLAY WITH THEM. I can keep smaller breeds entirely separated from larger dogs if preferred. However, my dogs are very gentle with small dogs. We rarely leave our babies home alone. We do have XL crates available to keep them safe if they have a short time alone due to an emergency. Guests have the privilege of supervised, free-roaming access to the dog-friendly/dog-proofed main level of the house. We can separate dogs if necessary with walk-through gates. This is something we do during meet and greets, but rarely during an actual stay. I can accommodate eating preferences. Water is available in multiple rooms. I specialize in puppy care and will work on training your dog as well while in my care. I do not accept aggressive or reactive dogs. I require proof of vaccination and flea and tick prevention.

A typical day
I can work on basic tricks with your pup as I am working with mine. Sit, shake, stay, lie down, come, side, and stay are some of the basic tricks we work on. Puppy potty training is also something we can provide. *Pups must be fully vaccinated and have parasite prevention.
