I do work a full time job but I'm willing to help out with any pets when im done saturdays, if need me to pick them up to board I will. Anytime of day Sundays and Mondays and I'm free for holidays too! I have a fenced in yard with 2 loving, fun, outgoing, lazy, heartwarming beagles you would ever meet that love company! I will be out watching all dogs who are over. There will be timeout areas if someone gets out of hand. I absolutely love walks! No matter the weather. About: I’ve been around dogs, cats and other pets my whole life. I grew up on a hobby farm and have over 10 years of experience caring for pets of all ages—from kittens and puppies to seniors. I currently have two dogs of my own and know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pet. Since I work from home, I’m able to be flexible and give your pet the attention they deserve, whether that’s regular walks, check-ins, or just some extra company during the day. I’m also a clear communicator and will always keep you in the loop while you're away. Looking forward to getting to know your pet! I work from home, so I am flexible about what time of day I can drop in on your pets. I can also bring my computer and work from your home if needed. Weekend availability varies but I keep my schedule up to date on Rover. I take care of pets in their own home so they can stay in a familiar, stress-free environment. I'll follow the routine you provide—whether it’s feeding, walks, or medication—and make sure they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I’m respectful of your home, double-check doors and gates, and always keep you updated with how things are going. Whether it’s a drop-in, walk, or overnight stay, you can count on reliable care and clear communication.

My husband and I were Soo pleased with Mackenzie’s care and love she showed to our pets!! Ben and Brook were very relaxed being there and Ben especially made friends with Wilson!! We plan on having Mackenzie care for our pet the next time we need her. We highly recommend Mackenzie to anyone looking for a pet sitter👍👍👍👍👍

Shanna is amazing! She gave frequent updates and communicated regularly throughout my dog’s stay. She allowed time for proper introductions to the other dogs in her care which ensured a fun and safe environment for everyone. I loved knowing my dog was having a great weekend while I was away. I will definitely continue booking with Shanna!

This was the first time we left our dog with someone other than family and Sierra was a perfect fit. Sierra went above and beyond to keep Bella comfortable through the stay. She sent lots of pictures and updates while we were away. I felt good knowing she was in good hands. Would rebook with her again!

Our Lola is well taken cared of each time she’s with Rose. I always enjoy and appreciate the photos and videos whether it’s playtime or one of their adventures around the neighborhood. It’s comforting that someone trustworthy cares for the well-being of our little one while we are away. Rose is thoughtful, reliable and flexible. Bottom line is that our Lola looks happy under Rose’s care.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
