“Melanie was wonderful! She took such gentle care of my elderly cat, made sure she got her meds, and even fixed my camera so I could check in while I was away. Her kindness and attention to detail gave me so much peace of mind.”

About: I've been taking care of animals since I was very young. Fur babies seem to seek me out, whether it is in nature or encounters on the street; you can catch me waving at animals before humans (lol). I've had dogs, cats, a horse, and bunnies off and on throughout my life. I just lost my bunny George, so finding Rover is the perfect opportunity to get some fur baby time in to help mourn my little love 🥲 Im excited to love on your babies if you'll have me 🫶 I'm currently very flexible with my time as I make my own hours. I would like to fill my time with fur babies as much as possible :) I will follow any instruction you have regarding your home and your furry companions. Safety and trust are important to me and I want to make sure you know your animals are loved by me too.
“Erin was amazing!!! This was the first time having someone other than family take care of our cats. She did great with our cats and our cats did extremely well with her, especially with being a new human for them. Definitely will be using Erin again!!”

“Shanna was so great to work with. She came to meet our pets and go over all instructions prior to her scheduled visits. This was the first time leaving our diabetic cat. I was comfortable doing so because I knew Shanna would handle giving the injections and provide all the attention that he needed. I would highly recommend Shanna.”

“Jeffery came for a drop by visit on short notice and did a wonderful job making Rio feel comfortable. I would definitely recommend him and will certainly be requesting his services again.”

“We have been so fortunate to find two exceptional fur baby helpers, Angelica is one of them, this is someone that you want in your home with your baby protecting them and taking such good care of them. She truly goes above and beyond, and I will keep her as my sitter for as long as she will come, let my dog out💕💕”

About: I currently have 3 cats, one being a senior! I grew up with three little dogs but I’ve also taken care of larger dogs for friends and family! I work part time so I have time before work and after to see your pet! I have weekends free. Unfortunately I am in an apartment so i’m unable to house your pets here but i’m exciting to take care of your pet in there safe space! I have a slow approach when first meeting pets and let them go at their own pace. I am very communicative so you can get updates about your pet, so you know there in good hands!
“Carly did a great job looking after Murphy. Murphy had orthopedic surgery in February and now possibly another surgery to the other leg. She is on pain medications to keep her pain controlled and calm. Carly was on time twice a day to feed and medicate Murphy for pain and then stayed 30 minutes for ear rubs / reassurance. Carly also notified me that some boards were damaged on my back fence when a storm rolled through. I was able to get someone to quickly repair the fence while I was still out of town. I'm a first time user of Rover and will definitely use it again! Thanks!”

“Jeanne took excellent care of my cats! She watched my cats shortly after I moved so they were still stressed in their new, unfamiliar environment, but they were comfortable with her and even came out to play!”
“Maddy is an excellent sitter! I was gone, internationally, for 8 days, and she made sure to check on my kitties at the discussed frequency while also providing me with pictures every single day to keep my mind at ease. She is super communicative and friendly as well. I highly, highly recommend booking with her if she is available.”

“Ingrid was the first person I've hired through this app. And she will always be my go to sitter for my cats. Of my two cats, one completely adores her and my other is stand official. Even so, she makes an effort to get pics and even pretty her while she hides under a bed.”

“Nora is super responsive and respectful. She instantly connected with my dog when they met for the first time. And she is very detailed in her notes. She was even kind enough to bring my garbage bin back in on a particularly windy day.”

“I recently had the pleasure of having Cheyenne cat sit my two beloved cats, and I couldn’t be happier with her service. Cheyenne was attentive, caring and insured my cats were comfortable and well taken care of. Her reliability and dedication truly made a difference and I returned home to two very happy cats. I highly recommend Cheyenne to anyone in need of a trustworthy and caring cat sitter. She is a true professional and a wonderful person who clearly loves what she does. My cats and I are grateful for her excellent care and will definitely be requesting her services again in the future if need be. Using the service for the first time, there were a lot of exceptional candidates to cat sit, but I am very happy with my decision to hire Cheyenne’s services, and you would be too. Thank you Cheyenne!”

About: I have cared for many pets big and small and some strange to others. Personally I have owned rats, birds, a bunny, a dog, and now a cat! I always reseach extensively on how to care for a specific pet to make sure to give them the best life possible and make sure everything is good with vet care. At this moment I only work part time as a face painter for parties. I spend most of my days with my own cats, one of which I have been training to be a therapy cat! I love caring for animals and helping them so I thought I would offer my services to who may need them. I will be asking alot of questions and like to know if your pet has a schedule they like to follow. I would hate to stress them out with more as a change of schedule plus a stranger in their home could be scary for them. I am also very respectful of boundaries your pet may have and am more understanding if a pet gets sick or scratches me due to personal space issues.
“Our dogs took to Amme right away, and so did we! She is easy-going, but also mature and reliable. She has been easy to reach and communicates before and after the visit. I recommend her!”

“This was my first time getting a pet sitter for my 2 kitties, one of which is ill. Clarissa and Adam were great with them. I received updates and pictures with each visit which put my mind at ease. They took the time to socialize with them which was great! I would choose them again. Thanks for taking such good care of my boys!”

Emma was a wonderful sitter for my 2 cats and great and communicating. Outside of the normal routine things associated with pet sitting, she took extra steps to take care of my anxious cat. And all this was on top of being responsive on a short notice. Would definitely rebook with Emma.

Carly came into our home before the trip to meet and get to know the cats and routine. It was lovely to be able to talk with her before and throughout the visits. My two cats loved her very quickly and she got pictures that are now my favorite of the kitties. Will be the first I contact for any further kitty sitting needs! 10/10

This was our first time using Rover.com, and we couldn’t have picked a better person than Maddy for drop‑in visits while we were on vacation. We chose her based on client reviews, and she completely lived up to them. She provided daily email updates with photos, which we loved and truly appreciated. It was obvious right away that our two cats adored her—they got the love, attention, and care they needed, and that gave us so much peace of mind. Even our youngest cat trusted her from day one! Maddy took away any worries we had about leaving our kitties with someone they didn’t know, and that’s priceless. We would highly recommend her to anyone looking for reliable, caring pet care. (Our cats would too!) Thanks Maddy!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Green Bay. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
