“This is the second time I’ve use Amaya and I’m so happy with her services! She checks in and sends pics and gives updates. Really provides me with so much peace of mind. I will continue to book her to take care and check on my animals when I’m away!”

“A.C. has always been great! She's very communicative and I feel really comfortable leaving my fur baby in her care. She is also patient when my cat can be a total jerk (which is often). I can tell she really cares about every animal she watches.”

About: I've been surrounded by dogs my whole life, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. I recently raised my own puppy from 8 weeks old, so I’m very familiar with the time, patience, and energy it takes to train and care for young dogs. I also have experience doing pet check-ins and babysitting for families back in Texas, which helped me build strong, dependable habits when it comes to caring for others’ pets and homes. I’ve just graduated from college and recently moved to Monterey, which means I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to your pet's needs. Whether it’s giving a puppy some structure, keeping your dog company during the day, or simply making sure everything’s okay while you’re away—I’m here to help, with genuine care and attention Pet care is a natural part of my daily life. Since I have my own young dog, I’m already in a consistent routine that includes walks, playtime, feeding, and training. My flexible schedule allows me to easily fit in pet sitting, drop-ins, or extended stays throughout the week. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, their safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I take time to understand each pet’s routine, personality, and any special needs they may have—so they feel secure and at ease while you're away. I’m attentive to details like feeding schedules, medication instructions, and favorite toys or habits, and I always make sure pets are in a clean, calm, and stress-free environment. In your home, I respect your space as if it were my own and follow all guidelines you leave for your pet’s care. I know how important it is to feel confident when someone else is looking after your furry family member, so I provide regular updates, photos, and check-ins to keep you connected. At my place, pets have a safe, cozy space and are never left unsupervised.

“Christie took excellent care of our Sphynx cat while we were away. She communicated daily and sent lots of pictures (which I love). Christie even stopped by on Christmas and brought our cat a little toy. I would definitely count on Christie again and highly recommend her! Very kind, reliable and easy going person.”

About: I’ve taken care of pets around my neighborhood since I was a kid, and I have a history of bonding with cats who are said to not like people My only weekly commitment over the summer is a research project at CSUMB, so I can drop by pretty much any time you need me to! I’ll fulfill your pet’s needs with kindness and as much energy as they need. Although you’ll be gone, you can rest assured they won’t get bored or lonely.

“I have a senior kitty that would prefer I never left the house. It feels like I won the lottery finding Kenzee. Her experience, communication, care, reliability, and attention to detail made being away from home worry free. Moreover, I returned to a happy, very well cared for kitty and home. I’m overjoyed to have found Kenzee! I will now be able to travel with full confidence my pet and home are in exceptional hands. Thank you, Kenzee!”

About: I have experience taking care of dogs. Since I was little, my family and I had several dogs of different sizes and breeds. Right now, I have our one-year-old dog, Adonis. I am a student. I'm home most of the time because my classes are online, so I will be constantly taking care of your pets. In my house I have a fenced patio where they can rest, do their needs, or play. In addition, I have our dog Adonis, so they will have great company to play with.

About: I've been around pets for most of my life and, while I currently don't have any pets of my own, I am regularly asked to sit for friends and family. I'm currently unemployed and will have plenty of time for your pup(s). I'm currently available all days of the week until 6pm and can adjust as necessary based on your needs. I have a fenced yard for your pup(s) to run around and explore. I have plenty of dog toys for them to play with and can easily crate them if needed.

About: I grew up with a dog throughout my childhood and miss him every day! I had a roommate with a dog recently for about a year as well and loved having a fur baby again. I recently got married and moved in with my husband, and I’m missing having a dog to walk and take care of! I’m a freelance French translator and interpreter, so my schedule is very flexible! I typically work from home and tend to have a lot of available in the afternoons, but can often assist in the morning as well, with advance notice. I’m not able to care for pets in my home at this time, as I’m not allowed to have dogs in my rental, unfortunately! I wish I could!

About: I've taken care of all different sizes of dogs since I was 14! From King Charles Cavaliers, Border Collies, Golden Retrievers, to chihuahuas! I am home all day and able to take them on potty breaks as needed :) I'm currently on summer break from school so I am able to give your pets all the love and attention they may need! I'm not working over the summer so pet care will be my full priority! Our apartment complex has a fenced-dog park and we have a very sweet and friendly golden retriever puppy to give your pet company! We also live in a very safe neighborhood to take your pet on walks!

I am glad to speak with your veterinary professional. I have competed in many dog sports including agility, obedience trials, dock diving and am an experienced dog trainer who really loves the dogs. Hiking, off lead play in a fenced environment, trips to the river and lake during summer months. Living in Monterey California is perfect for me because it is such a dog friendly community. When I leave the house, your baby goes with me as long as the weather permits. Each day can be a new adventure. Geriatric dogs welcome, as well as dogs that have special needs or care. I am retired and available full time to care for your dogs. I set my daily schedule to meet your needs. Seaside and Monterey are so dog friendly. I am currently licensed in California as a registered veterinary technician. References available upon request I have not one but 2 secure fenced yards so your dog can come in and out with me during the day. They do not need to interact with my dog, but if they want to I can make supervised visits between them

About: My journey in taking care of dogs started in 2013, and I have gained thorough experience from then on. I have cared for dogs of all ages, and made my schedule fit for them. I am self disciplined with their routines, consistent, dependable, and reliable. I am greatly passionate for giving all dogs the best quality in all things for them to thrive. I have also gained skills in basic command training. My specialty would have to be solidifying bonds with my dogs, and protecting them at all costs. I currently have open availability all days in the week. My days start at 11am between 12pm. I start community college in Spring of 2024. I am available and able to care for pets in their homes, where they can be most comfortable and cared for. I have experience with overnight stays. Safety is key for me and my pet clients, furthermore, any specific details I must know for their care is vital. I also prefer written instructions in specific terms as well.

About: I grew up with both dogs and cats, I even had a gecko when I was younger. I have lived with and cared for pets my whole life. I grew up with a orange tabby cat, and recently lived with a Bombay and an American shorthair. I have also cat sat an Egyptian Mau and a Nebelung. My friends call me the cat whisperer because even when they say "he/she isn't keen to newcomers, the cat tends to feel comfortable with me right from the start". This is something I love seeing since cats are known to be more picky about who they chose to rub against or get close to. I have also grown up around and cared for a variety of dogs. To list a few dog breeds I have cared for: American Eskimo, Labrador, Golden Retrieves, Huskie, Malamute, German Shepard, Cavapoo, Belgian Malinois, Golden Doodle, Beagle, Wiener dog, Katahula, Mountain Cur, Boxer. My first dog was an American Eskimo , and then my family also had a couple Labs and currently have a Katahula/Mountain Cur mix. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me with the care of their pets. I have experience working with working dogs (Belgian Malinois, German Shepard) and caring for them on strict schedules as my best friend has 2 working dogs that have alternating schedules and crate times. My last roommate has a Cavapoo and since I work fully remote I spent the days caring for him, taking him on walks, feeding him dinner, I even gave him bathes though he didn't particularly enjoy them. I love to go for runs/walks and love to cuddle. I promise that if you chose me to care for your pet they will receive all the love I have to offer. I currently work from home full-time with a lot of flexibility in my work schedule, so I am able to take the pets out for walks multiple times a day if needed, and it opens me up to be more available to watch your pets. I am a highly active person so having a furry companion to play with always makes my days better. I currently share an apartment with a roommate who does not do well with Pet Dander so it is best if I care for your furry friends at your home. I will respect your wishes whether you allow pets on furniture or not. I do not mind if they are on the furniture but that is a personal preference and understand the need for consistency with animals. When caring for your pet I just ask that you provide a note of preferred do's or dont's in your home.

“Valery was so helpful pet sitting Fig while we were visiting Carmel for the weekend. Fig felt safe and comfortable with her immediately and her communication and reliability were excellent!”

“I couldn’t recommend Cordelia more as a pet sitter. She has such a gentle and loving way with animals, and it’s obvious how much she cares. Her own cats are a great example—she gives her so much attention and love, and you can tell the bond they share is strong. She’s also watched over other dogs and always treats them like they’re part of her own family. Whether it’s taking them out for walks, playing with them, or just making sure they’re getting the affection they need, she goes above and beyond. She looked after my dog recently, and I was so impressed with how quickly they warmed up to her. She has a natural connection with animals and a calm presence that makes them feel safe. If you’re looking for someone dependable, kind, and great with pets, she’s the one!”

Christine O.

She is a reputable RVT wich makes me feel even more at peace knowing that my fur babies are in good hands! Highly recommend her!”
