“Azia was amazing. She was so great during the meet and greet. Really cared about making sure Jones was well taken care of and follows his typical routine! I loved the pictures she sent! 10/10 recommend”

About: I’ve had pets in my care my whole life and grew up in a home with more animals than humans. Through family fostering, I’ve cared for pets of all ages, from puppies to seniors. I’m reliable, loving, and committed to providing safe, attentive care! I’m currently working part-time for an hour or two a day! I am available all mornings and afternoons! I am able to come some evenings depending on day or time! I prioritize safety, trust, and a calm environment for every pet. I don’t offer boarding, but I have reliable transportation to come to you. I’m compassionate, dependable, and absolutely love animals.
About: What sets me apart is the genuine love and one on one attention I give every pet. I treat your dog or cat like family, not just a job. I also send daily updates with photos so you always feel connected and reassured. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness are my top priorities. Pet care is a big part of my daily routine because I’m home full-time. This allows me to give pets my full attention whether it’s regular walks, playtime, feedings, or just keeping them company. I create a calm, loving environment where they feel safe and cared for, just like they would at home. At my home, pets get plenty of love, playtime, and a calm space to relax. I make sure they feel at home with cozy spots to rest and a safe environment to explore. When I care for pets in a client’s home, I stick closely to their usual routine so they feel secure and stress free. I treat every pet like my own, whether I’m in their space or they’re in mine.

“Alyssa is great and handles our Samson really well! She is on time and walks our dog for most of the drop in, letting out energy while our family is out of the house. Samson comes back happy and content.”

About: I have had a cat in my life since I was 5 years old. Almost all of them passed away from old age. The oldest was 17 years. For dogs, I was never able to have one growing up. We didn't have the room for one. But I have family members that had dogs and was able to help take care of them. I have dog sat for many years. During that time I would either pop in for a walk or stay with them for a few days. Now that I have a family, it's difficult to house/animal sit at other people's homes, but animals are always welcome in my home. I am currently not working. My days are filled with my 3 and 1/2-year-old daughter. I am showing her how to take care of animals. I take her to school on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I am mostly home or going to walks or going to a park. I have a fenced yard and currently do not have a dog. I do have one cat that is mostly outdoors. I do have a medium size crate if your dog requires one. Animals are allowed on any of the furniture as long as it's not a table or a kitchen counter. I do have a small animal door leading to the backyard. I can close this off if need be.
“We had a great experience hiring Marta for our two shihtzus. She was easy to communicate with and we appreciated her professionalism! We love that she sent photo updates while we were gone, it assured us that our pups were safe & happy! She will be our go-to dog sitter for all future trips!”

“Second time having Melissa visit Sega and we’re still happy with her services. Sega’s warmed up to her and we’re glad to have someone who can take care of Sega when we’re not around.”

About: Hi, I have about 6 years of experience in pet care! I have so much free time on my hands and would love to build a relationships with your dog/cat, and also be here to help you out with your pet needs. I’m able to feed, water, play, take them for walks/runs, and simply provide company for your pet. I have a huge heart for animals and truly enjoy being around them. If you’re in need of someone to watch your pet for you, please feel free to reach out as they’ll be loved by me like they’re my own :) I have a lot of extra time on my hands during the week. Watching your pet for you would be the perfect addition to my day and gives me something to do which I enjoy. Your pet is welcome here anytime Pets are allowed on furniture. My cat is an indoor cat. I like to keep Ace inside because of the wildlife outside. I know cats are hunters but I feel as if his safety is 10x better and able to be observed, when he’s inside with me. He is on a great schedule when it comes to food and water and baths are a must! He’s spoiled rotten and has all the toys in the world. He has his own bed but somehow ends up with me every night- he’s very clingy. If I’m watching a bigger dog, Ace will usually sit and watch from a distance and mind his business. If I’m watching a smaller dog, Ace might want to sniff for a little bit then end up wanting to play! If he doesn’t like the dog, he’ll run off and hide or lay at a window by himself where he won’t get bothered. If your dog isn’t well with cats, I AM able to put Ace into another room where they can be separated for the time being :)

About: Hi! I’m Allyson — a college student and lifelong dog lover who misses her own pups back home. I have a senior lab and a playful puppy, so I’m experienced with dogs of all ages and personalities. I’m available most days and would love to help families care for their pets, whether that means walks, playtime, or some extra love while you’re away. I know how special our pets are, and I’ll treat yours with the same care and affection I give my own. If you’re looking for someone dependable, caring, and truly excited to spend time with your furry family members — I’d love to help! 🐾 I'm a college student with a fairly flexible schedule, so I have plenty of time to play, bond with, and care for your pets throughout the day. I'm happy to follow any house rules or special requests to make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for. Whether I’m in my home or yours, I focus on maintaining their routine—feeding, walks, playtime, and any meds if needed. I treat every pet like family and aim to create a calm, loving environment so they feel right at home.

About: I’ve been an animal lover, my whole life, and I’ve grown up around them since I was young. I also have an immense amount of experience as I’ve worked at a vet hospital as a kennel technician and have experience working on my old school’s farm. I’ve also been at pet sitting since I was 14. My experience at the Vet Hospital, however, has shown me how to work with animals with different temperaments as well as administer medication if needed. This allows me to take care of your furry family in any state they may be in emotionally or physically. I currently am working part time so I have plenty of time to take care of your furry (or not) friend. I can work with whatever schedule you wish to ensure the most optimal care for your pets. I offer service to take care of your animals in your home or take them on outings throughout the day. I however, would not be bringing them to my house as I have my own pets and rent. I would be happy to stay overnight to take care of your pets as well if you so wish.
About: I have been taking care of cats all my life as well as taking care of my friends and families dogs while on vacation or whatnot. I love all animals and make sure to be very gentle and patient with any pet. I am currently a student at Cal State Monterey Bay, this semester I am taking mostly morning classes making my afternoons and nights free for dog sitting, house sitting, or dog walking! Weekdays work fine, I may just need to drive and attend my classes then I can get right back to your pet. I have had many cats in my house growing up which I was in charge of feeding, litter, water, and getting them inside at night. I have fostered a dog before for a few months as well which was a wonderful experience. I have always gone about being patient with animals and am always very respectful with my home and my animals, and of course especially respectful with another persons home and animals.
“Outstanding pet care and love. AC really took of my cat, Stella, dropping in to see her a few times during the week. She genuinely cares about animals and you can tell from the way she greets and talks with them. I really appreciated her communication and pictures she shared while I was on my work trip.”
“Andrea was amazing and so kind! My dogs loved staying at her place for 6 hours while we did some touristy things around the area. She’s very responsive and gave me updates and pictures throughout the time they were there. I highly recommend having her watch your dogs!!”

About: My dogs have passed and at this stage in our lives we travel to visit our children and grandchildren and so it's not reasonable for us to have our own dogs anymore. Instead when we're home we Foster dogs, we have fostered over 100 dogs for Monterey Bay Lab rescue. And we watch dogs for our friends. Rover gives us an opportunity to watch dogs for you and let you come to the Monterey peninsula or go camping or to family events or wherever you need to to go knowing that your dog is in our home and being loved completely. A home away from home for your dog. I promise. I work from home with a laptop on my lap sitting on a couch. All the dogs always love to sit next to me and snuggle and sleep and they love the fact that that's just what I do all day. They wander out to our little backyard area because we keep the door wide open and it's right next to the couch. They can bring their own toys but we also have a ton of toys. If you're from out of town, you can bring your dog to Carmel and go to the beach and Carmel Beach is the best for dogs. And then you can drop your dog off with me and you can go to the Monterey Bay aquarium or go out to dinner or do whatever you want. I'm a professor at our local University, my husband travels for business so he's gone a lot. I would love to have your dogs as companions during the days or nights. At our house dogs can go on the couches, they can sleep on the bed, they pretty much have the going to Grandma's house experience. I don't mix and match dogs unless I've watched them for a long time and I know they're all going to get along together. I like to just have one at a time or if two come in from a family, two is fine. Even three is okay if they're coming from the same family and they all like each other. We do have a dog park about a half a block away so if the dog is one that likes dog parks, we can do that. I will say from my fostering experience for the last 16 years, dogs normally do great when they meet someone who is just going to love them unconditionally. It's funny because the rescue organization gives me the dogs that need quiet and safe, loving and space to just decompress. So if your dog likes to just chill and you want to go, have a great adventure on your own and know that your baby is safe. I am definitely the pet sitter for you I teach online so I'm very rarely out of the house. I'm usually sitting on my couch with my laptop. I have a nice fenced-in back yard / patio area and I leave the door wide open to the back all the time, And the door is literally 2 ft from the couch. The dogs can come and go safely. I just love to have a dog snuggling up with me on the couch while I'm working. My husband teases me that we can't walk anywhere without me stopping and petting and talking and scratching every dog I see. I have a fenced in small backyard. I leave the door open between my living room and the backyard so the dogs can come and go. Some dogs love to just lay in the sun on the back pavers other dogs just go out to go to the bathroom while other dogs won't go out unless I go out and sit with them. It's very very safe

Azia was wonderful with my two girls. It was a tricky senior and puppy dynamic, but she was very accommodating and so sweet to both my girls. She gave me the support I needed to enjoy my day trip. I knew that my girls were being well cared for. I could not recommend her enough!

I have used many house sitters over the years, and none of them compare to Delila. From the very beginning, her communication was exceptional. She kept me consistently updated, responded promptly, and made it clear that my home and pets were always a priority. I never once had to wonder how things were going — she was proactive, thoughtful, and incredibly thorough. Delila went above and beyond in every way. She sent frequent photos and updates that gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. It wasn’t just a quick check-in; she truly took the time to make sure everything was cared for exactly as I would have done myself — if not better. What sets Delila apart is the extra effort she naturally puts in. She doesn’t just “house sit” — she genuinely cares. My home was left immaculate, my pets were clearly happy and comfortable, and every small detail was handled with care and intention. It is rare to find someone this reliable, trustworthy, and attentive. Delila exceeded every expectation, and I would not hesitate for a second to have her back. If you’re considering her, know that you are in the best possible hands.

Andrea was amazing and so kind! My dogs loved staying at her place for 6 hours while we did some touristy things around the area. She’s very responsive and gave me updates and pictures throughout the time they were there. I highly recommend having her watch your dogs!!
