About: I’ve been around dogs and cats my whole life. I learned at a young age that pets bring me the biggest joy. Whether it’s feeding, playing, bathing, or just hanging out seems like the perfect time for me. I currently have an open schedule and am open for any opportunity that comes! What a better way to spend most of me free time getting to know your furry friend! I live in a 1 bedroom and have two very friendly and sassy cats. My apartment has two floor to ceiling windows that face a huge tree with plenty of birds stoping by that my cats love and am sure yours will too. About: Originally from Kentucky, based in NYC for the past 10 years. About: I have been a pet lover my whole life, and have spent lots of time taking care of friends' pets over the years, including both cats and dogs. For my own pets, I have two male cats, brothers named Malfi and Skye, who I obsess over and treat like my sons. I work from home so my schedule is pretty flexible. I can be available weekdays and weekends and am happy to work with you to find a time that works. While I love both dogs and cats, I also know that they are very different animals with different needs. I know how problematic it can be when someone tries to handle a cat like they would a dog, and I always follow the cat's lead on how they want to be interacted with, whether that's a respectful distance or friendly belly rubs, and I always give a cat as much time as they need to become comfortable with me. I'm happy to drop on to feed pets, clean litter boxes, play with them, or just spend time with them if they just need some human company. I also love walking dogs and am happy to take them for a stroll.

While my apartment is small, your dog’s care will prioritize outdoor time, play, and movement—unless you request otherwise. Indoors, I do not require crating, but I gently redirect dogs to keep them off furniture. I believe in consistency and reinforcing positive habits, and I avoid repeating ineffective commands, as this can dilute their meaning. I apply techniques from The Art of Raising a Puppy by the Monks of New Skete, including the importance of calm leadership, clear boundaries, and patient correction through redirection. Dogs thrive when they understand what’s expected of them, and I work hard to maintain that structure. Most importantly, I genuinely love dogs—they bring me joy, and I’ll treat yours with the same care and love I would my own.
