“Stache came back from a weekend at Patricia's happy and exhausted from all the fun he had. Patricia stayed in constant communication and shared messages and photos throughout his stay. She followed his detailed care instructions perfectly. We will use Patricia again in the future to watch our sweet four legged babies.”

“Juliana was truly exceptional. I received thoughtful daily updates with pictures, which made such a difference while I was away. My dog was clearly comfortable, happy, and well looked after. Reliable, caring, and professional— I would absolutely book again.”

“My standard poodle has stayed with Rebecca twice now. She sends tons of photos and videos and is super communicative which I really appreciate. Finn was really excited to see her again and that says it all to me. Definitely a sitter I trust and hope to use again!”

About: I’m very experienced with puppies/kittens. I’ve rescued several kittens over the years, and fostered them as well. I have volunteered at no kill shelters in the past. I’m currently working from home so pet care fits into my schedule very well. I am an early riser so i am available early mornings as well as evenings. I care for pets in my home by showing them unconditional love, and attention, along with making sure they are always comfortable. Making them feel at home is my number one priority!
“Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I have an ESA pitbull mix and we both have some anxiety issues. Together we've come a long way. I don't travel for work much and had a day trip that required an overnight stay for Nico. I reached out to Christine with very little notice (day before) and she agreed to watch Nico for me. Pit bulls very much get a bad rap and I'm so glad and fortunate to have found an advocate of the breed that knows their inherent sweetness, beauty, intelligence and gentle souls.”

“Carly was awesome had place to go out of town and other sitter canceled at last minute and Carly was able to watch my pup she was very good with her highly recommended five stars sent update pictures my phone had a lot of fun there no issues”

“Yuico took excellent care of Zoë. She provided regular updates with photos. Zoë was a happy pupper when we picked her up. Thank you for taking care of her Yuico.”

“Dana was the best sitter we could ask for! She was super communicative and shared lots of photos. Our dog clearly had a fantastic time and we will absolutely bring him back for our next vacation!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Clifton Heights
We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter! From the moment we dropped our dog off, we knew he was in great hands. She cared for him like he was one of her own, giving him so much love, attention, and care while we were away on vacation. The best part was seeing how much fun he had with her pup! They became the sweetest playmates, and it was clear he was happy, comfortable, and well cared for the entire time. We loved receiving updates and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. If you’re looking for someone who will truly treat your dog like family, look no further. We are so grateful and will absolutely book with Sarah again. Thank you for taking such amazing care of our boy!
Robbie and Shelby were very responsive and communicative. They were responsive to the information provided about our pets, especially with Baxter who is an anxious boy who just needs a little extra love to settle in. They sent great updates with videos and pictures and kept me posted on how everyone was doing.

Chrissy is amazing to work with. I love her home away from home approach. She gathered information and details about Plum's daily routine. Her updates and feedback about Plum were fun and professional. Plum had a fantastic day. I never had to request an update or status. Chrissy sent timely updates. Chrissy is genuinely caring. We are so grateful to have found her.

Thank you for taking such great care of our dog while we were on vacation! Rachel and her husband are wonderful sitters! Without fail, we received pictures and/or videos daily, letting us know that Winston was doing well and having a good time. We look forward to continuing the relationship with Rachel and her husband in the future.

I can’t recommend Alexandra enough! She has been taking care of my dog, Milo, for quite some time now, and I always have complete peace of mind knowing he’s in her care. She and family truly treat Milo like he’s their own. He’s always so well cared for, loved, and honestly spoiled in the best way possible. It’s clear that she genuinely cares about the animals she watches, and it shows in everything she does. She’s reliable, kind, attentive, and always keeps me updated, which means so much. Milo is always happy to see her, and that says it all. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your pet like family, she’s the one. I wholeheartedly recommend her!

Kaelin is very sweet and attentive to your pets , I left my cat with her and she would constantly update me on her whether if it was photos or messaging me just how she was. My cat is a little shy so she was nervous but Kaelin was very sweet to her, would definitely recommend .

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
