From puppyhood to his senior years, our daily walks, playtime, and belly rubs were some of my favorite ways to connect and spend quality time together. Over the years, friends, family members and neighbors have also trusted me to care for their pets while they were away. I work full time during the week, so I’m available for walks after 5pm on weekdays and anytime on weekends. I understand how important it is to maintain your pet’s routine in a familiar environment, and I always aim to create a calm, comfortable, and safe experience. During visits, I follow your instructions closely, ensure your pet is fed, exercised, and given plenty of attention, and keep you updated with regular check-ins. Daily walks were one of my favorite bonding activities with my dog, Sparky, so I truly understand how important they are for both physical health and mental stimulation. Whether your pup loves a leisurely stroll or a more energetic walk, I tailor each outing to their pace and personality. Safety is my top priority. I make sure the leash is secure, stay alert to surroundings making sure it is a safe area to walk in, and follow your dog’s routine and preferences. I make sure walks are not only safe but also enjoyable, giving your dog a chance to explore, exercise and return home happy and relaxed.

About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs since childhood. I have almost a decade of dog walking and pet sitting experience. I know how important animals are to their owners and treat them as such. Currently, I am only doing pet sitting and dog walking as my full time job so I have a lot of time to take care of your pet’s needs. I babysit small animals at my home but bigger animals I go to the client’s home due to lack of space at my home for bigger animals. I also find that it helps the pet get use to me if I am in their environment .

About: I had pets when I was younger and grew up having responsibilities of taking care and being attentive to the care of animals in my life. I am a college student on summer break, I would love to go out for walks and giving your pets the attention that I can give due to my flexible schedule. I have a spacious backyard and being close to a park is wonderful to go on long walks or just let your pets run around.

About: I grew up in the Philippines from when I was born till I was 19. And for those years we have always had a dog in the house. Most at one time was 6 dogs. All are trained and well taken care of from the moment they were born or adopted. Giving them their best lives is all that they deserve from us, these furry friends will love us unconditionally. It’s my job to make sure that they feel that same love back. I am currently working part time on a few jobs around the Montclair/Bloomfield area. I plan to return to school for my doctorate but for the mean time caring for pets have always been a love of mine and I will do my very best to make sure your little (or big) buddies get the attention they require. Depending on the breed of dog and their individual energy levels, their playtimes would vary from either indoor activities like tug of war, sensory activities like training their sense of smell with treats, or more outdoor backyard stuff like fetch, making sure all their zoomies are taken outside before they cause a mess inside the house. Making sure that each pet is well stimulated and given and good amount of food and water after tends to get them in a lot calmer mood as the sun begins to dim

“Stefanie was our first in-home dog-sitter and our experience with her (and the Rover app) was top notch. Stefanie was quick to reply to our messages, and she was able to be flexible when our plans changed at the last minute. More importantly, Stefanie was amazing with our Great Dane puppy! A 90 pound puppy who is able to knock over small humans and eat food out of the kitchen sink - this is no small pet-sitting gig lol. Stefanie came over to our house for a meet & greet - she was calm, informed, and kind with our dog from the start. We had been worried about leaving our dog and our home with a new person, but Stefanie put our minds at ease. While we were gone, she kept in touch with us, sending photos and updates several times per day. When we arrived back, we were delighted to find a very happy dog and a house that was cleaner than when we'd left! Stefanie definitely deserves all the stars!! We will be asking for her help again soon!”
