About: I loveee animals. I grew up with many pets from cute little bunnies, turtles, lizards, birds, dogs and everything in between. I’m very caring which will show in everything I do. Your babies will be my babies, I promise :) I currently work full-time as an elementary teacher. I’m available for boarding your babes on weekends, and weekdays after 4pm. Sometimes I’m off on holidays and I would board then as well. We will always have a great time. Your babe will be free to roam my apartment under my supervision, of course. I also have a large yard, but will keep him on a leash. I can also crate him or her if you prefer. Either way, we will have tons of fun together.

About: Pets have always been part of my life. I've had dogs, cats, goldfish, betta fish, hamsters, bunnies, and chinchillas. Currently in my care are the adorable bunny brother-and-sister duo I call the Wonder Twins, a senior Staffie mix who doesn’t like going down the shore so we’re weekend buddies, and Sassafrass, the “fraidy" cat. Each of these animals has its own rhythm and needs, and I've learned to pay close attention to what makes each one comfortable, whether that's a quiet room, a clean habitat, or a gentle, familiar routine. Since I'm retired, my days have a lot of natural flexibility built in. I can offer morning, midday, and evening visits throughout the week, not just squeezed-in slots around a nine-to-five. Pet care isn't something I fit around my life. It's become one of the things I structure my life around, alongside my own dog, Mojo. All of my care happens in your home, not mine. I come to you for dog walks and feeding visits, so your pet stays in their own familiar space with their own food, bed, and routine. For dogs, that means a walk at their pace around your neighborhood. For cats and smaller pets, it means fresh food and water, litter box or habitat cleaning, and some quiet one-on-one attention. At this time, I don't board pets in my own home. Keeping care in your space is part of what keeps things low-stress for your pet and simple for you.

About: I have two pets of my own, a cat and a dog. I know the needs to take care of both of them and would find it easier to handle yours. Worked at a pet hotel for a couple weeks and dealt with a variety of dogs (even cats) and know that each pet can be different and I'm ready to accustomed to your pet to ensure they feel comfortable and safe! I currently work at a nightshift so I would prefer to work during the evening. Depending on my schedule I would be able to work nightshifts on Tuesdays, Saturdays and Wednesdays. My dog is very playful and would enjoy having a bit of fun with yours! My cat is shy to newcomers so it might not interact with your pet.

About: I have always been involved in pet care in my home for over 15 years. I have had experience with elderly dogs and cats of my own. I have pet-sitted in my neighborhood for puppies and for breeds different from my own dogs. I will use my energy to play with your pet and hopefully decrease their energy. I am starting graduate school and I have a flexible schedule and availability for stop-ins during the day or bringing study materials to a client’s home. My yard is fenced in and I can take dogs for a walk in Brookdale Park nearby. I will administer medicine and play with dogs and provide them with a cuddly environment.

About: As a lifelong dog owner and lover I have always taken care of not only my own but been a go-to sitter for my friends cats and dogs. I currently have a 4 yr old yellow lab who may be 100 lbs but he thinks he’s a lap dog nonetheless. I love big dogs as I have always had a large dog in the house but small dogs steal my heart too. I have an extremely flexible schedule. As a real estate agent I am only in the office/area that I work on random days here and there. Most days I am home, going to the gym, or spending time with family and friends, so pet care can be at any time throughout the day. I will always care for your pet and home. Any instructions that you give I will follow, I want your pet to enjoy their time with me as much as I enjoy my time with them!

About: Hey there! My wife (Sam) and I (Jen) are an animal-loving couple, and looking for a new way to spend our afternoons with some furry friends. Our days can be pretty flexible as Sam and I both work from home, and we thought what better way to earn a little extra cash while doing something we're both passionate about! We both have a decent amount of experience caring for both dogs and cats! Pablo (9 years) and Boots (8 years) are our two ever-loving boy cats that we adore a little too much. Sam and I grew up with dogs, and also frequently dog sit for our neighbors and friends. We'd love to have the opportunity to meet your fur baby and care for them! :) Sam and I work from home, so our schedules are pretty flexible! We’re able to take multiple breaks for playtime, walks, cuddles, feeding, etc. We love having furry company while we work - it’s a win/win! We are very attentive and to our boys’ needs at home and we’ll always bring that level of attention and care to every pet we look after. Whether it comes to strategically placing a sunny perch for their lazy afternoon lounging, to buying them a new set of toys because they get ruined every couple of months, their comfort, happiness and safety is our priority. We’ll take the time to learn your pet’s personality, routines, and individual needs so they feel as comfortable and at home as possible. About: I’ve grown up around dogs and cats throughout my entire life whether it was for working families, friends and neighbors in NJ! For a few years, I used to volunteer at the local animal shelter where I’d help bathe kittens, take their dogs outside and play with our furry friends seeking homes. Being around younger or older pets for years has allowed me to pick up signs and stay calm if accidents happen, whether your pet missed the litter box or regurgitated their meal. I’m always glad to help out where and when I can! I mostly work from home where I have a bit more control over my schedule. Early mornings or late evenings are always flexible! If I receive enough notice, I’m glad to accommodate your pets needs throughout the day on any weekday or weekends as well! I have prior experience being with a wide range of larger outdoor pets and smaller indoor pets who are cage trained or not. I’m glad to keep them company, spend time with their favorite toys and make sure they’re cleaned up after! From previous experience, I have a keen eye on a pets body language and can get a sense if some may need more space than others. However, I’ll always be accommodating if some pets need to let their energy out more than others! Similar to my own cat, on a daily basis, I make sure to set aside 30 minutes of play time with them in the day time and the evening to lessen the “zoomies”!

About: I'm originally from Bolivia, and animals have given my life a deep sense of purpose. At 15, I rescued my first dog. Sadly, I couldn’t save him — but that moment changed my life. I promised myself I would help as many animals as I could. Since then, I’ve rescued and rehomed over 70 stray animals, two now live in Virginia, and five are still with my family in Bolivia. Through this journey, I’ve cared for animals in critical physical and emotional conditions — including senior dogs needing special medical care, mothers with puppies, and dogs with disabilities. This experience has given me deep knowledge of comprehensive animal care and a strong sense of empathy and patience. I also studied tourism and launched a pet-friendly travel business in Bolivia, planning and leading unforgettable 2–3 day trips with up to 25 dogs. I have strong experience managing groups of dogs in large, open spaces such as hiking trails, green parks, and even on buses during transport. These adventures were designed to create joyful, safe, and enriching experiences for both pets and people. Although I currently can’t have pets at home due to housing restrictions, animals remain at the center of my heart. Working with them allows me to stay connected to what brings me the most happiness. I offer care rooted in real experience, deep compassion, and a lifelong love for these incredible beings. I’m currently studying as I prepare to begin a career in education, so my schedule is very flexible and allows me to accommodate last-minute calls or changes. Going for walks is already part of my daily routine — I enjoy walking long distances, so combining that habit with dog walking feels like a perfect match. I also have the freedom to study from anywhere, which means I can easily spend time in homes or outdoor spaces while caring for pets, giving them the attention and companionship they need throughout the day. At the moment, I’m unable to care for pets in my home due to housing restrictions. However, I’m fully available to care for pets in my clients’ homes or during walks and drop-in visits. I always provide gentle, respectful, and attentive care, making sure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved in their own space.

About: I grew up with 3 Shiba Inus for close to 17 years and now have 2 cats of my own, Pepper Jack and Colbie Jacqueline. I have extensive experience with special needs dogs as my Shibas had varying disabilities ranging from mobility related to medication needing and eventually to doggy dementia. For around 4 years I worked at a high end pet resort/daycare. Though my main responsibility was taking photographs of the pets, I would assist with walking, grooming, and monitoring activities. While there, I had experience with animals of all ages. I continue to do freelance pet photography. As a recent MFA graduate, I am currently splitting my time between teaching classes/events at a ceramics studio and working within my own art studio. As my schedule varies and is very moveable, I can make myself available for you and your pets! When I come into your home, I will have the utmost care and respect for both the space itself and for your pets’ comfortability as a guest in their safe space.
