“Michael was great! My dog can be kinda crazy but he had no issues at all and made me feel very comfortable that he would be able to handle her. Booking was very smooth and he was very accommodating, kind, and easy to coordinate with, and always quick to respond. We will be booking Michael again!”

“Eva is warm and caring individual who took care of our two cats while we were away. I felt they were in good hands and I would always reach out to her when we are away. What a treat for the family”

“My pups ??(and Furby?) and I had a wonderful visit with Stefanie yesterday. We were all really happy! Such a blessing to have this opportunity to work Stefanie again in the future! Thank you so much! :)”
“Elissa was great. She was friendly and asked a lot of questions during the meet and greet. During the drop in, she gave the pups good playtime outdoors and they ate well. Arya and Yoshi had no signs of stress when we arrived home.”

“Geoff is amazing with our puppy and very accommodating. Geoff’s gentle, patient and calm demeanor is exactly what our puppy needs and responds to best. In fact, we needed Geoff for a last minute drop in and he was able to accommodate our request despite his own busy schedule he was able to make it work. Working with Geoff is great and we’re going to continue working with him to care for our puppy. Thank you Geoff!!”

About: I have been an animal lover all of my life. I grew up with cats, caring for my beloved Walter until he passed at 20 years old. I have since had the pleasure of my own Lab (now 10) as well as experience in Doggy Day Care where I was playroom manager and responsible for dogs anywhere from 1-20 in one playroom at a time(room combo of an average of 45-55 dogs in the whole building split between rooms and size).I am looking forward to more one on one relationships with families and their pets. I am looking forward to a career as a Vet Technician, and plan to take classes in the Fall. At the moment, I am wide open to spend time with local pets as I prepare to return to school. My plan come Fall will be part time classes and more time animals. Pet care will be my priority in my weekly routine. I always spend time in advance with the fur babies to get to know them and importantly, discuss the pet parents' needs. Do they need special food? Special training at meals for over excited pups? How much do they like to play/walk? Do they like to interact with other pets or prefer to stay one on one with me? I am also extremely responsible in the homes of pet parents, cleaning up after the babies as well as making sure the home is secure.
“Johnny has done an amazing job with our dog and for us. He is responsible, prompt, and has great follow-up with the animal owner. With the dog he is kind, patient, and interactive. Great experience all around.”

“Kyra is wonderful! She is so patient with my very unsocial cat and she is one of the few people in the world he is truly comfortable around and even goes in for pets. With Kyra your pet is in the best hands possible! 😻”

“Marc has been great since he started checking in and walking the boys. Super nice and asks plenty of questions to make sure they’re well taken care of when he stops by. I highly recommend using Marc!”
About: I have always been involved in pet care in my home for over 15 years. I have had experience with elderly dogs and cats of my own. I have pet-sitted in my neighborhood for puppies and for breeds different from my own dogs. I will use my energy to play with your pet and hopefully decrease their energy. I have a very flexible schedule since graduating college and applying to graduate school nearby. I have lots of time and availability for stop-ins during the day or bringing study materials to a client’s home. My yard is fenced in and I can take dogs for a walk in Brookdale Park nearby. I will administer medicine and play with dogs and provide them with a cuddly environment.
“Ashley doesn't just take care of our two high-maintenance cats - she makes sure everything in the house is safe, secure, and comfortable while we are away! I know it's all in good hands when Ashley is here.”

“Cassie is a phenomenal pet sitter! She took care of our 2 cats for a week while we were gone and was very kind and in tune with them. She went above and beyond making sure to play with them each day too. Cassie is reliable and very friendly to coordinate with. We feel lucky to have found such a great pet sitter for future trips as well.”

“Kevin did an amazing job sitting for my pup. He was very responsive and professional, and even allowed some last minute requests. I would definitely recommend him. I will definitely ask for his help in the future if needed.”

About: I have fostered & boarded dogs over the last four years and have a dog of my own. I’m experienced with dogs of all shapes, sizes and special accommodations. Your dog will be at home, spoilt and will be cared for with and like my own dog. I work from home and am available the whole day to care for your furbaby. I provide playtime, enrichment, walking and potty breaks as needed. Your dog will always have the supervised company of my friendly dog. S/he will be allowed on all the furniture and can be crated if needed!
“Kelly is the absolute best. This was our first time on Rover, and her communications were clear and quick, and she did great work reassuring us that our pup was in good hands. Loved the photographs, and really appreciated the time she took to communicate with us by phone and by text. We’re only slightly concerned that our pup now likes her more than us! 😀 Hugely impressed with Kelly - she’ll take fab care of your pups.”

About: My name is Alice, and I have 20+ years of experience with dogs of all breeds & ages. I'm a work-from-home registered nurse, licensed dog walker, and doggie foster mom. I share a home with my wife (she's also at home full-time) and 2 sweet beagles. We limit group sizes, so your pup will have lots of personal attention throughout the day. You can expect plenty of updates with videos and pictures so you can truly relax while you're away. Our schedules are flexible. Doggies are a HUGE part of our day. We love going on walks and being out in the yard. We're super interactive with every dog who stays with us and will suit their unique preferences: fetch, socialization, tug of war, quiet time, cuddles, you name it! Drop-off & Pickup Times: Doggy Day Care 8am - 6pm Overnight Boarding Dropoff after 8am, Pickup before 7pm We have a GIANT flat yard that's fully fenced in for sniffs, fetch, and frolicking. Our doggie guests are treated like family. We have beds throughout the house so everyone can roam and lounge freely. But we can also accommodate shy pups who want a space to themselves. They get plenty of play, supervised yard time, treats, and affection. At the end of the day, our pups are happy campers, and their parents rest easy knowing that they're always excited to return! For those with special needs, such as administering injections or medications, my medical training comes in super handy!!

Jade was exceptional! Her communication and photos the whole time were perfect and she bonded so well with my cat. I would absolutely work with Jade again the next time I need a cat sitter. She asked questions and got to know my cat and her habits during our meet and greet and followed all instructions we left perfectly!

Nicole is so patient, kind, and friendly. My pets are all older and I could immediately see upon meeting her that she would be the best fit. My apartment was tidy and the dishes she used were washed and on the counter. I couldn't have asked for anything better. I highly recommend Nicole!

Geoff took excellent care of our two cats, Dexter and DeeDee, while we were away on vacation for a week. He was reliable, followed all of our instructions, and kept us updated after each visit with photos and messages, which gave us great peace of mind. We came home to two happy, well-cared-for cats, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book Geoff again. Highly recommended!

Melissa took wonderful care of my cat, Tia! She was reliable, communicative, and sent thoughtful updates and photos throughout my trip, which gave me great peace of mind. Tia was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for when I got home. I highly recommend Melissa and will definitely book with her again!

Tracy and Steven were awesome—our pets were clearly in great hands. They really took the time to bond with them, playing with our dog and giving lots of attention and cuddles to our cats. They showed up three times a day like clockwork and even grabbed a couple packages from the front door, which we really appreciated. The updates and photos after each visit were thoughtful and reassuring. It made a big difference not having to worry about our animal children while we were away. We’d definitely book them again.

I was very happy with Jenny as my cat sitter. She was very thorough with feeding the kitties and took a lot of time to brush Sweetheart and give her lots of attention. Shadow even came out a few times, something she rarely does. Jenny did a great job keeping the litter pan clean and throwing away the garbage. She also brought my mail in. I received a nice note daily as well as several photos. I would recommend her highly.

Jonny did a wonderful job taking care of our two cats for a few days! There were no issues while we were gone and he kept us updated with photos and messages throughout the stay. Jonny’s calm demeanor provided enough safety for even our shyest cat to come out and interact with him! Would definitely book again!

My cat Huckleberry LOVES Jenette. It may sound like a small thing but if you don’t provide compelling playtime, he won’t give you the time of day. Jenette really puts in the work with him and he has a great time with her. Can’t say enough good things. Jenette is the BEST!

Kaitlin went truly above and beyond for us. During this visit she wasn’t feeling well and couldn’t drive, yet instead of canceling, she arranged for a family member to bring her so our cats would still be cared for. We were incredibly grateful for the extra effort and thoughtfulness she showed. Kaitlin has demonstrated her dedication and commitment time and again, and we feel very lucky to have her caring for our cats. We trust her completely and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter.

Andrea was an incredibly responsive and attentive cat sitter! She stepped in during a time of need and truly went above and beyond my expectations. I felt completely at ease knowing my cat was in such caring hands. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate sitter.

I book with Karen all the time. She knows what she is doing and she is very thoughtful. There was a power outage when I was gone and she thought to tell me while I was away. She was concerned about the automatic feeder. She also made sure that the cans I had for Sheba were put aside for recycling.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
