“First Impressions Boarding my dog, Lilly, with someone outside the family for the first time made me a little nervous. My granddaughter, who had used Rover before, helped me submit the application and choose a sitter. Even on the way to drop Lilly off, I still felt apprehensive, but that quickly changed when Teresa gave us such a warm welcome and Lilly and I were greeted by Teresa’s three friendly dogs. Although Lilly seemed a bit overwhelmed at first, she soon relaxed after playing in Teresa’s large backyard, and I felt comfortable leaving her there. Updates During Her Stay Teresa reassured me that Lilly would be well cared for and promised to keep me updated. She followed through by sending photos and notes about how Lilly was sleeping, eating, and taking her medicine, which I really appreciated. Pickup and Overall Experience When I picked Lilly up, Teresa told me what a joy she had been to care for. She said Lilly was very sweet, that her daughter had fallen in love with her, and even one of her dogs had taken a liking to her. Teresa also said Lilly would be welcome back anytime. I left feeling grateful for the care Lilly received and would happily trust Teresa with her again.”

This was our quick test to make sure our dog (and we) could handle the separation for a short period of time, as a bridge to boarding her for a longer stretch of time. About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and am comfortable adapting to all personalities ~ from energetic and social to more shy or sensitive. Growing up, our home always had multiple dogs, so I’m very used to different temperaments, routines, and dynamics. I’ve also had hands-on experience supporting pregnant dogs and caring for litters, including situations where extra attention and patience were needed early on. Over time, I’ve learned that every dog is different, and I take the time to understand their behavior, energy, and needs so they feel safe and comfortable. My own dog is very social and friendly, and since we’re new to the area, she would love to make some new friends as well. I’m happy to care for your dog in whatever way they need ~ whether that’s boarding, drop-in visits, or a relaxed walk around your neighborhood. My goal is always to provide dependable care and make the experience easy and stress-free for both you and your pet. I look forward to connecting with you! I currently work full-time in a hybrid remote role. I offer my services on days I’m working from home so I can give your dog consistent attention, supervision, and care throughout the day. If you need boarding services, you can expect that your dog would spend their time lounging in my home with me and my dog, Khalesi. We have a fenced-in dog park within the community, but I prefer to take them on long strolls near the grassy areas so they can get plenty of new smells to sniff.

“I picked up my dog Copper, later last night, after a week’s stay with Desi and Marilyn. I’m not going to lie…I was a little worried about leaving our boy with “strangers”, but when I met D&M, they made me feel at ease after doing our meet and greet. They have a great setup at their house, inside and out, for daytime and overnight “guests”. Desi assured me he was not worried about how any of them would get along and he would introduce Copper slowly. Well, Desi certainly knows what he’s doing (he IS the pack leader) and within a couple of days, Copper was outside playing and running with all of his new doggy friends. They sent videos and/or pictures almost daily, without me asking, and I knew I could msg them right in the app with any concerns. Desi and Marilyn are the real deal. You can tell that this is not just a job for them, but a passion. They are set up and experienced to take on many dogs and still show individual care to each one. When we picked Copper up tonight, he was happy and healthy. What a relief it is to know that I now have a place to bring my dog if/when we decide to go out of town or are helping my ailing mom. If you are looking for a experienced, knowledgeable, safe, fun environment for your doggy, I would not hesitate for a second to bring your fur baby to Desi and Marilyn. My dog had a cone and a lick sleeve and we went for a Meet and Great with Manuel. He was so warm, professional and compassionate to my lil guy. About: Pets have always been part of my life. I've had dogs, cats, goldfish, betta fish, hamsters, bunnies, and chinchillas. Currently in my care are the adorable bunny brother-and-sister duo I call the Wonder Twins, a senior Staffie mix who doesn’t like going down the shore so we’re weekend buddies, and Sassafrass, the “fraidy" cat. Each of these animals has its own rhythm and needs, and I've learned to pay close attention to what makes each one comfortable, whether that's a quiet room, a clean habitat, or a gentle, familiar routine. Since I'm retired, my days have a lot of natural flexibility built in. I can offer morning, midday, and evening visits throughout the week, not just squeezed-in slots around a nine-to-five. Pet care isn't something I fit around my life. It's become one of the things I structure my life around, alongside my own dog, Mojo. All of my care happens in your home, not mine. I come to you for dog walks and feeding visits, so your pet stays in their own familiar space with their own food, bed, and routine. For dogs, that means a walk at their pace around your neighborhood. For cats and smaller pets, it means fresh food and water, litter box or habitat cleaning, and some quiet one-on-one attention. At this time, I don't board pets in my own home. Keeping care in your space is part of what keeps things low-stress for your pet and simple for you.

Over the July 4th weekend, they went above and beyond by sending me adorable photos and updates, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was clear Peanut was so happy, comfortable, and receiving lots of love and individual attention. This was without a doubt the best boarding experience I've ever had. I couldn't recommend Sriram and Rekha highly enough and I will absolutely be booking with them again, Peanut didn't want to leave! I was nervous to leave my dog with new people but they offered a meet and greet days in advanced, had me complete a questionnaire on his feeding, preferences, quirks etc. And provided me with daily updates including pictures.
