About: Hi! I have always loved working with pets. I have owned pets since I was a child and I have dealt with both cats and dogs. I spent time working at a doggy daycare called Ruff Housing and I got to learn further how to take care of a variety of dog types with a variety of personalities. I look forward to getting to spend some time with your pets and giving them all the love when you can't be there! I currently work from home and get to create my own hours so I will have plenty of time to spend time with your pets or make sure I am able to walk them. I enjoy taking some time to go on walks during the day so I would love to include your pet on them! I have a fenced in yard as well as access to a dog park and walking trail. I have two fur babies that love to play and will keep your pup entertained. I can crate dogs as needed! I am willingly to work with any requests to ensure your fur baby has the best time away from home and is safe and cared for in your absence.

About: Hello! I have been pet sitting for 5 years, either staying overnight or just stopping by! I absolutely love watching doggies and helping out when I can. I am able to do whatever you need, I will feed, walk, bathe, etc. i absolutely love meeting new fur babies!! I currently am a student at high point university, majoring in biology. Most of my schedule consists of classes that are about an hour long with hour breaks in between each class. I have a part-time job hosting, only 2 days a week at night time. I am able to take dogs out on a leash, let them out in a yard, crate them, or whatever the plan may be. I can also walk them and pick up after them if preferred! I will give them lots of love and make sure they are comfortable.

About: I’ve had dogs all my life. My oldest is currently 14 (Archie my beagle/wiener dog mix) and soul pup Winston (bluetick beagle/bloodhound mix who passed in 2020). I miss having dogs of my own but know that I cannot dedicate the funds to getting one of my own just yet. I’d would be so happy to spend time with your pup(s) to give them all the love/snuggles I can! I’m very active so expect lots of walks too. I do currently work full time as a graduate student researcher. My days are very variable though. If sitting your dog, I can plan my experiments around their walks/make sure I am home as long as I can be with them! Weekends are certainly preferred though as I cannot escape my classes Tuesday/Thursday/Friday I have a unit right next to my complex’s dog park, so I can let them out to run and play! I do not have crates or bowls for food/water so those would have to be provided (and food/treats too)!

About: I have worked in the Forsyth Humane Society for years and have grown up with all kinds of dogs! I have walked dogs of all sizes and training levels and can maintain them all! I am available for long walks and even runs with dogs if wanted! I will be working a hybrid internship this summer which will allow me to fit dog walks and visits into my day! Safety: Dog-My medium sized Westie (Sallie Mae) needs: Door shut immediately behind me (both glass door and hardwood door). She uses a harness/retractable leash for walks and a collar/retractable leash for short walk around house for fresh air/bathroom break. I am mindful always of any visible items on the floor that may have been dropped and could be of hazard! I also vacuum daily to reach areas under the bed for this reason also. I check that her pet stairs to my bed are placed accordingly to get accessibility to the bed. Food and water are always checked twice daily and located in 2 different parts of the house. Cat- My cat (Baby Muffin) does not try to escape to the outdoors (yet.....), however; as a precaution I rarely open my sliding glass door open largely or for any longer than necessary. I am mindful always of any visible items on the floor that may have been dropped and could be of hazard! I also vacuum daily to reach areas under the bed for this reason also. Food and water are always checked twice daily and located in 2 different parts of the house. I am always aware of her visibility, for example, if she does not appear when I am home or prior to leaving my home; I check for any closed coset doors, cabinets, etc. for a place she may have accidentally been trapped. Trust: Dog-My Westie needs immediate attention and "lovins'" when I walk through the door. Prior to leaving her she is talked to a prepped for me leaving by telling her key statements and then leaving three varieties of chew bones in front of the refrigerator (which she waits for). Trust is provided through routine and consistency. For example, everyday a You Tube video plays a repeating jazz coffee house with ambiance. I also take the measure of saying her name with happy intentions prior to entering my home to ensure she knows it is me at the door. Trust is continuing to repeat the names of her toys daily with playtime and telling her what is happening prior to a walk, etc. or getting close to dinner, bedtime or a ride/walk. Cat-My cat gets talked to immediately when arriving home to ensure she knows just how loved she is! I call her name sweetly and she's petted. She is given cat treats in her special bowl twice a day. At my house, I try to provide trust through routine and consistency. I offer her many places to sleep by herself with her special blankets and provide toys rotated for stimulation (springs, play mice and of course a random paper bag!) Environment: Sallie Mae and Baby Muffin: I have a daily routine where they are give their special treats twice a day, keeping fresh food and water available and rotated, clean bedding for their special sleeping. Our daily routine includes that the TV is left on with YouTube coffee-house jazz ambience and I always provide calming statements of affirmation for them when leaving for the day and again when arriving home. Cat- In the morning, the litterbox is cleaned with scooper and fresh litter is added as needed. I then take that trash out so that litter is not a bad fragrance when returning home. Cat hairballs are discarded as needed and floor area cleaned. Dog- Twice a week I clean a Turf system and relace turfs with clean ones while the others are rinsed and dried. Monthly grooming for her is provided through a mobile service. However; I give Sallie Mae a bath anytime it is needed with special shampoo, tepid warm water with a shower sprayer and then immediately wash and dry her towels that were used.

About: I have never not had a dog in my life. I have owned Labs, Boxers, German Shepherds, Irish Setters, Huskies, and Bulldogs. While only owning larger breeds, I do have experience with smaller dogs. I have worked as a home care professional dealing with older people and their pets, with overnight stays which involved cleaning and meal preparation. Athletics have always been an important part of my life and that carries over to playing with, walking and caring for the dogs. I would say that my biggest weakness is that I often get attached to the dogs, however I would say that is a strength as far as the dogs are concerned. I am very trustworthy and dedicated with a good work history and work ethic. I can currently working full time and also attending UNF full time. My hours vary from day to day, just because of class times, so if you have any questions or concerns, feel free to ask! I don’t offer services in my own home, so I will come to yours. Depending on the yard situation, I love to take dogs outside and run around with them or play fetch with them, just help them get their energy out. Especially if they’ve been kept inside for most of the day! I know my dogs really enjoy this, so I make sure to get that play-time in, while dogsitting. I also know that it is very important to dog owners to get the walk in, everyday. So, I always make sure to listen to those instructions and follow through with them, it’s always good to keep up the routine and the dogs always look forward to it!

About: I’ve had dogs in my life as long as I can remember. I grew up with dogs, and then when I went off to college I volunteered with a service dog training program because I love dogs so much. And finally after I graduated college and went off on my own, I got my own fur baby. I’ll give your fur baby all the love and attention they know and receive from you. We’ll soon become best friends and they will be in great hands! I work from home remotely on a hybrid schedule. I work from home 50% so I can give your pet the attention they need easily! I already take care of my own dog every day so I can take care of yours when needed. I have my own dog, a 25 pound cavapoo named Sirius. He’s friendly and loves making new dog friends. If I watch your pet in my home they can find comfort, toys and all the care they need! I live by myself in an apartment with multiple dog parks, and walking paths nearby. Also I can easily drive to your location to take care of your pet there.
