About: Hello! My name is Abby and I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, and plants since 2015. Pet-sitting truly is my joy!! I have experience checking in on pets during the day time, cleaning litter boxes, taking dogs of all shapes and sizes on walks, and overnight house sitting for up to 2 weeks at a time. I also want to keep to their normal schedule as much as possible, if they’re used to daily walks at certain times or being feed at very particular times then I will make notes to care for them the same way you do. About: I grew up with dogs and have experience giving oral medication, injections (insulin) & IVs under the skin. My Layla passed away in 2017 from encephalitis and she had to get IVs every day on top of other things. We got Bruce in 2018 & Rocky in 2019. They are two peas in a pod..I call them Batman & Robin. They are great with other dogs as my husband and I have had many different breeds and sizes at our home. If your fur baby gets dirty playing in the yard, we will give the a bath (with your permission of course). They will go on daily walks, have a lot of play time since I work from home and I will make sure to send you photos and updates throughout their stay. Communication is extremely important to me. We look forward to meeting you and your furbabies! I am a real estate professional and run a team here in the Triad. I work from home and have the time to care for your fur baby as a majority of my work is from my computer. Rocky and Bruce love having new playmates over as well and we have a large yard for them to run around in 😊 We have a large fenced-in back yard and a deck for them to lounge on. I never let other people’s dogs stay outside unsupervised. If they are outside, I am outside. It’s an extra step of care that is super important to me because sometimes, animals can be unpredictable, see a squirrel or a rabbit and jump the fence etc. We ensure your fur baby is safe.

I have had to put so much time and effort into her training and am watching her become an amazingly happy and well behaved dog (she even knows a bit of sign language!) I also lost a buddy back in July. He was 14 years old and required medication administration many times a day. With him I learned a lot about helping the old guys feel as happy and safe as possible because they are probably scared of the changes they are experiencing in their lives. I am very active and love going on long walks, so having a dog there would just be an extra bit of fun! I am currently in school but only taking a few classes. I'll have time to play with your pups in the evening especially if you need a night off but they still need a walk! I live in an apartment so leashes are crucial. I would never let my own dog off the leash, so I would never put your dog in a situation where something could go wrong. My own dog is quite reactive on the leash, so if I sense that we are approaching a person/dog/object that might trigger her reactivity I usually steer clear of it to avoid any kind of avoidable altercation. I want every dog to feel safe so i will adjust based on what your dog’s body language is telling me.
