About: I grew up with dogs and have experience giving oral medication, injections (insulin) & IVs under the skin. My Layla passed away in 2017 from encephalitis and she had to get IVs every day on top of other things. We got Bruce in 2018 & Rocky in 2019. They are two peas in a pod..I call them Batman & Robin. They are great with other dogs as my husband and I have had many different breeds and sizes at our home. If your fur baby gets dirty playing in the yard, we will give the a bath (with your permission of course). They will go on daily walks, have a lot of play time since I work from home and I will make sure to send you photos and updates throughout their stay. Communication is extremely important to me. We look forward to meeting you and your furbabies! I am a real estate professional and run a team here in the Triad. I work from home and have the time to care for your fur baby as a majority of my work is from my computer. Rocky and Bruce love having new playmates over as well and we have a large yard for them to run around in 😊 We have a large fenced-in back yard and a deck for them to lounge on. I never let other people’s dogs stay outside unsupervised. If they are outside, I am outside. It’s an extra step of care that is super important to me because sometimes, animals can be unpredictable, see a squirrel or a rabbit and jump the fence etc. We ensure your fur baby is safe.

About: Hello all! My name is Melissa and I've been working with animals most of my life and have so loved being able to do so! On top of being a pet owner all my life, I've been an avid horseback rider which meant I was always barn sitting and pet sitting from a young age. I've cared for up to 20 horses and 6 dogs at one time, so no dog is too big :) I've worked with many sizes, breeds and personalities in dogs and I take a personalized approach when it comes to pet care. I have two of my own dogs, Oakley and Theo.If you're looking for an active household, we're definitely it! We spend most of our time on our farm and work from home part of the week. About: I have worked in the Forsyth Humane Society for years and have grown up with all kinds of dogs! I have walked dogs of all sizes and training levels and can maintain them all! I am available for long walks and even runs with dogs if wanted! I will be working a hybrid internship this summer which will allow me to fit dog walks and visits into my day! I am a collegiate athlete so I am also moving around and working out. These walks would most likely be my second workout of the day and a good way to keep moving throughout the day! I am a very compassionate and loving caretaker of dogs, both at my own home and with others dogs. Throughout my experience at the Forsyth Humane Society I learned how to care for different types of dogs and can adapt quickly to what a dog needs or wants!

About: I started taking care of the family dog a few years ago. With him, I administered medication in a positive way and helped train him. I am comfortable using a harness and a regular collar. I also helped train my senior dog on his reactivity with positive reinforcement. Currently, I am on summer break. I work as a teacher during the school year, so my availability for the next few months is open. At my apartment, my roommate’s dog I take out every 2-3 hours and I give him lots of cuddles. I keep an eye out for anything around me to make sure it is safe.

About: I have had dogs in my family for throughout my whole life, so I have grown up around them. I have watched my dogs multiple times while my parents were away. I have also dogsat for other families over night and during the day. I am a student at UNC Chapel Hill, so I could pet sit anytime outside of my classes. I am happy to dog sit overnight.
