So i will be available to take runs with pups over the weekend, I can also do overnight sitting if neeeded for those long nights out on the town. This was my first booking with Rebekah and I would definitely book her again. She was caring and conscientious, asked great questions and went well above and beyond expectations. Not only did she take great care of my cats, but it was wonderful to come home to a house that was as clean as I had left it.

Definitely recommend Caleigh for a drop in visit! This was our first time doing Rover and as someone who was pretty nervous about it because at the end of the day you are trusting your pets/house to someone you have never met before, Caleigh gave us peace of mind when we first met. Definitely rebooking for our next trip. We have a recently diagnosed diabetic cat who needs insulin shots twice a day and it was no problem at all.

About: I’m dedicated to keeping your pets safe and happy! My experience includes: fostering and training a 7 year old husky mix with behavioral problems and training my 3 year old dog since puppyhood with the help of a friend who is a behavioral dog trainer. I have also done overnight stays for senior dogs with specialized care needs due to PTSD. I have administered oral and eye medication to several dogs. I’m comfortable with most size breeds and would welcome a meet and greet. I’m currently studying for school, so I have plenty of time to care for your fur babies! I’m available most early afternoons to evenings Monday through Sunday. I offer overnight stays as well as an extended stays. I offer multiple walks per day and enrichment time to dogs I sit for. I’m happy to crate your dog as needed and follow any routine medication, diet and commands that would maintain their safety and happiness. I routinely update clients daily on the status of their dogs with videos and pictures.

About: I’ve had a passion for dogs and animals from a very young age and have spent most of my life around dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. Over the years, I’ve gained hands-on experience through owning, caring for, and training my own dogs while learning the importance of patience, consistency, structure, and building trust with every animal. For the past year, I’ve been working with dogs professionally through dog walking, pet sitting, basic obedience training, and daily care. During that time, I’ve continued developing my skills in canine behavior, leash handling, crate training, socialization, and positive reinforcement techniques. I’m especially passionate about helping dogs become confident, well-mannered companions while making sure they feel safe, exercised, and cared for. My experience as both a lifelong dog owner and a professional pet care provider has taught me that every dog is different and deserves individualized attention, compassion, and understanding. Whether working with puppies, high-energy working breeds, or family pets, I take pride in creating a calm, positive experience for both dogs and their owners. I work from home from 8AM to 5PM. So I have plenty of time in the morning and in the evening for feeding. I also have the freedom of taking breaks to play with your pets regularly. The safety, comfort, and trust of every pet in my care is always my top priority. I work hard to create a calm, structured, and positive environment where pets can feel secure, relaxed, and cared for like family. I understand that every animal has its own personality, routines, and comfort levels, so I take the time to build trust patiently and respectfully. Whether I’m walking, training, or pet sitting, I focus on maintaining safe handling practices, close supervision, clean spaces, and consistent routines. I pay attention to behavior, stress signals, and each pet’s individual needs to help them feel confident and comfortable while away from their owners. As both a lifelong pet owner and someone who works with animals professionally, I know how important trust is when leaving your pet in someone else’s care. My goal is to provide dependable, compassionate care that gives both pets and owners peace of mind.

About: • Feed and entertain a variety of pets. • Walk dogs for exercise and companionship. • Communicate with pet owners to understand their concerns. • Record animal information, such as dietary intake and treatments. • Grooming dog breeds as needed. • I also have experience with intensive care and disabled dogs. (Our sweet fur baby, Miracle, got sick from a tick when we were traveling and developed a brain infection. She was paralized and blind for 3 months! Thankfully, with the help of our vet and our intensive care provided at home, she is still slightly blind but she has made a full recovery!) I am available nearly all the time. The only exception would be when we are visiting our family that lives out of state. This is usually in July and December! We have 8 children who are use to being around a variety of animals all the time. I have three friendly dogs and four friendly cats. I also have chickens and goats that are in their own fennced area. I can crate your dog and administor medications if needed.

About: Hi! I’m Ann, a reliable and attentive pet caregiver who genuinely enjoys spending time with animals, but especially dogs. I understand that every dog has their own personality, energy level, and needs—and I tailor each sit, walk, or boarding stay to make sure your pup feels safe, happy, and cared for. I have been training and caring for dogs for over 40 years. Some were mine, and some were clients'. All of which have taught me valuable lessons about patience, communication, and unconditional love. I learned that from animals. Whether your dog needs a quick potty break, a long energy-burning walk, or just some companionship while you are out doing people things, I’ve got you covered. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, and I always prioritize safety, consistency, and clear communication with pet parents. You can expect: * 🐕 Dependable, on-time walks, safe and comfortable boarding, and training if needed * 📸 Photo and update after each visit * 🦴 Attention to your dog’s routine and preferences * 💛 Gentle, patient handling (great for anxious or reactive dogs) I treat every dog like they’re my own—because I know how much they mean to you. Let’s make your dog’s day a little brighter 🐾 Currently, I am available full time for care. My availability will depend on the service needed, distance and customer constraints. We can work those out conversationally. Safety, Trust & Environment When pets are with me, their safety and comfort always come first. In Your Home (Dog Walking & Drop-Ins): I make sure to respect your routines and follow all instructions carefully—whether it’s feeding, medications, or reinforcing training commands. I check gates, doors, and leashes before every walk, and I never introduce your pet to unfamiliar animals without your permission. My goal is to give your pet exercise, attention, and calm companionship while keeping your home secure. In My Care (If Boarding/Daycare): Pets stay in a clean, dog-friendly environment where they’re treated like family. I provide cozy rest spaces, safe playtime, and regular potty breaks. I limit the number of pets I host so that every dog gets personal attention. I always supervise play, and I maintain a calm environment to reduce stress and keep tails wagging. Trust & Communication: I believe pet parents deserve peace of mind, so I provide regular updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing. I treat every animal as if they were my own—because I know how important they are to you.

About: I have never not had a dog in my life. I have owned Labs, Boxers, German Shepherds, Irish Setters, Huskies, and Bulldogs. While only owning larger breeds, I do have experience with smaller dogs. I have worked as a home care professional dealing with older people and their pets, with overnight stays which involved cleaning and meal preparation. Athletics have always been an important part of my life and that carries over to playing with, walking and caring for the dogs. I would say that my biggest weakness is that I often get attached to the dogs, however I would say that is a strength as far as the dogs are concerned. I am very trustworthy and dedicated with a good work history and work ethic. I can currently working full time and also attending UNF full time. My hours vary from day to day, just because of class times, so if you have any questions or concerns, feel free to ask! I don’t offer services in my own home, so I will come to yours. Depending on the yard situation, I love to take dogs outside and run around with them or play fetch with them, just help them get their energy out. Especially if they’ve been kept inside for most of the day! I know my dogs really enjoy this, so I make sure to get that play-time in, while dogsitting. I also know that it is very important to dog owners to get the walk in, everyday. So, I always make sure to listen to those instructions and follow through with them, it’s always good to keep up the routine and the dogs always look forward to it!

About: I am a second year veterinary student who has worked as a small animal veterinary assistant for about 3 years. I have experience in caring for senior pets and younger puppies/kittens as well. I grew up with dogs and cats, and now have a three-legged cat of my own. I am very reliable, thorough, and will care for your pets as my own. I’m currently home for the summer after my first year of vet school, so I have plenty of time to help you care for your fur babies! My current part-time work/volunteer schedule will allow me to have a flexible schedule to meet you and your pets’ needs. I have one dog and four cats at home who all get along very well and their comfort is the top priority. I will ensure your pets safety and comfort needs are met based on your instructions given. I am able to crate your animals, leash walk only if needed, and keep a close eye on them when going outside. If your animals need to be kept separate at any point such as meal time, I will be able to accommodate for that as well.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Advance stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Advance choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

To find sitters in Advance with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Advance. On Rover:

  • 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 99% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
