About: Hello! My name is Abby and I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, and plants since 2015. Pet-sitting truly is my joy!! I have experience checking in on pets during the day time, cleaning litter boxes, taking dogs of all shapes and sizes on walks, and overnight house sitting for up to 2 weeks at a time. This means I have a very flexible schedule and am able to pop in to care for your pets at the needed times or even work remotely if needed. Most weeks my meetings are limited to Tuesday mornings, otherwise my schedule is pretty fluid. While I am unable to offer my own home for pet sitting, I can guarantee that I will care for your pet(s) in their home environment as well as I would my own. If you have a dog, one of my first questions I ask when pet-sitting is… “how long is your dog accustomed to waiting in between potty breaks?” I ask because each pet has different needs and I never want to make a dog wait longer than they typically would. I also want to keep to their normal schedule as much as possible, if they’re used to daily walks at certain times or being feed at very particular times then I will make notes to care for them the same way you do. The goal truly is for the dog or cat to receive the same attention and care that they have when their favorite people are home :)

As a child, I always had animals in the house to take care of, and I've been dog/cat sitting since I was 16. My experience includes: fostering and training a 7 year old husky mix with behavioral problems and training my 3 year old dog since puppyhood with the help of a friend who is a behavioral dog trainer.
