About: Growing up we have always had dogs and cats in the house, I couldn’t imagine not having each of them! We’ve had all different breeds and sizes that each lived 11-18 years, so I am used to taking care of old dogs and puppies. I also want to keep to their normal schedule as much as possible, if they’re used to daily walks at certain times or being feed at very particular times then I will make notes to care for them the same way you do. The goal truly is for the dog or cat to receive the same attention and care that they have when their favorite people are home :)

About: I myself have a deaf and anxious pup. From her, I have learned how to navigate certain tough situations. I have had to put so much time and effort into her training and am watching her become an amazingly happy and well behaved dog (she even knows a bit of sign language!) I also lost a buddy back in July. He was 14 years old and required medication administration many times a day. With him I learned a lot about helping the old guys feel as happy and safe as possible because they are probably scared of the changes they are experiencing in their lives. I am very active and love going on long walks, so having a dog there would just be an extra bit of fun! I am currently in school but only taking a few classes. I'll have time to play with your pups in the evening especially if you need a night off but they still need a walk! I live in an apartment so leashes are crucial. I would never let my own dog off the leash, so I would never put your dog in a situation where something could go wrong. My own dog is quite reactive on the leash, so if I sense that we are approaching a person/dog/object that might trigger her reactivity I usually steer clear of it to avoid any kind of avoidable altercation. I want every dog to feel safe so i will adjust based on what your dog’s body language is telling me.
