I can often be in the home caring for your animals or taking them out more often than a traditional sitter who works a 9-5. I dog sit for many members of my family and have had dogs since I was 2 years old. I have a lot of experience giving medication and working with elderly animals. About: Hello! My name is Abby and I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, and plants since 2015. Pet-sitting truly is my joy!! I have experience checking in on pets during the day time, cleaning litter boxes, taking dogs of all shapes and sizes on walks, and overnight house sitting for up to 2 weeks at a time. Thanks to my daytime job as a Youth Pastor my schedule is more flexible than most. I pride myself on customizing each pet sitting experience to the pet and their owner(s). The beauty of pet sitting over boarding is that this experience can be tailored to what YOUR special needs are! For instance, if your dog has a history of on-leash walking issues, while I’m with them I’d be happy to plant seeds for good behavior on future walks. While I may be newer to a platform like Rover, know that I am a well-seasoned pet sitter who has experience with a variety of households, breeds, ages, and situations. This means I have a very flexible schedule and am able to pop in to care for your pets at the needed times or even work remotely if needed. Most weeks my meetings are limited to Tuesday mornings, otherwise my schedule is pretty fluid. While I am unable to offer my own home for pet sitting, I can guarantee that I will care for your pet(s) in their home environment as well as I would my own. If you have a dog, one of my first questions I ask when pet-sitting is… “how long is your dog accustomed to waiting in between potty breaks?” I ask because each pet has different needs and I never want to make a dog wait longer than they typically would. I also want to keep to their normal schedule as much as possible, if they’re used to daily walks at certain times or being feed at very particular times then I will make notes to care for them the same way you do. The goal truly is for the dog or cat to receive the same attention and care that they have when their favorite people are home :)

About: Most dogs experience separation anxiety when away from their Parents . I am available to care for them in their home, which lessens their anxiety and keeps their daily routines. I deliver loving, peaceful, and safe care and am open to other light tasks such as plant care, mail collection, etc I am available to care for your babies and stick to their daily routines. I understand the importance of routine to keep them happy and comfortable. I respect the owner’s Home as if my own and am glad to assist with other simple tasks such as mail collection, plant watering, trash roll out, etc while you’re away.

About: Hello! My name is Karissa and I'm 25. I've taken care of, fostered, and owned many cats and dogs throughout all life stages. As a child, I always had animals in the house to take care of, and I've been dog/cat sitting since I was 16. I am familiar with kittens and puppies, but also with elderly dogs/cats as well as dogs/cats with various medical conditions that may need different kinds of medicine administration or lifestyle adjustments. I am currently working Wednesday-Sunday from 4pm until 10pm, but I am still available for overnight stays on all of those days as long as your pets are okay with me being away for those periods of time. I am available for house sitting bookings and short-term drop in visits at this time. I understand that keeping our pets safe and happy is of the highest priority, and how I will take care of your pets will reflect that. It is always important to make sure your pups are going on walks fit for their lifestyle/needs and that every cat is getting the stimulation they need while you are away.

About: As of this time, I am only open for, dog walking, drop ins, etc. i will give your furry friend all the care it needs. I am a dog trainer with alot of knowledge into special needs, medication, etc. if you need it i probably got it for you! Sadly it has come to the point i must add this. Please respond to me after i send you a response on your request. I understand if you have to figure things out. But i shouldn’t be figuring out whether you want to book or not on the day of just because you don't feel like texting back. From This point on after 48 hours of no response the request will be archived. I apologize for any inconvenience but it makes if difficult to know how many spots i have or to know if i can accommodate another dog. I work from home as a dog trainer. I absolutely adore working with different dog breeds and getting to learn more about body language and the different styles of play and communication between each ones. Im always happy to take care of your furry friend and give them the love and care that they deserve while you are out of town or just need a break from them. I would like to make it clear that our texting hours are between 9am-9pm. Before or after that you will receive a text message the next morning after 9. Updates are usually given every other night around last potty time and are sent with pics/vids as well as a brief written update of how it is going. Occasionally i will send more updates if they are doing something really cute. Due to the amount of times this has happened. I will be adding a $5 late fee once an hour has passed from pickup without communication. Communicating is one thing just not picking up your dog is another. I have both dogs and cats at our house. I am well versed at making sure everyone gets along and separating those who don’t. If you have a dog that doesn’t do well with other dogs never fear, they can have their own area to get away from our pets or other rover dogs.

About: I’ve had dogs all my life. My oldest is currently 14 (Archie my beagle/wiener dog mix) and soul pup Winston (bluetick beagle/bloodhound mix who passed in 2020). I miss having dogs of my own but know that I cannot dedicate the funds to getting one of my own just yet. I’d would be so happy to spend time with your pup(s) to give them all the love/snuggles I can! I’m very active so expect lots of walks too. I do currently work full time as a graduate student researcher. My days are very variable though. If sitting your dog, I can plan my experiments around their walks/make sure I am home as long as I can be with them! Weekends are certainly preferred though as I cannot escape my classes Tuesday/Thursday/Friday I have a unit right next to my complex’s dog park, so I can let them out to run and play! I do not have crates or bowls for food/water so those would have to be provided (and food/treats too)!
