About: I've taken care of dogs for 13 years. No kids and or animals at home. I love animals and welcome cats and dogs of any size or breed. I live walking distance from a soccer field with a great track for walks. Both of my senior dogs crossed the rainbow bridge recently and before their passing we had a nice routine going. I work nearby and will come home on my breaks to check on the pups and take them out on pee breaks. I have Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays off, which I normally spend at home or on hikes at local parks. I do not have a fenced in yard. However, I have no issue with pets on the furniture and I have a spare room for crates.
“I'm very pleased with the services that Tricia G provided for us. This was something very new to us cause we normally have family to help out but they wasn't available at the time. But I can say that I would recommend her to anyone that needs service and we would most definitely us her again. Thanks so much Tricia we greatly appreciate it.”

About: My full time job allows for flexibility during the work day and allows me to work anywhere with wifi. I can often be in the home caring for your animals or taking them out more often than a traditional sitter who works a 9-5. I dog sit for many members of my family and have had dogs since I was 2 years old. I have a lot of experience giving medication and working with elderly animals. If I am available, I would love to set up a meet and greet to see if I would be a good fit! I work a flexible 9-5 and can drop in to walk or spend additional time caring for your animal(s) because of the flexibility! I wake up early as well! I treat each home like I am a true guest there and treat it and the animals if they were my own. I am very respectful of the rules and furniture.
About: Ive had pets since i was 7 years old. From dogs to hermit crabs ive been taking care of them for years. My neighbors rely on me when they go out of town and they need their pets taken care of. Rest assured I'll take care of yours too! I have two pets myself. I have a strict routine that helps my dogs thrive and i will keep your pets same routine as well. I have a huge yard and two pets. One of my dogs is calm while the other is not so to be on the safe side id rather pet sit in your home instead of mine.
About: I have always had a fondness for animals, I believe they show us the best parts of love! I have taken care of many animals including cats, dogs, and goats for many friends and family. I love spending time with the little babies who need a bit of extra attention, time, and patience! I am currently employed full time within walking distance from my apartment. I go on walks in the morning and evening, and would love more companions! I have a knack for reading how people/animals are doing in new situations, so I do my best to provide a gentle, patient, and loving home away from home!
“Gabriel did a great job at looking after our kitties and following our instructions, even with construction going on in our house while we were gone! He is nice and pleasant and I thoroughly appreciated his help. We had no issues at all! Recommend booking for drop in cat visits!!”

“Shannon did a great job with my Husky. She knows how to handle big dogs, is very communicative, and cares about doing a good job. I'll definitely ask for her again the next time I head out of town and can't take my dog with me. Highly recommend!”

We follow each owner’s instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, litter box care, medications, and any special needs their pet may have. For dogs, we provide regular walks, playtime, and plenty of attention to keep them happy and exercised. For cats, we make sure litter boxes are kept clean, feeding routines are maintained, and they receive playtime and affection while still respecting their space. We always prioritize safety, cleanliness, and communication. We keep environments secure, monitor pets closely, and send regular updates and photos so owners know their pets are happy and well cared for while they’re away. About: I have over 20 years of hands-on experience caring for animals of all kinds. I grew up on a working ranch, which gave me the opportunity to care for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, ferrets, chickens, goats, sheep, donkeys, and horses.etc. That background taught me how to confidently handle animals with a variety of needs, personalities, and energy levels. I have had all breeds of dogs growing up, but currently, at home, I have two large dogs — a Doberman, a Cane Corso, and a boxer/pocket bully mix — so I’m no stranger to strong breeds, high energy, or big personalities. I understand how to manage powerful dogs calmly and safely. I also have three cats. What sets me apart is my wide-ranging animal experience, my confidence with large and exotic pets, and my professional training. I’m certified in pet CPR and first aid, and I take pride in providing reliable, attentive care while following your instructions closely. Whether you’re looking for someone to care for your dogs, exotic pets, or farm animals, I’m here to offer safe, compassionate, and knowledgeable care. I am currently switched my schedule where I work a lot less and pick what days I want to work, so I can have more time on my off days doing what I love best, caring and loving on animals. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat both the animals and the home with the utmost respect. I follow all care instructions carefully and stick to the pet’s normal routine to help them feel comfortable and secure while you’re away. JUST A HEADS UP! I do require all boarding dogs to come with a crate, for comfort and safety! I understand how important it is to create a safe, stress-free, and trustworthy environment. I’m calm, reliable, and always make sure pets feel seen, heard, and cared for. Whether it’s feeding, walking, litter box cleaning, administering medications, or just providing company, I handle every task with patience and care. I’m also certified in pet CPR and first aid, which gives added peace of mind in case of an emergency. I’ll keep you updated with messages and photos so you can feel confident your pets are safe and happy while you’re gone.

As of August 2026, there are 684 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Arnold. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Arnold. On Rover:
- 94% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
