“It was our first time leaving our little fur baby alone, but Chloe helped with all the small stresses. She continually sent photos and messages letting us know how he was doing. She goes above and beyond to help each pet and owner. Highly recommend!”

“We went home for Christmas and Kathy did a great job of taking care of our pup! Utley was so well taken care of and I looked forward to getting our Rover card each day! Would definitely use Kathy again, she was so great!”

“I have been using Richard for several months now & it was such a relief to find someone with such a consistent schedule to come daily and let out my two mid-sized dogs. I always get a few pictures and updates & he seems to truly enjoy the dogs and their quirks! He is reliable, a great communicator & has also now become my go-to for when I travel - a great dog sitter all around (even gives my elderly dog her medicine and knows when to carry her on the steps when it looks like her joints are hurting her). Wonderful dog sitter, so caring- highly recommend!”

“Danielle was so wonderful with my dog. She took the instructions I provided and followed with great attention to detail and care. My dog truly loved the time she spent with her, and I felt she was in great hands during my time away. It’s always great to have someone you can trust with pets, and Danielle was such a great fit for my dog and I!”

“Emma did a great job caring for our cats! She came to meet them and get instructions. She sent fun pictures and took care in feeding, petting and cleaning up. I recommend her and would use her again.”

About: Hi, I'm Katie (legally Kathleen)! I have lived my whole life surrounded by dogs, and being with them truly makes me the happiest! Since coming to the College of Charleston, I haven't been able to be with dogs as much as I would like - which is why I joined Rover! I have experience caring for senior dogs and playful puppies. No matter the size or energy level, I'll love your furry friend like they are my own. The services I currently offer are dog walking and drop in visits! Since I am a college student I have class for two hours in the morning, Monday through Friday. The times differ slightly depending on the day so please feel free to reach out for exact details - I am more than happy to work around your pet's needs... ex: a walk before and/or after my classes. I also work part-time in the evenings (usually 4–9 PM about four days a week), but outside of that I’m flexible and available. I’ll always do my best to accommodate your schedule and make sure your furry friend gets plenty of love and attention. When caring for your pet I will make sure they get all the love and attention they could ever need! I am open to both long or short walks and will always ensure that leashes are secure, doors are locked, and your pup is well hydrated - especially during the hotter months. I am happy to provide any extra care needed to senior dogs or one's with special needs.

“I was very pleased with Kate D and the care that she provided for my 4 year old tuxedo cat, Belle. I was away for 11 days and received reports from Kate daily giving me peace of mind in my absence. My cat is generally slow to warm up to new people; but, she took to Kate right away. I would highly recommend leaving your beloved pet with Kate.”

“There’s no way I could explain how great Anna was with our cats in this space because it would be a novel! She was so conscientious, kind, caring and responsible not only with our cats, but our whole house. She is a lovely person and I swear I think my cats are a little depressed with her no longer here to dote on them…she is over-the-top wonderful and we were so grateful to have her help us while we were out of town. Thank you a million, Anna!!!”

About: Have had my own dogs most of my life but I also did a lot of dog sitting throughout highschool! In college I would help foster dogs from the local animal shelter and currently have my own dog who is an older senior rescue. I work part time right now and have more free time on Wednesdays and Fridays and of course the weekends. If you need someone to let your dog out a few times a day I would love to help out! I would always be able to come to your home to help care for your dog whether that’s a nice long walk or spending some couch time with them!!

“Skylar kept me informed on my dog and sent the cutest pictures. I had shared a few concerns about my dogs well being due to my other dog passing away and she kept a close watch on her to ensure she was doing well. I will definitely use her again and recommend her fully!”

“Sangram is the best! He always responds immediately, sends tons of photos, and genuinely cared about my three cats while they were in his care for over a week. He even got my super shy cat to come out of hiding and sit with him! My litter robot needed rebooting while I was away and he was happy to help reset it. I’d definitely recommend him to anyone and am so glad to have found a reliable sitter!”

“Annabelle was very sweet and great with our 2 cats while we were gone for a week. Everything was just as it should be when we returned home and she did everything we asked. We would definitely use her again in the future”

“Izabella was great! She was timely and super communicative. She sent so many photos which I love when being away from my cat. I knew Stevie was in good hands while I was gone and I would definitely book Izabella again!”

About: I’ve taken care and had dogs of my own my whole life. I love all dogs! I’m happy to give them the comfort they need. I grew up with medium- large sized dogs and have experience taking care of puppies as well. I’m currently in school at night, so I’m always free during regular work hours. I’m available during the week until 4. Would love to help! I always make sure that the pets are well taken care of, fed, and have gone to the bathroom. I’m happy to help and love them just as much as you!

About: I’ve had dogs/animals my entire life and just moved back to CHS from NYC as I work remotely. Now just looking to connect with animals & the city again through Rover. I started using Rover in 2023, but I have also volunteered in shelters, house+dog sat for friends on vacation, continuously walked neighbors dogs, done house calls for daily care of cats and am also a certified service dog sitter! I currently work the classic 9-5 during the week, but as a remote employee my schedule is very flexible! I have mostly available weekends and am flexible to work with whatever schedule necessary for you. While my house is super pet friendly (ie furniture) I respect all house boundaries you have in place and will be sure to align all work with your comfort level.

Dakota is a wonderful and responsible caregiver. My cats love her and that’s says a lot because our ine cat, Cat Stevens, never comes out of hiding when a stranger is in the house and he couldn’t get enough petting and love from her. She showed up when she said she would, took care of the cats, the litter, the food and water and gave them both tons of love and attention. I highly recommend Dakota if you’re looking for quality pet care!

Sarah was wonderful with our Honey during a drop in visit! She sent pictures and updates which is so appreciated. She made sure to give Honey all the love and took her out for a potty break. We appreciated Sarah’s updates and felt that our fur baby was in great hands. Thank you, Sarah!

Claire is the best. She is such a professional and her level of efficiency doesn’t sacrifice the love and care she gives your pets. She made an extra last-min trip to see my cat right before she left town when my flight got cancelled and really saved me. Very grateful and highly recommend!

Isaiah came to help us with our disabled senior dog. He was very kind and gentle with her. He did everything we asked him to do plus took her for a couple of walks in her stroller. The heat made it hard to do every day. Zoe was so at ease with him that she let him place her harness on her. She is very attached to her Daddy, who cannot take her out to potty due to recent surgery. We def hope to see Isaiah again soon!

Danielle was so wonderful with my dog. She took the instructions I provided and followed with great attention to detail and care. My dog truly loved the time she spent with her, and I felt she was in great hands during my time away. It’s always great to have someone you can trust with pets, and Danielle was such a great fit for my dog and I!

Cameron is the best! She has been super helpful as I raise my new puppy on my own. She is always on time and lets me know when she arrives and when she leaves. She also always sends me pictures which I love🥰 Cameron has also even been working with my puppy on things such as sit, stay, and lie down. I was super hesitant to just leave my “baby” with anyone but Cameron has been super trustworthy!
